Day 1

I slipped the key into its whole and opened the door. It was a rather expansive, modern living room with a kitchen behind a doorway and a flight of stairs that led up to the bathrooms. A pair of doors on the other side of the stairs were the changing rooms leading to their own sides of the hot spring behind the house. "Alright." I said to everyone. Let's head upstairs and unpack. Then we have two options: chill here and get settled; or get changed and hit the beach."

(One of the few times I'm doing first person. Let's hope it won't get too confusing, if it is, I'll switch to 3rd person.)

I stood behind Sikota, peering over his shoulder. In one hand, was the handle to my suitcase. In the other, was Sora's hand. The action of holding her hand made me tremble--I was such an awkward person that doing such a things made me shake ever so slightly, and apparently a lot of people got a kick out of that. "I guess we should relax out by the beach." I said, looking to Sora first, before looking at everyone else.

(Yes, I did ask Sora's Baby if I could start out by holding her hand~)

(Sodom shall try to use first person, but make it a bit easier)

I was practically hidden between Silver and Sikota, stepping quickly into the house.

"I think we should go to the beach...I haven't been there in god only knows how long. After we're done there, we can come back and settle while we dry off." I explained with a small smile.

She was a bit thankful she'd be dragged into this.

(Let's try first person a tad)

I walked into the house, hands behind my head, smile on my face. "Slick place huh?" I said. Turning to Sikota now, I spoke again. "Well, being from the central coast of California, I've been to the beach often enough. Never gets old though." I finished looking around the house, then back to my friends. Sikota had been lucky enough to win a contest, and nice enough to invite all of us.Cool guy, for sure.

(first person as continuing theme? Okay)

"Kurai-chan votes beach, Silver votes beach, and Yuffie votes beach, I vote beach. That's the majority. Alright, I'm going upstairs to change. There should be a bedroom for each of us." I jogged over to and up the stairs. I decided to be the courteous one and take the bedroom furthest down hall. Being left handed, I chose the one on the left. The room was rather plain. A short bed, only a little over a foot from floor to the top of the mattress. There was a desk in the corner, and a window with a view of the mountains and forest. That probably meant the the other side could see the beach. I unpacked my clothes into the dresser in the corner of the room along the bed and changed into my swimsuit. Just a pair of plain orange trunks with a purple stripe down one leg. I threw on a plain white shirt and sat at the desk and started recording the first few minutes of our trip.

I smiled at Silver. "Oh were going to the beach alright. I'm going to make Silver nose bleed." I said cheerfully.  "So now where's that kiss you promised me? " She asked Silver.

I gave a weak smile. "Yeah we can do that later." She said.

I rolled my eyes. Of course, she had to go out and say something like that. "T-that's not necessary." I said, referencing the whole 'nose bleed' thing. I'd rather she didn't do anything awkward in front of everyone else.

"As for that kiss, how 'bout now?" I asked, leaning in for one quick kiss on the her cheek, before escaping into the confines of the house.

The inside had a very 'beach' air to it. It seemed like it was made for a draft, a place where windows and doors were meant to be open. I liked it. I headed upstairs though, quickly picking the nearest room, on the right. I tossed down the suitcase at the end of the bed, quickly opening it up. I quickly changed into a pair of grey trunks, leaving on my black t-shirt emblazoned with the Org. XIII symbol.

(:O Is Sikota left-handed?! I am too!)

I rolled my eyes at Sora and Silver, dragging my bag down the hall. The door across from Sikota's room.

Quickly, I shut my door. Opening my bag, I searched through stuff, soon enough finding the black base colored two-pieced rather frilly tankini with the turquoise polka-dots aligning almost every inch of it. The bottom part was shapped almost like a skirt, but of course short like every single bathing suit out in the world. The to piece was simple, with frills on the small sleeves. Curse me being flat-chested...just curse it...I gets made fun of because of me being flat chested...but who cares? After putting on this disturbingly immature swimsuit, I quickly put on my signature blue hoodie, it was rather big on me, so it practically served as a dress for the moment. Tying my matted brown hair back, I turned towards my bags.

Without further adue, I began unpacking what I could now.

(:O Is Sikota left-handed?! I am too!)

(Lol, I'm a lefty too)I giggled a little at Silver and Sora. They were so comfortable together, and it was nice to see a happy couple. I began up the stairs, and went down the upstairs hallway. It was a seriously nice place, very beachy in feeling. I had Hawaiian music playing in my head. Ocean breeze went through the air, which smelled quite nice. I ducked into my bedroom and threw my suitcase onto the bed. I sighed deeply, breathing in the air and my surroundings. I had been under a lot of stress recently, too much stuff to do, and not enough hours in the day. I unpacked my bag, searching for my swimsuit. "Ah ha!" I said to myself, pulling out my two-piece. It was just a simple green bikini. Dark green, no real design, and it functioned. I undressed quickly, and put the bikini on. Smiling to myself, I looked at myself in the mirror. Giggling to myself, I posed. I laughed loudly, before turning to the door. I started towards it and opened the door.

I walked into the house with the five other people. Sikota was the only one I knew. There appeared to be two couples and one girl who was single. Great (sarcasm). Sikota was always trying to hook me up with some girl or other. It was a pretty nice place, with a beach and mountains. Very pretty. Everybody seemed to want to go to the beach. The "I'm staying here." I said got drowned out amongst the conversation. I went upstairs, lugging my duffel bag behind me. In the hall I passed the girl who was single. She was wearing her swimming gear. I didn't look at her as I passed by and took the room farthest down the hall as possible. Less people passing by that way. I went in, closed the door, and set down my burden. I took out my iPad and earbuds. I turned off the lights, closed the window-shades, and sat on the bed. I checked KH-13. No notifications. At least there was wifi. I closed Safari and opened up Unmechanical, the most recent game I had found. I became absorbed.

(Unmechanical is a real ipad game that I just finished. I highly recommend it.)

The first thing I did? Well obviously -like any sane person would do- I flopped onto the bed, and tested the comfortable rating of said furniture? Results say it's a definite 11/10, a must lay-on-and-never-get-off-of. It felt awesome, and for that, I was pleasantly surprised.

"Woah.." I muttered, rolling around on the soft bed, feeling the soft cushioning. "It's like the bed was perfectly tailored for me...sweet." I said aloud, smiling to myself in the few moments of quiet sanctuary. Though, I knew, that wouldn't last.

I was with a bunch of quirky teens, after all. We'd probably go off on some crazy adventure...or get attacked by islanders. Both sounded pretty sweet, though.

I sighed,as I was the last one to head up the stairs. I picked the last room one the left side of the hall. I liked to be alone more than people knew, plus it made it harder for people to find me. I kicked the door open and threw my stuff on the bed. I then shifted through the bag in till I found my bathing suit.It was a blue one peace that tied around my neck and waist,it also had white dots on it.I then put on some blue sun glasses. Next I found my hair-brush and sun-screen. After I finished readying myself.I packed a bag with all that I might need on the beach.

After taking a five minute nap I got up and went to find Silver.

I stepped out. People seemed to be ready. I went over and knocked on Neisan's door. "Hey, Neisan, ya' comin or what?" He knew his friend too well. There was no light, fluorescent or solar peeking through the opening of the door. "You've got all the time you want for your iPad, we're only here for a week. Besides, you and I could use the sun."

--Kurai--

I heard Sikota call to Neisan, closing my now empty suitcase. I walked to the door, my light weight and the way I walked kept anyone from hearing me.

I put my hand on the door, then imminently taking my hand off the knob and pulling down my jacket some. I felt so immodest...especially being around someone who constantly flirts with me like a manic. Quickly, I planned out my words and opened the door.

"Sikota-kun. I'm ready to go. Half of my stuff is put up." I said, avoiding eye-contact like I always do to people.

I sat straight up, and pulled out my iPhone. The darn thing was already at 56% battery life, I swear, it hates me or something--there is no reason for the thing to die so quickly. I haven't even used it!

I sighed, and pulled out a charger. "Freaking phone.." I muttered, plugging the phone into a nearby socket. With that, I looked about my room. I smiled, it was nice; very nice. "Whelp.." I said to myself, heading out of my room and almost bumping into Sora on my way out.

"Oh hey, Kurai-chan." I smiled at her. "Neisan, we're out. Find us on the coast as soon as you can. Bring a book or something, that's what the anti-social ones do." I turned to face Summer, Yuffie, Silver, and Sakurai. Pause for dramatic effect. "To the beach!" I grabbed an umbrella and hefted it over my shoulder with my bag and made for the door.

A book? I had better things than that. Fine, I'll go down there. Don't expect me to swim. I got up, turned on my bedside lamp, and rummaged through until I found my swimming trunks and rash-guard. I put them on, then applied sunscreen to the exposed parts of my body. I found my flip-flops, grabbed my iPad, and went out into the hallway. By the sound of it, the others were all exiting the house. I grabbed an umbrella for myself and flip-flopped down the stairs and to the door. Hopefully there will be beach chairs.

I pumped my fist in the air for added effect, my smile both mad and happy.

"Yeah, to the beach!" I cried, looking at everyone. I gave a quick smile to Sora -What else would you expect me to do?- and checked myself. Trunks? Check. That was about it, I don't sunburn easily, and I wouldn't expect for us to be out for too long...unless someone wanted to pull me along on some half-baked adventure..

--Kurai--

I sighed at Silver, pulling my jacket down again. This is the time I wish I had cat ears or something so I could express how annoyed I was.

"Lets go~" I said, basically hopping to Sikota's side.

(a few minutes later)

Sikota jabbed the umbrella into the sand and pulled up the shade. He then laid out large towel underneath it, leaving room for at least two people to lay with their heads out of the sun. Setting his bag of miscellaneous beach supplies on the corner of the towel so the wind wouldn't blow it away, he turned to face his friends. "Well... we're here. Now what?"

I walked out into the heat of a summer morning, the smell of scorching sand and salt spray hitting me like the waves breaking in the shore. Sometimes I just noticed things in that way, turning the ordinary into a simile. I walked over the small dunes and circumvented the larger ones. Sikota had set up some blankets under an umbrella. They were all just gathered around him. I've always envied Sikota's ability to make friends with and be amiable to just about everybody. Except jerks, of course. We both agreed that most of the boys in our class were idiots, and most of their actions confirmed that. I smiled at the thought. After searching a bit, I found a beach chair in the shade of a palm tree. I set up my umbrella anyway, just to darken the area. I sat down and opened my iPad, turning up the brightness all the way to reduce the glare.

I grabbed Silver's hand and tossed my bag to the side. "Let's go into the water first." She tugged him away from the group.

"Let's go~ " She dragged him over to water and pushed him in. (Srry it was short.)

—Kurai—

"Sikotaaaa...." I hopped to Sikota's side. My mood has changed.

"Come swimming with me?" I asked rather innocently, my persuasive voice always helped me.

"I don't see why not." I replied, pulling off my shirt. I wasn't exactly ripped, but the majority of my upper body was toned from running and karate, mostly prominent in my arms and abs. I bowed and gestured towards the ocean. "Lady's first."

—Kurai—

"No. Kurai doesn't like going first...." I snapped.

Seriously, I hated being first in anything. It was a bit embarrassing. I squirmed myself out of my jacket. I literally threw it a Yuffie.

"Yuffie~ I want pudding! Go get Kurai bannanah pudding!!" I commanded.

Again....CURSE ME FOR BEING SO FLATCHESTED. THE ONE THING HATE. Oh well....I have I reason Im flat chested. Kurai Sakurai. The only thirteen-at-the-time year old to ALMOST have Breast Cancer. THANK YOU GOD FOR NOT MAKING ME DIE LAST YEAR.

( That's a crazy story. I'm so glad you're okay <3 )

"Let's just go together." I said, taking Kurai's hand and pulling her over toward the coast. The tides swaying back and forth on the sand ever so rhythmically matched the pace he was running at. It was a habit at this point, always run with rhythm, his coach would say.
