the best thing about listening to a song in a language you dont understand, is that you can assume the singer is singing about anything

I have plenty of songs in Japanese and I don't listen to them because I pretend to understand them, I listen to them because I think they sound good.  Though I do check the lyrics to see what the song's about.

I love Japanese songs too!

I can barely understand the lyrics to English songs let alone any other language - if I like the way something sounds then I'll listen to it. When I used to be I to anime I'd check out the lyrics on animelyrics.com, or when I wanted to sing one. Nowadays I don't really mind it.

Pretty much just things from anime.  I have a good handful of songs, but the majority of my music library comes from video games.
