SEGA has announced that a remake of the original Sonic the Hedgehog will soon be hitting the Nintendo 3DS. The updated game features stereoscopic 3D visuals, and in it, Sonic is equipped with his spin dash move and ram attack. Arguably, the most notable additions are the inclusions of a save function and the ability to personalize each button’s function.3D Sonic the Hedgehog will be released in Japan next week, on May 15th, on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS.

Wow we already got Sonic Generations for the 3DS now the original is being remade. Lets hope its better than the GBA one.

This is the 18th time they released it, I'm sticking to original genesis cartridge.

I want a new Sonic game Sega,2012 barely had anything good for Sonic except ASRT,Sonic 4 Episode 2 was incredibly mediocre.
