I've been working as a manga artist for 2 years now and am soon going
to publish my first manga chapter, I have been practising a lot and
think my work has come on a lot.

 

last night i drew a picture of sora using the art style from my manga, Below this i will post the image, it is also in the fan art place in drawings. please tell me what you think of it thanks...

Thanks for the feed back i will post a coloured version when i make a copy of my drawing just in case i ruin it by accident

Maybe 4-5 months, i need to re plan and fix stuff i don't like then find a publisher but i'll post a topic and let you all know when

It looks good. The shading is well done and I love the hair. The things that bug me is his hand and the size of the keyblade is a little small. Also, he looks a little fat.

Thanks for being honest! Tbh the fatness and keyblade are annoying me too but all i can do is make sure my next sketches don't maintain the same errors

I might try and re draw it. I havn't drawn anything for over 2 years. Maybe I'll start over and make new drawings :)Keep them pics coming. I think I'll use your pics for inspiration

No problem. Just trying to help. The shading really is amazing though. Same with the others. I can tell with practice you'll have some amazing art.

Its good... BUT, your proportions and angles are all off. The Kingdom Key looks tiny compared to Sora, like a long knife, and the way it's shaped it looks like the top half is closer to you, the bottom obliviously looking farther. Unless this was intentional, that's a big problem. then his hand. it's a little malformed and draws the eye from the rest of the piece, and like Xaon said, he seems to have a little bulge.  Other than that, it's good.

I haven't taken a look yet. BUT. As a note to all artist on the forum: I work in the concept artistry profession, and if you think you got some chops and skill, go ahead and send me a few samples. I may hire you for a job, but you have to be REALLY good. And a note to Reckoning: If you take a little time and are interested, send me a few samples, minimum 5, max 15.
