Which Female Celebrity Would You Want as Your English Teacher?

Earlier today, a poll, asking netizens to vote for female celebrity who best fits the role as an English teacher, has been drawing a lot of interest. The survey was conducted by online education community, Seven Edu, from September 27 to October 10, and 529 people participated in the poll.

Korean American R&B singer Park Jung Hyun (aka Lena Park) took home the title with 27% of the votes. Park Jung Hyun started her college education at UCLA, where she attended for two years in the 1990s, and later transferred to Columbia University and graduated magna cum laude in 2010.

Kim Tae Hee was a close second with 21% of the votes, and American TV show “Lost’s” Kim Yun Jin came in third with 12% of the votes. Korean Americans Han Ye Seul and Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany rounded off the top five with 9% of the votes. Jung Ryeo Won, Han Chae Young, Lee Da Hae, Wonder Girls’ Yeeun were other celebrities mentioned in the poll.

'Oh!' & 'Girls' Generation Complete Video Collection’ Certified ‘Gold’ by RIAJ

Girls’ Generation’s fifth Japanese single, “Oh!”, and “Girls’ Generation Complete Video Collection” have been certified “Gold” by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

Both “Oh!” and the “Girls’ Generation Complete Video Collection” DVD set have sold more than 100,000 copies each, earning the “Gold” certification by RIAJ. The accomplishment comes only two weeks after the single and DVD were released on September 26th, adding to the growing list of accolades Girls’ Generation has received in Japan.

Girls’ Generation will look to continue the success with their next Japanese single, “FLOWER POWER“, releasing on November 14th, and their second Japanese album on November 28th.

Jessica Attends ‘Pink Dream Day’ Store Opening for ‘Legally Blonde’ Campaign, ‘Pinking of Your Dream’

Girls’ Generation’s Jessica is currently attending the opening of a pop-up store named “Pink Dream Day”, the start of a campaign from the producers of the “Legally Blonde” musical, PMC Productions, to support those who have recently left school and have begun to enter society. This campaign, known as “Pinking of Your Dream”, will continue until mid-March of 2013. Proceeds from the campaign will go to “The Open Closet”, a non-profit organization.

Other members of the “Legally Blonde” cast were also in attendance at the opening. “Pink Dream Day” will be open for four days at the FRONTROW Flagship Store in Sinsa-dong in Seoul.

How do you feel about joining the musical?

Jessica: I have been cast in “Legally Blonde” again and this production touched me. It’s a very fun production. I am glad to be here again.

Taeyeon, from Girls’ Generation, still manages to maintain her idol image during sleep.

Several captures of Taeyeon sleeping has been caught making rounds on the internet with the caption “Taeyeon sleeping: Ideal vs. Real.”

~The 1st Anniversary of The KH13 Girls' Generation Thread~

 

It all started with me making this thread with TheApprenticeofKingMickey supporting me but left soon after. It is obviously something that not much kh13 members here knows about Girls' Generation and it was my wish for kh13 members here to know about these 9 wonderful individuals.

I've tried closing this thread countless times because no one post stuffs here other than TheApprenticeofKingMickey and I, but can't bring myself to do so. I've forgotten the meaning of sharing these wonderful things about SNSD and it nearly got the best of my negativity. Soon after the new years, I've decided to continue post more and realized that, it's not about getting more posts or replies but sharing to all of you about Girls' Generation. As a SONE and a KH13 member, I will continue to share and post things about them for you guys to read/watch/listen/view until the day I die.

Did I make you guys A Girls' Generation music Listener? A fan? A kpop fan overall? I don't know, but I'll continue on posting Soshi stuffs here with a positive attitude. =)

‘Invincible Youth 2′ to Record Its Last Episode on November 7th

The last recording of KBS 2TV’s “Invincible Youth 2″ will take place on November 7th, and the episode will air on November 17th. Sunny and Hyoyeon were confirmed as part of the cast for the show on October 18th of last year, and its first episode was aired on November 12th, 2011.

Sunny, who was also a part of the original G7 during the first season, left “Invincible Youth 2″ in July 2012 when the program became stable. Sunny was also busy with Girls’ Generation’s activities in Japan and with her musical, “Catch Me If You Can”. However, Hyoyeon remained as part of the cast and continued to entertain everyone with her light-hearted spirit.

“Invincible Youth 2″ will be ending due to the G5 members’ overlapping activities with the show’s recordings. The members were sad when they got word of the last recording day.
