Assassin's Creed Movie Release Date

Posted

The movie based on Ubisoft's hugely popular video game Assassin's Creed, starring Michael Fassbender, will be released soon the 22nd May 2015, covering Memorial Day weekend. So far the project does not have a director attached to it, but we expect that to change very soon now that the release date has been confirmed. Hollywood is a little slow to start on these projects and who even knows if Assassins Creed will still be anywhere near as popular in 2015 as it is now (we'll be on Assassins Creed X by then for one thing). At any rate, we're excited to see whether Hollywood can make a decent video-game based movie for once.

This is going to take a while.

They are going to make Assassin's creed a movie? Is this a games-developed-by-Ubisoft thing, because they also did Prince of Persia.

Probably gonna be bad.

I have high hopes for this movie, I just hope they DON'T just take things from the game... but create a fascinating story that ties into the games story.... Or perhaps life through the eyes of a kidnapped test subject of abstergo. But either way it could be desmond as we know him in Assassin's Creed I-III or Mila Jovovich going through 5 movies focusing on nothing about the story except for 3-D visual effects and making it very bloody.

I hope that doesn't happen and Assassin's Creed will be a good movie
