Now we all know that sora at first piggybacked rode on rikus ability to wield the keyblade given to him by Terra. Now according to Nourma sora was always destined to wield a keyblade. So is it possible that sora actually has a different true keyblade that originally chose him. It's just he uses the kingdom key. If you have any pics of what his true keyblade mightily like post it please!!

Roxas and Xion wield the Kingdom Key because it's Sora's keyblade.

So not sure about "true" keyblade but the Kingdom Key is Sora's.

If I understood right, even though Riku was destened to wield A keyblade, no one ever said it was the Kingdom Key directly. Sure he took it in KH1, but Sora's the one who the blade itself seemed to fashion itself after. I don't remember where, but I read once that the KK's definition was that it ties others people to its wielder or something like that, and that's not Riku, it's more like Sora.

he takes which ever keyblades near :D

well the funny thing is that sora's keyblade doesnt really seem to be fashioned for his style right? Riku's looks sorta like soul eater and the other keyblade wielders seem to have a keyblade that reflect their personality so why doesn't sora have a keyblade like that? well maybe it reflects sora's simplicity xD

One reason I think Riku should have had the Kingdom Key is because I think it fits Riku's color scheme more than Sora's. I mean, seriously, look at this picture-

True. Compare Soul Eater and Sora's color scheme's too:

His main clothing is Red and Blue like the Soul Eater. Maybe Nomura did that on purpose to show their connected. Sora has a Keyblade with Riku's color scheme, while Riku has a keyblade like Sora's color scheme.

Dose not explain Kingdom Key D.

Nope.

Nope.

And even thought the color scheme is similar to each other, the style of the blade itself fits the wielder's personality and style more. Sora is-as Xehanort said-A dull boy as well as his fighting style(Mostly based around melee combos and some magic), and Way to Dawn fits Riku's personality(Kinda dark, but can be cheerful and very friendly, but still serious) and his fighting style (Mostly special based, but dose include a few combo's)

Well, I think Soul Eater resembles Riku's Dark mode more. What I think Sora resembles more is the Kingdom Key D. Here's my proof;

I imagine sora having a really special looking keyblade like In a fanfic I read its gold black beautiful and has a crown necklace keychain

Thought the kingdom key was based on both Sora and Riku's clothes.

I always thought the that the shape of the Kingdom Key represents Sora's role as "the key that connects everything" as it's the most key like Keyblade

I've always thought that the Keyblade took it's shape from the wilder's heart, and I think I heard somewhere that the light that appeared when Riku fell into darkness and Sora got the Keyblade was Rikus heart. Sora literally touched Riku's heart at the moment he obtained the Keyblade so it's from was created from the contact of Sora's and Riku's hearts.

Keyblade's aren't supposed to just pop out of nowhere. They usually need an intermediary to appear and the form is usually based on that intermediary. For Riku it was the Soul Eater, for Terra it was probably the Wooden Keyblade. Sora's Keyblade should not have emerged out of nowhere, yet it did. Another reason why it 's so unique. I know this contradicts my own theory but maybe there's a way that both are true.

i guess it was a very touching moment for riku xD
