About a half an hour ago a thought came to mind, and I was wondering if I'm the only one to wonder but; For those of you who've seen the Birth by Sleep secret ending, do you think it's possible for Repliku to come back? We all saw Xion sitting around eating ice cream with Roxas and Axel near the end of the clip, and I remember reading in an interview that Nomura said something about nobody really being able to "die", that there's always a chance of coming back...she and Repliku are both replica's made by the Organization...Sora will have to go and connect the ties he has with everyone. To me, Sora had more of a connection with the Riku Replica than he does with Xion. So I'm wondering, why wasn't he mentioned at all in the secret ending?

You pointed out something very interesting, but I agree that I do not think he will be coming back...Sora just saw Repliku as the original Riku until the events that began to crack Repliku's mask that he was not the real Riku. The real Riku is back and I just do not see a need for Repliku to come back unless it is completely important or necessary to backtrack events...Xion had more of a connection with Sora, not in a friendship type way, but because of the memories that she held and she sort of had a bigger part in the connection theme of KH.

 

Edit: I think the scenes where it shows the characters at the end of bbs with roxas and them sitting on the clock tower and etc. I think that symbolizes the characters Sora's heart reached out to or clues of what he needs to do or who to save in the next installment..

It would be epic to have two Riku's in the party when selecting characters to fight with in KH3 but sadly Repliku was just a main character for CoM. Though it would be interesting, but highly improbable.

I agree. When I finished Sora's story I saw the credits and it showed Axel extending a hand to the Riku Replica so I thought what happened to him. When I played Riku's story, Riku defeated him(killed him) Guess that explains everything.

Well, good point, but maybe Repliku really isn't coming back. Like, he's gone forever. But I think Sora had more in common with Xion that Repliku.
