Red isn't your awesome 'Strongest Trainer'

Posted

Time to break the shitstorm threads

Anywhos,

A little part of the Pokemon fandom has been insinuating that Red, is the strongest trainer over all regions and yadayada.

Fact is, no. It's more surprising when you learn the truth.

On Mt. Silver 'you', as in Ethan/Kris, defeat him. Unless you lost, but basically, you get the point. That is the first.

Second in the PWT, 'you' in Pokemon B/W2, defeat him. Majorly because of the 3-Pokemon and Level 50 format. [in normal battles]

So that hightens the ranking to:

1.Posted ImagePosted Image [because defeated him first, with all six Pokemon]

2.

[because you defeated Red in the PWT only with 3 Pokemon and at level 50-only]

3. Posted Image Your God trainer. I also consider him that, but just wanted to clear stuff up because wynaut.

Also i tried to make it as Geronimo-ish as posible so please show me some luv ;-;

I still consider Rosa / Nate the strongest trainers ever. I mean, yeah, they didn't use Lv. 90-ish Pokemon or whatever, but they did beat EVERY Gym Leader AND Champion from every region. So, that's like collecting 40 badges and going through 5 Pokemon League buildings. How much did Red or any of the other protagonists go through? :P

So yeah. Dat relativity.

I....think......so.........?

Also, in Games versus Anime, Ash is NOT Red. Red is Awesome. Ash is a putz.(common knowledge but I wanted to put it anyway.)

Hmm.I wonder if *NEW TRAINER* will surpass even Gold/Ethan/Kris/Lyra and Nate/Rosa

Brendan/May Ftw...

In the games you can beat anyone. The games are their own thing.

In the actual Manga no one will ever beat Red.

If there is a Trainer that I might consider to be as strong as Red or stronger is Hilbert(Black in the Manga) from Black and White 1

Also,Red has a LV 88 PIKACHU

Also,In the manga no one has ever defeated Red after he became the champion

In the games yes he has been beat but in the Manga he is Unbeatable.

I've mentioned the Manga nowhere in the thread.

Basically, if you bring in Manga, anime is also acceptable, that broadly means, Red never existed or... is Ash. But we know that's stupid.

I'm talking game-side.

I agree with you Jill, but Gym battles have No level limit and are 3+ Pokemon with no different battle schemes so...That kinda still puts G/S forward with 16 badges. Not revealing my fangasm for the second gen here, but just saying~

I don't take the manga into consideration because I've never read it.  Thus, I have to concede Ethan/Kris/Lyra are the top guns in the Pokeyman world.  Eat that, perfect-IV-team-Cynthia.

Well in that case

Game-side whoever you're currently playing as is the best trainer

Ash never existed in the game universe unlike Red who got mentioned many times

And by manga I mean Pokemon Adventure.

The Electric tale of Pikachu doesn't count
