This thread will contain all future poems I may write in the future, and the title will have the most recent poem stated within it.

 

 

 

So I'm not very good with poems, but it is something that is easy and relaxing to do when I just don't want to write fifteen paragraphs for something else. It's an easy way to keep myself writing at least once a day. Regardless of my skills, I hope you all enjoy what I share here.

Motivation

 

 

I don’t want to do this now.

Perhaps I will later.

I already did it yesterday.

I won’t be able to do that again for a long time.

 

Quite common phrases

You hear from others who

Try to accomplish something,

But just can’t seem to have the energy to.

 

There is something funny

About motivation, however;

It never goes away,

Even if you tell yourself otherwise over and over.

 

It won’t come by itself, though.

All it takes is for you

To actually do something.

You have to dedicate yourself to your work.

 

Just say out loud

A simple phrase,

“I can do it.”

You will be pleasantly surprised how much that can do.

I honestly didn't read it because I'm determined to be done with poetry for the rest of eternity, but I can tell you're on the right track. What you have here is something tangible which, regardless of quality, is better than having nothing.  Keep at it.

For someone who didn't even read what I wrote, I must thank you a lot. I love it when people say more than "That was good." with my work. It's really annoying when people do that.
