I mean they did it (an re: did it) with Final Fantasy? So what would you like in an MMO KH?

For me this would get me to buy it:

1.) Visit all previous worlds and new ones. 2.) Unlock a lot of old, new and custom Keyblades that you can find in a treasure chest or mend using items (similar to Ultima Weapon)

3.) Character customization (including Keyblade Armor) 4.) The MMO wouldn't be cannon to the actual story, instead have it`s own.

5.) Form teams.

6.) Fight classic villains and enemies as well as new ones.

7.) Have classes of characters (similar to Terra, Aqua, and Ventus.

Anyway what would you want in a KH MMO?

(most of you would probably hate it.)

Well Square Enix is totally capable of making MMORPGs, for example Fantasy Earth Zero. (Or was it just Square? Idk)

I think a KH MMO would be amaziinnngggggg. Yes, I would DEFINITELY want one. But knowing Disney and how OVERLY child-protective ToonTown Online is (despite me loving that game, you have to admit they baby its users too much) would make it way too childish to the point where everybody would just not want to play it.

I love the old Disney, but man, with Clubpenguin and ToonTown and anything Disney tries to make chat-friendly, it just ends up way too childish and secure, taking the fun out of everything.

But yeah, overall if Disney stays as much out of it as possible pertaining to user interface and PVP, I think it'd be great.

As long as they stayed true to the gameplay id be happy about it pvp being able to chose our side and alot more non disney  worlds if it was about the keyblade war thatd be cool

I'd like to see an MMO but I get the feeling that the upcoming browser game is the closest we'll get to such a thing.

As Ducky put it, Disney would have a huge influence on how the community would behave so I really can't see it happening.

I could see this being very much like Phantasy Star Online...which to me, would be awesome.

Of course, Square would have to put a lot of work into this. FF: XIV did poorly in the beginning, and any intervention by Disney may ruin it all. So if this were to happen, I would expect Square to put a heck of a lot of effort into an MMO like this.

What would make it different from other MMOs?

Disney Characters and...that's about it...

MMOs are tough games to make, they won't be successful unless they really stand out from their competitor.

Just by being Kingdom Hearts it would already have a pretty good deal of people who are interested or at least willing to try it out.

Not nearly enough to keep it running. MMOs aren't a one and done sort of thing. You have to not only pay a huge amount of money for development, but also for upkeep.

I doubt money is an issue for these companies...

It kinda is, especially since Sony has been losing money virtually everywhere for the past two or three years now, especially in music.

They'd probably charge how much they're charging for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. A firetrucking rip-off.

Well their buddies Disney and Square will help them out!Right guys?...*cricket*...Guys?
