Ok... yeah... so its Pokemon. Here are the rules and story. And yes, I'm making a girl character again. NOT ONE WORD
- NO FREAKING CHATSPEAK. I WILL BEAT YOU FOR ANY IN-CHARACTER CHATSPEAK (unless your character randomly decides to say "lol" instead of laughing
- Besides that, you must be accepted in order to participate. I want to see decent(at least understandable) grammar and spelling, and use of good vocab and description. Oh, and just so you know, I'm a comma freak. So try not to mis-use them, thanks.
- Stay on topic, and if you're talking out of character, please put "OOC:" before your comments, and a line break before you go back into character
- All posts should be in 3rd person ("he did", "she did", NOT "i did")
So yeah, this will be a proper RPG. Proper by my standards Yeah, it's just for fun, but I want it to be nice. And interesting to read. So. Here's the basic idea of the story.
- You play a novice pokemon breeder whose goal is to qualify a pokemon for, and hopefully win, the International Tybalt Championships.
- The ITC is a huge international championship where trainers compete in 1-on-1 battles with pokemon that they've raised. However, there is more to it than that. Every contestant earns points in every battle they compete in, based on their style of battling and attacks. Before the championships start, there is also a beauty contest of sorts, where pokemon are scored on their condition. These points help to determine where they battle.
- In order to qualify for the ITC, you must have a pokemon of one of the eligible species that has won at least three qualifying events. These qualifiers are held across the pokemon world and in order to qualify, you must defeat the qualifier's Champion, similar to a gym battle.
- Below are the eligible pokemon (all pre-evolutions of said pokemon are allowed as well)
+ Ninetales
+ Persian
+ Arcanine
+ Houndoom
+ Mightyena
+ Delcatty
+ Manectric
+ Luxray
+ Purugly

I will be playing the ITC qualifier trainers and officials, as well as an accomplished breeder from Sinnoh who you may come to for advice. Below is my joining form and first post.
Character's Name: Danielle "Dani" Reese
Character Bio: Dani grew up on her parents' pokemon breeding farm, and has dedicated herself to raising various species of pokemon for local trainers. She's qualified a few pokemon for the ITC, but never won, and has since turned her attention to helping others qualify and train for the championship. She's fairly young, being in her late twenties, and has been known for her stubborn determination to be the best she can be. Of course, this same stubborn streak can be a detriment to her, as well. She's not one to give up in an argument until she is certain she is wrong, and if there's no proof against her opinion, she will defend it all the way. Her favorite pokemon is the first one to ever belong to her and her alone: Adrastea, her faithful Houndoom and the mother of a number of sucessful pokemon. Dani is also quite dedicated to her Camerupt breeding program, where she breeds and then trains Numel for hauling and carrying equipment. Overall, Dani is sweet but set in her ways, and is extremely dedicated to what she does.
Introductory Post:
Dani woke to the sun's early morning rays shimmering through the window. Yawning, she rolled out of bed and dressed in jeans and an old t-shirt. It was time to feed the pokemon.
Once she had dressed and toasted a bagel for breakfast, Dani jogged down to the closest of three barns - the brood barn. This was where the pregnant pokemon stayed until laying their eggs, and where they would remain until the eggs hatched. Then they would be moved to the pasture behind the brood barn, where they were allowed to raise their babies for a few months, until it was time for the humans to take over.
Dani went into the white building and flipped on the lights to a chorus of excited calls. The females were ready for breakfast. She began to measure out the various foods for all of the pokemon while thinking of the exciting months to come. Soon trainers all over the world would begin their preparations for the International Tybalt Championships. Hopefully she'd be able to place a few of her newest babies into homes where they could have a chance to compete in the ITC. Of course, not every pokemon she bred would be eligible, but there were enough that were to go around.
After feeding the pregnant females, she moved to the metal barn situated not far away. This was the Camerupt barn, made of metal to ensure that the baby Numel's spontaneous fire breathing didn't catch the entire building on fire. While a full-grown Camerupt might have been able to melt the barn, a young Numel would be lucky to cause scorch marks. Entering the barn, she turned her attention immediately to the first stall on the right, where a large pokemon was standing lazily. Unlike most Camerupt, this was a dark blue-gray pokemon, with yellow markings on its side.
"Morning, Eeyore!" Dani called cheerily, and the Camerupt flicked an ear in response. Apparently content with this small action, Dani beamed and proceeded to feed the pokemon in the barn before moving to the last barn. The inside of this barn was more like a kennel, and the walls were lined with large cages containing various species of pokemon. Dani fed these pokemon and then filled a wheelbarrow with a grain-like substance, pushing it out of the barn and toward a giant field containing many different species of pokemon.
Entering the paddock, Dani wheeled the grain to the center of the field, where a number of pokemon were already gathering, and began to gently pour it out, spreading it in a line so as to allow every pokemon room to eat. She put the wheelbarrow away and then went back to the kennel-filled barn. Walking cheerfully down the aisle, she came to a stop in front of a cage containing a young Skitty. The little pink pokemon was chasing a ball of yarn around its cage.
"Hey there, Martini." Dani smiled at the Skitty, who stopped playing with the yarn to meow at the lady. "Ready for a little bit of training? You and the other Skitty are getting some exercise today." She told her, opening the cage and clipping a leash to a collar that was around the pokemon's neck. She repeated this process with three other Skitty before bringing them into a small fenced-in area with a number of targets set up at one end.
"Alright, guys." The young woman let the young pokemon off of their leashes. "I'll let you guys exercise for a bit. You haven't been out in two days, I've been so busy with preparing for ITC season."
