Have you ever read a book in a different language from your own?

Japanese translation of Deltora Quest (which is originnaly Australian), as well as many mangas. And many books in English.

I've read manga and stuff that starts off in a different language but was translated.  I can only speak English and haven't done French in ages.

A little bit, but I read in Spanish kinda slow.....so I give up after a while. Same with French, I'll read bits and pieces I remember and after another minute I'm lost. @w@;;;

Nope...I'd like to, though.

Well I've taken 3 years of Spanish so I've read a Spanish textbook if that counts?

I've read japanese manga scans of Kirby manga on the Kirby Rainbow Resort website before if that counts.

 

Actually, I own a few books that teach japanese in them.

My german KH manga collection, I translated some, but I don't understand completely.

My english short-novels. I fully understand these.

This:10 book completly, +1 not fully.

Not a book entirely, but I have looked at tons of Japanese text I understand nothing of.

Only my spanish textbook.

that's cool it took me like the whole weekend and the next night to read the last one... must have taken you ages!!! congrats that's an awesome achievement

 each book took me about a week, but that's not 24 hours a day reading ofcourse
