10,000 years after the Keyblade War and after many wars and battles through out the Universe and Universes every world in every Universe finally knew true peace each world was in a time of abundance all was good and all were happy the Keyblade Wielders along with other groups of Heroes through out the Universe finally saw the time of there task of protecting the worlds coming to an end finally they could all live happy and war free lives no longer would they have to watch comrades friends and family die before there eyes because of endless violence or so they thought until that dark night that dark and cruel night in the year 4725 on July 18th the hopes and prays of any who wished for peace died on that cruel night at first it began like a small breeze that all would consider normal and pass by but quickly this small breeze grew and transformed into an endless storm on that night a group of seven heartless and cruel men appeared from the shadows bringing with them nothing but destruction on that night all universes fell into decay as those seven crushed the one thing that all universes counted on above all others they destroyed the light of all worlds they destroyed Kingdom Hearts.

 

Along with the Destruction of Kingdom Hearts many Keyblade Wielders lost there power to use the keyblade and many worlds fell into darkness the events of that night have since become known as the Night of its Beginning the night of darkness's new beginning that night was 200 years ago the year and since that night the universes have known nothing but cruelty with only a little light surviving the destruction of Kingdom Hearts and the original seven responsible now all dead no one is shore what shall happen next but finally after 200 long and painful years heroes are beginning to rise again the question is with so much darkness and so many enemies will these new heroes be enough to save the universes from there dark endless fate and will they be able to restore the light we all once loved so very much.

"Deus! Where are you?" Deus' office was a complete wreck, the entire room was black with ash as Deus sat on top of his desk with a burning piece of paper. "I'm fine Shiro." "Sir, all of your work... It's been burnt to a crisp." "Yes it has, but I guess this means I no longer have a reason to hold back. Without these papers as a distraction, I'll be able to take part in this war personally. But first..." Deus climbed down from his desk and walked over to the destroyed window/wall, looking down on the fight between Kuro and Zero.

 

Both masked men were engaging in fierce combat, striking each other in turn, one after the other. "Zero!" "Heh." Both masked men jumped at each other at the same time and pierced their blades into each others right shoulders. "Aiming to tear off my arm?" "I can say the same to you." Both men backed away from each other, Zero quickly drawing a detonator from his pocket and hitting it. Kuro turned and watched as the base to Deus' headquarters blow up and start to crumble. As Kuro turned back, Zero had disappeared from sight. "He got away." Kuro looked back at the building before disappearing in a flash of Lightning.

 

~Roughly Ten Minutes Later~

 

Xante walked back to the training area where he left Blake, only to find Deus standing with his arms crossed and Blake no where to be seen. "You think you could fool me? I know you better than you think you do Xante, you can't beat me by playing dress up!" Deus suddenly dashed forward with lightning speed and held Xante up by his throat and against the wall. "Deus... what are you... I was in Wonderland..." "Lies! You were on the battlefield, you dressed as BK201 and pretended to fight Zero in order to fool me." Deus then tugged on the collar of Xante's shirt to see his right shoulder, but found that there was no sign of any injury and simply frowned. "Where did you hide it? Where's your injury?" "Get... off..." Deus' eyes narrowed on Xante angrily as they then locked eyes, an aura appearing around Xante. "I said GET OFF!!!" Just then, Deus was blown back by a strong vortex of wind and lightning, staring at Xante bewildered. (From the time he used Element Drain on Saeko? I didn't know it would grow to this extent just by draining such a miniscule amount. Xante's Unnatural Other Element is slowly awakening, however, it'll be a while yet before it's at the required level to fight with.) Xante breathed heavily as he looked up at Deus with eyes filled with hate. "Who the hell do you think you are? Treating me as if I'm merely a toy that you own. Well, let me tell you something Deus, you couldn't be more wrong! I'll beat you, you think your ten steps ahead, but you're only two steps in front. I'm getting closer and closer, and when the time comes, I'll surpass you and leave you to rot in the dust!" Deus smirked at Xante's resolve before hearing a clapping. Both men turned to see Kuro. "BK201, you're alright?" "My right shoulder is hurt, but I'll live. Also, I go by Kuro now." Deus stared at Kuro in thought. (The man I'm seeing in front of me is definitely the real BK201, but he has the same wound as the fake that I spotted fighting Zero. Could it have been my eyes deceiving me?) Deus then looked back at Xante before crossing his arms. "From now on, I want the two of you to stay together at all times if possible." "Actually, I have an appointment, I shall be back soon though." "What sort of appointment?" "Assassination contract." "I see, take care of it quickly and hurry back." Kuro nodded before disappearing. "Why do you want me to stay with him? Are you suspicious of us?" "Of the man who just said he'd surpass me? Very." Xante smirked. "Fair enough."

 

~Meanwhile~

 

"Gale Dragon Blaze is not to be thought of as an enemy." Out of no where, Zero had arrived at the scene between the resistant members. Zero then walked to the middle, standing between Branch and Robert. "Gale is currently being hunted down by both sides, for him to make a move against either side would be suicidal. For now, we should forget about him entirely." "Exactly who are you?" From behind the crowd, Saeko's voice could be heard as she came into view. "I am Zero." "As in nothing?" "Exactly. By showing you nothing, I am Zero. Therefore, from someone who has nothing to show, anything could happen." ​"That doesn't make much sense." Zero sighed as he looked across at Branch. "I'll explain later. Anyway, my forces have just toppled Deus' hidden lair in Twilight Town. With this, Deus, and all of his forces, will either take refuge on a new world or, what I think will happen, he will temporarily join forces with Gilgamesh." "So, you've managed to get them all together in one spot." "Precisely. My spy on the inside has informed that the captured members of the rebellion are also being held in the very same building. I believe that if we pool our remaining forces and skills together, we could mount a rescue attempt and put a large dent in Gilgamesh's army."

Gale looked to shizune with a perplexed look until he gave a slight sigh "a way to clear my name huh thinking of everyone we currently know of theres only one person who could have enough resources to frame me as well as i was" gale suddenly crossed his arms as a serious look filled his face "i cant believe im saying this but shizune we may have to take action using the plan you recommended earlier we need to infiltrate Gilgamesh's base"

Gilgamesh looks to Kou and then to ravio rather surprised that an other element of the life element actually existed gilgamesh then looked to the questioning ciaro "The life element one of the very few elements considered to be forbidden by law even amount the dark organizations they are considered far to dangerous especially the life element an element which can control the border between both life and death an ability that can give life just as easily as it can take it it can give life to that which should never of had life and it can take life away from that which should always of had life even for an immortal facing off against a life element would be greatly dangerous if a life element got to close and caught hold of an immortal there immortality would add up to nothing and within a few seconds they could drop dead for that reason regarding this one i shall for once follow the law what i say now will also be taken into account for the other resistance fighters that have been captured they are to all be executed by hanging in two days time at dawn they shall be used as an example for any remaining resistance fighter who thinking fighting against us is the way to go they may also be useful to draw out the others who have high bounties on there head they may come to try and rescue them in that time we shall take all of them down so spread the word and let everyone know of the execution it shall be an open house here in Avalon all welcome to watch as the resistance hangs as for what to do with them in the mean time bounty hunters i leave them to you do what you wish with them just dont kill them and make sure the life other element is well bound" with the gilgamesh returned to his office

as zero spoke an ice blade formed in branch's hand while a stone blade formed in roberts "just showing up like this and handing out this kind of information" "We thank you for this information and we thank you for destroying an enemy base but" "this is all to questionable you hide your face with a mask you show up out of nowhere claim to be strong enough to destroy an enemy's main base so easily and then you tell us to ally with you" "In a time of war actions like this are far to questionable how do we know your not just another enemy attempting to lead use to our deaths by leading us right to the enemys gate only to abandon us" "show us ligament prove to your alliance" 

Shizune sat there, letting it somewhat sink in before she got a satisfied look on her face. "Hmph, of course it would have to come to that eventually." she said "There's is a high chance that the person framing you is from the dark organization but how well will confront that person is something I don't really know since we don't know what he actually looks like." Shizune frowned "And I don't really know everyone's true abilities there either. Getting into the base wont be that hard now that I think about it because besides bypassing a few security cameras, there are some places where nobody walks through when I explored around the castle so maybe I can teleport us to one of those places and we can work from there." Shizune's gaze went down to Gale's bandaged wound. "But are you going to be alright? I really don't want anything happening to you while we're there."

Kou and the rest of the members bowed. 

 

"Yes,my lord."Kou said as Gilgamesh retreated to his office. Ravio stared dumbfounded. He,a life element? He could never,no way,no possibility even! His thoughts vanished as Kou seemed to give him the darkest of smirks. "I'm going to have so much fun with you. I'll be sure to bring my video camera when you hang."Kou said as he seemed to chuckle to himself. He then turned to Roxanne and Kaspar. "You two!"He said. "Go around the worlds and start announcing the hangings! I'm sure nobles from all over the worlds would simply adore to witness such a marvelous moment."Kou said. Roxanne's eye twitched as she rose her hand to eventually slap Kou when Kaspar grabbed her,stopping her. 

 

"We will do,after all,there's nothing that we like more than to see them suffer."Kaspar said smiling. He glanced over at Roxanne. "Come on Roxanne,we will go all over the worlds we know and spread the word."Kaspar said as he started to pull his sister away. Roxanne gave Kou one last glare before walking away with Kaspar to send the message across the worlds. Cario stared and shrugged,

 

"I guess I'll go spread the word around too."Cairo said. Tartarus was staring with scared eyes. 

 

"(Two days? Hanging? Out of all punishments?)"Tartarus thought as he bit his tongue out of anxiety of just the thought. "(This is less time that I expected. How am I suppose to help with this type of limit?)"Tartarus thought. His thoughts were interrupted when he suddenly heard the struggles of the guards. He glanced over to the side to see the guards having a struggle against Ravio who was moving around wildly. 

 

"Stay still you brat!" But Ravio refused as his glowing yellow eyes started to water and tear up.

 

"I don't...let me go!!!"Ravio demanded as he started to move around,tears falling from his eyes out of pure fear. "(I don't...I don't want to die...not yet!!!)"Ravio thought. His body suddenly tensed. "I don't want to die!!!"Ravio screamed as the shadows beneath him spiked up into the air. He suddenly went into defense mode,kicking at the guards and moving around savagely as the shadows wrapped themselves around the guards. Kou's eyes widened. 

 

"That little ****!"Kou glared,raising his staff as it started to spark and flicker with electricity. Tartarus' eyes widened.

 

"Wait!"He yelled. "Don't do that it'll kill him!"Tartarus said about to reach to Kou when suddenly he was gripped by the wrist by Cairo. As he glanced down at the girl she seemed to give a glare like never that Tartarus had received before,which made him shiver. It was only until he heard the screams of agony from Ravio that his attention was taken back. Kou had jabbed his staff right into Ravio,surges of electricity mounting up and traveling through his body painfully until every nerve twisted and flinched from the charges. "Hey stop that!"Tartarus yelled. 

 

"What?"Kou asked. "I'm careful not to kill him."He said as he pulled his staff back,Ravio falling to his knees as bruises started to form across his body. The guards roughly picked him up from the ground. "Take him to solitary confinement and chain him up till the teeth,if he's as dangerous as Gilgamesh says I am not taking any chances whatsoever."Kou said as the guards dragged the young boy away. Tartarus stared as Kou walked over to Cairo and held her hand,only to glance at Tartarus. "You better watch how you act dear Tartarus,otherwise we would think that you are against us and against Gilgamesh's will."Kou hissed with a glare as he and Cairo walked away to spread the announcement of the hangings. Tartarus stared at space as he rose his hands to his chest and held them tightly together.

Zero looked at Robert and Branch, seeing that there swords were pointing towards him before a sigh could be heard. "I figured as much. Very well, I'll allow one of you to see my face, but my identity must remain confidential between me and that person. After that, I will lead you to my men and you can verify their worth for yourselves." Zero looked between Robert and Branch, before crossing his arms. "Alright, which one of you is going to take charge?"

 

~Meanwhile~

 

Xante looked at Deus before sighing. "How much longer are you going to sulk? I'm sure the assault wasn't that bad." Deus looked over at Xante with a glare. "Alright, maybe it was that bad." "Why are you worried? I thought you saw me as someone to surpass? You almost sound like you're someone who works under me." "Well, for now, I don't have nearly enough power to take control of this world just yet, let alone defeat you." "Smart choice. So, what are you going to do to get stronger?" Xante smirked. "I'm going to have a little talk with Shiro, see if I can make my Unnatural Element grow faster." "That might work, if he's willing to listen. Knowing Shiro, he's not going to lift a finger unless it means he gets something in return." "Then I'll have to use my mighty powers of persuasion." "Good luck." Xante then walked off, giving Deus a small wave. "Wish me luck." "Whatever." As soon as Xante left, Deus punched the wall. "Damn that Zero. Only I could pull something as daring as that off, he must be the me of this time, he must be."

Branch and Robert looked to Zero for a moment until they agreed to his suggestion Robert then spoke to Branch "Branch you go with him I'm new to allot of these's faces atleast of you go with him you might recognize him unlike me" "Agreed" as Branch and Robert agree that Branch should be the one to go with Zero both men have there swords vanish as Branch looks to Zero "alright lead the way but word of advice try anything funny and I'll freeze you inside a pillar of ice from which you'll never escape" as Branch spoke the surrounding area instantly grew intensely cold as Branch signal how serious he actually was towards his statement

Gale sighed to Shizune remark as he looked to his side "whether or not i'll be alright or not doesn't matter no matter what we need to get into that castle" just then Gale took out a paper he had bought while the two had gone off to get supplies as Gale opened the paper from inside a small pamphlet fell out Gale stared at the page for a second until he took it up and began to read as he read his eyes widened in complete shock "No way it can't be they've been captured?!" Shizune looked to Gale confused until he began to read the pamphlet "Notice to all interested on the 3rd of October the public execution of Leona Corona, Hei Hamlet and Ravio Verona shall take place in Avalon at five pm all are welcome to attend to watch as three rebels hang by there necks and learn not to stand against the darkness" as Gale finished reading the pamphlet burst into flames as flames surrounded his entire body burning away all the bandages shizune had only just placed on him only to reveal all his injuries were now somehow healed "Gilgamesh I'll melt you down you over sized piece of gold scrap metal!!! Shizune were attacking Avalon tomorrow during the execution i refuse to let anymore resistance members die!!!"

In the ground levels of the base each individual captured was put in a specialized cell for them. Leona,due to her unnatural strength,was forced into a steel re-enforced underground room with steel walls and floors. The only entrance was a hatchet with 2 locks. The rest was only 4 walls. No windows. No nothing. Just darkness and enough oxygen for her to stay alive. Even with the tightly sealed hatchet you could hear the muffling roars and bangs of Leona hitting,clawing,biting and slamming all around the cell trying to get out. For Rei it wasn't much of physical strength,but magical. For him they had to wrap him around in rope and covered his ears and eyes,and then locked him in a simple cell. If he couldn't see he couldn't try to escape. Ravio was the worst off. He was sent to the deepest cell within the base. It was a room with no windows,and the walls were made out of cement,the door was made out of steel with 4 locks on it. Ravio had his hands chained behind his back. His feet were chained to the ground. Over that he wore a restraint jacket,well attached. They even seemed to force a metal mouth mask on him,as if fearing that he would bite the life out of them. He was in solitary confinement,and to make sure that he couldn't use his shadow element,there were lights all over the place,making as little shadows as possible. The only noise that he could hear was his own breathing,the chains moving along with his body,and the air vent above him. The look in his eyes said it wall. He was forced into slavery,and for once that he was free,his freedom only lasted merely a few days before he was imprisoned again. And here he was,awaiting execution,for being a run away slave,for trying to make a difference,and appearently,for being something that not even he knew about. His eyes watered ever so easily as he shook his head. 

 

"(Life elemental,)"He thought. "(What kind of BS is that? Even if I am I don't know how the hell to work it...it's not my fault that I got it...they can have it but I don't want it.)" Suddenly there was the noise of the heavy door opening. He glanced up,his hair covering his eyes slightly as they glew in the shade provided. There Tartarus walked over to Ravio,kneeling down to his height. 

 

"Don't worry,I'm not going to hurt you."Tartarus assured. Ravio didn't seem to convinced. Tartarus extended his hands towards Ravio,to which the young boy backed away as much as he could against the wall,as if wanting to melt how he usually did in the shadows. Tartarus wrapped his hands gently behind his head and there was a 'click' sound. Tartarus then carefully took off the mouth mask,setting it on the ground. "Don't be scared. I'm on your side."Tartarus said in a whisper. 

 

Ravio blinked. "...then free us."

 

Tartarus anime sweatdropped. "I can't. I'll get killed."Tartarus said as he stared. "But I will help you as much as I can." He then took out a worn out book. "I came here to bring you this."

 

Ravio stared with disappointment. "I was hoping for someway to escape,not a fairy tale before my imminent death..."

 

"Idiot. This book will be able to shed light on the thing that is the life element."Tartarus hissed as he opened the book,flipping it to a certain page and setting it so Ravio could read. "I can't get you out,it'd be impossible,we'd be killed and set. But I can try to delay it and I can give you information that might help you. One way or another you're the life elemental,and it might as well save your life. Please read this,it's the least we can try ya know."Tartarus said. Ravio stared strangely. This guy seemed so sincere,otherwise he wouldn't be risking his neck even talking to him. 

 

"...alright."Ravio said. Tartarus nodded. 

 

"Right."Tartarus said as he stood up. "I'll go ahead and warn Branch,maybe he can figure something out." With that Tartarus left,the door closing. Ravio stared,slight hope in his eyes that they would get out of this afterall. He glanced down,sighing to himself. 

 

"Chapter 12: The Life Element."

Shizune grimaced a bit and noticed something of interest as Gale picked it up. She sat there in silence before being taken  aback by the sudden news. "W-who the hell would be interested in seeing an execution?!" Shizune said as Gale finished read the pamphlet, which was soon reduced to ashes within seconds. She sighed. "Well I rather you calm down there. I know you're upset but we will get them out of there, but we can't just go barging in either. One wrong move and we could end up captured, and knowing the dark organizations they probably wanted us caught in the first place. I'm confident that they would have a lot of security at the site of the execution so it's better for us to keep a leveled head and think carefully on our move for tomorrow." Shizune scooted until her back touched the wall and rested her head on it. "This could also possibly be an opportunity to clear things up with them about your little traitor dilemma."

Zero stared at Branch before nodding. "I understand, follow me." Zero then took out what looked like a detonator, everyone immediately panicked. "Calm down. It's not a bomb." Zero pushed the button before tossing the detonator on the floor. After a few seconds, it turned into a door and Zero walked over to open it. "In here, it'll just be me and you." Zero held the door open for Branch as he walked in, Zero shutting the door behind him. "Only I can open this door, so this really will be a private conversation." After the door closed, Branch realised that there was quite literally nothing with them in the room, just darkness. "As long as you don't touch the wall, which are really far away from here, then you should be fine." Zero then hit a button near his neck and a releasing noise could be heard from the mask. Zero took his mask and placed it on the floor next to him. "It's good to be out of that thing." Branch could only stare as he got the feeling that he'd seen him before. Zero's hair was golden and his eyes were a sky blue colour, his face was young, that of someone who was still in his teens. "Judging from your reaction, you've probably met my future self already. He's been a real thorn in my side for a while now, so that's why I want to take him out of the picture." Zero smiled. "I'm the Deus of this time, nice to meet you."

 

~Meanwhile~

 

Deus sat down at a desk in his new room, sorting through the notes he'd salvaged from his old base. "Is this seriously all I have left? The only data I have left are the things on Xante as a child." Just then, Deus watched as Xante flew through one wall and then straight out another, Shiro walking through the hole that was just made with his hands in his pockets. "You want me to share my powers with this guy?" "I don't care either way, do whatever you want." "Okay then, I'll just kick his teeth in." "Just don't use "that"." "Got it." Shiro then followed after Xante as he waited with his keyblade. "Come on, just give me a little bit of your Wind and I'll be set." "Give it to you? The only way you'll get my power is if you take it from me." Shiro's shadow then turned into his blade, resting in his hand. "Defeat me if you can." Xante then dashed at Shiro using his lightning and clashed blades with Shiro. "As you wish."

 

 

 

"Everywhere, darkness... What happened to me? I don't remember. I was fighting, and then I disappeared. Nate? Where are you now?" In the darkness, Blake stared out in confusion. Suddenly, an image of Xante appeared before him. "You're Nate... aren't you? You look like him, but... something's different. The Nate I knew when I was younger... had more presence... but you're... not even there, are you?" Blake gasped slightly as Xante began to fade. Haru then turned around to see an image of Deus. "You're not from this place... who are you?" Deus' began to raise his hand towards Blake. "Get away from me! I don't know who you are! Stop it!" Blake then shot a lightning beam through Deus and he vanished into dust. "Blake..." Blake looked around, hearing the voice. "Who's there?" "Blake... Help me..." "Akane?!" "Blake..." "Where are you?" Blake then watched as the entire area transformed to the moment where Akane died by *Gale's* hand. "No! Don't do it Gale!" Blake could do nothing as he watched Akane die. Then, Blake looked over his shoulder to see Akane standing behind him. "Blake... You have to get stronger... To help defeat Deus, you need Xante. With him by your side, you'll be unstoppable." "Akane?" "And also... you'll need him." Blake then stared as Akane pointed behind him, towards an image of Zero with his mask on. "That man is the key. Find him, and with Xante, you can beat Deus." "What are you talking about? I don't understand." "We'll meet again Blake, but when we do, we may not recognise each other." "Don't go!" Blake then suddenly felt himself falling, everything turning from black to white. "Time to wake up."

 

"AHHHH!!" Blake sat up suddenly on the shores of the Destiny Islands, confused as to how he arrived there. "What... just happened?"

Branch looked to Zero an icy aura emitting from his body as he stared "So your Deus's past self and your out to kill your future self huh rather stupid why not just kill yourself if you do that the law of the paradox effect dictates if you die there will be no you to grow up and be Deus you die he dies killing yourself would save allot of time and lives so why not do it or if your unable..." As Branch spoke a number of Ice Spears appeared behind him each one with a spear head sharper then any sword "I'll do it for you!"

 

Meanwhile

 

Gale looked towards Shizune as she spoke "I'm already presuming this is a massive trap by Gilgamesh but i cant let this opportunity to enter Avalon and take him down pass by and i cant let him kill the others either and your right it may be a chance for me to clear my name and for the two of us to take our chance to join with the resistance but if no opportunity to do so appears we'll remain in the shadows during this operation to free those Gilgamesh has captured even if i end up dead trying to free them so be it but like you said we'll need to be careful entering Avalon even with the public execution there will most likely be guards standing over the entrance so to hide our presence from them it would be best if we use these" suddenly a large panel appeared behind Gale as he placed his hand on the a nearby wall and from the panel two black coats could be seen Gale noticed Shizune stare confused "These are the black coats an ancient organization once wore to hide themselves in the shadows and to keep there presence completely hidden we shall use them for the same reason upon our entry to avalon"

Shizune stood up and walked over to the display of black coats and hesitated before grazing her hand on one of them. "Woah, they're still in good condition after all this time and no dust." she said as she took it off the panel with care and draped it her shoulders. She raised an arm over half of her face, trying to appear mysterious but it didn't work. "Even if it turns a out to be a trap, these will make finding us harder." Realizing that she was just starting to look silly now, she placed her arm down. "Speaking of getting into Avalon and the public execution.....what time is it now? It's kinda hard to tell in a place like this and I don't have a watch on me." Shizune crossed her arms and grumbled. "It would be quite unfortunate if we show up late."

to Shizune's words of arriving late Gale gave a playful smirk as he responded to her words "Nothing wrong with the hero's showing up at the last minute to save the day gives a good feeling of suspense wouldn't you say" as he spoke in a playful tone Gale reached out taking one of the black coats from the panel Gale held the coat for a moment before putting it on over his normal cloths. Gale wore the coat with the hood down for now and as he zipped it up he looked to Shizune "The page said the execution would take place at dawn right now its 2 am so we have exactly 5 hours before sunrise it's best if we use this time to strategies our method of attack and how best we enter Avalon with these coats we should be able to enter the front gate unnoticed by the guards quiet easily and move towards the location the execution shall be taking place once there we'll be relying on your knowledge of that castle to figure out the best position to place ourselves in order too make our move to help the others when the best opportunity arrives so i'm going to ask you to tell me as much as you can about the lay out of Avalon now while you can Shizune use your flames to give a 3D layout map if you can"

 

Meanwhile

 

a shadow like form appeared on the ground of a dark and what appeared to be an empty chamber moving in a strange fashion the shadow slowly began to raise from the ground until it took the shape of a human that human was the man who referred to himself as Shadow. As Shadow began to walk down the dark chamber at a steady pace a voice approached him "Well, well, well look whos back good old shady boy i figured the fire elements would of left your shadows no place to hide to think your still with use but whats this were the string boy did he get cut up by some tasty steel or was he burned down by some nasty flames" as the voice spoke shadow ignored it and continued to walk "owe come on now shady boy dont go ignoring me like that that aint nice thing to do you know" once again the voice spoke as he did this time shadow gave a slight response "That aint nice thing, try learning some proper grammar scrap metal"  as Shadow spoke a man appeared behind him a be crazed look in his eyes as he held a blade to Shadows back "what did you call me?!" "you heard what i said or do you need me to write it down for you so you can try and read what i called you or is your head so filled with scrap that you never learned to read" "Why you!!! Die!!!" "You first" Shadow quickly turned calling shadows from the ground to strike at the man behind him but the shadow spikes where quickly dodged as the man jumped high into the air then turning his arm into a katana like blade the man attempted to strike down at Shadow until a large bellowing voice roared through the chamber knocking both me back "Enough!!! Shadow, Cobalt enough or do you intent for me to involve me in your bickering?!" both Shadow and Cobalt began to sweat slightly as the voice spoke until both me gave a slight response "We're done sir" "Good. Now then Shadow come to me" "Yes sir" slowly Shadow began to walk away from Cobalt as he did Cobalt glared towards him "We'll finish this another time Shady boy" after walking for a moment Shadow found himself in a large open area of the chamber he was in with in this section of the chamber stood a lone man standing over a pile of books and maps slowly Shadow approached the man while slightly sweating upon reaching the man Shadow spoke "Sir Mason you called for me" "Yes Shadow. Tell me how did the test preform" "Sadly sir i believe we may of acted to soon after Gilgamesh's attack Gale was still injured from previous battle and was unable to show his true potential however Shizune showed not only is she already currently strong enough to beat one of my shadow clones but she also has much potential" "I see and then what of Trace you were to take on Shizune while he was to fight Gale but yet i only see you standing before me now and you said Gale was unable to show his true strength so i highly doubt he could of beaten Trace what happened" "I disposed of him" "Owe? and what might be the reason for doing so?" "Trace was beyond help sir he seeked only to kill he was attempting to kill both Shizune and Gale had i not killed him first the two flames could very easily be death right now" "I see if that is the case then you have acted within the best interest of our organization well done Shadow. Now then i know you have just returned but i have another task for you i'd let another do it but this job requires your skills to succeed" "Sir" As Shadow questioned Mason he was handed a single page with on the page was the information was the information of the public execution "Gilgamesh intents to hang the lot" "Yes and according to our inside information theres more to this then is being revealed" "what do you mean?" "One of the resistance fighters up for hanging happens to be an Other Element" "I can see why you might take interest in that but to send me to this" "The Life element" As Mason mention the element in question Shadows entire body trembled at the mere mention of a living Life element existing "Si-sir are you sure" "Yes the first life element to appear in over 600 years and he's up for hanging huh history always seem to repeat so very dull" "Wait sir you dont intent for me to stop the execution do you" "No no of course not i have a feeling the little flames and the resistance will deal with that no Shadow your job is to stop anyway like Deus or Rick from interfering understand" "Yes sir" "Good also there will be one other joining you on this mission" "Sir?" as Shadow questioned Mason a figure that looked to like Gale appeared behind Shadow slowly shadow turned and smirked "A now i understand sir alright then shall we go Shard" "This is where it all gets interesting"

Shizune tapped her finger to her forehead and hummed. "Hmm, i'll try to make it as best as I can from memory." She said and snapped her fingers. Before her appeared a three dimensional version of the castle with some detail put into it to make it seem more realistic. "Since the execution is going to take place in this area." she said as she traced a circle with her finger; the area lit up into lighter black flame. "There are some areas nearby that we could hid in.  Also, if i recall, there's a lack of security cameras in these area and nobody goes by there so we can just take them out quickly and wait in the shadows." Smaller areas around the area she highlighted on the map glowed lighter as well. "This is where they are located." 

looking at the 3D map of the castle Shizune had made Gale examined it carefully as he examined the areas Shizune had circled "it'll be near impossible to get to them before there brought out for there hanging if we even tried to break into the castle to free them we'd just be signing ourselves up to join them inside the castle hallways we'd be far to enclosed to do any real fighting and its the enemies strong hold so they'd have home advantage atleast if we wait from them to be brought out we have the advantage of an open sky with that i can use Firebird to get up high and release a new power i've been working on Flame Rain it should set most of the castle alight and distract a large number of Gilgamesh's men long enough so we can move and free the others but after that we need to think of a means of escape from what I've heard theirs a special magic placed on Avalon that stops anyone from freely entering and exiting by using corridors of light or darkness even element gates wont work and if were in the middle of attacking theres not a doubt in my mind Gilgamesh will order the main gate to be close hum" slowly and carefully Gale once again began to examine the map of avalon until he found what he was looking for quickly Gale circled a specific spot on the map "There it's a river drain on the main wall of the castle and its near the spot of the execution its most likely bared to stop people entering and exiting through it but that should be no problem for us we can just melt it and escape through it then but i wonder thats a few things marked and though through but i cant help but feel im forgetting something"

"Don't you think they would spot you in the sky if you did something like that?" she asked. "I mean spotting a random black object in the sky would seem suspicious unless you intend to fly high enough to remain unnoticed."  Shizune looked over at the spot on the map where the river drain was. She crossed her arms under her coat. "Forgetting something? Like what?" Shizune asked and went silent for a moment as she started at the map, still fairly flickering. After a minute, Shizune sighed. "Do you mean how we're going to make it out with people like Xante there? Sure, most of Gilamesh's men are going to be worried about the castle on fire but not all of them are going to leave the execution area. And your friends that were caught might not be in a good condition to fight from being locked up for so long. If not that, then I don't see where you're getting at." 

Gale looked to Shizune but shook his head to her thoughts of what he had forgotten "No i've already taken those facts into consideration what where both forgetting is the biggest factor of all" Shizune looked to Gale rather confused as Gale put his hand to his chin and began to speak "the members of the resistance who haven't been captured theres no way there going to sit by and let Leona and the others hang Branch Saber Blake more then likely there coming up with there own rescue plan i just hope it doesn't clash with our and cause so much trouble that it gets us all caught" as Gale finished a worried look filled his face as he began to think to himself "(theres also the fact we could face outside interference from other dark organizations but for now worries like that i shall keep to myself)"

Shizune stared blankly at him before remembering that there were a lot more people in the resistance. She smacked her palm against her forehead. "Ah! I forgot about them!" A few small figures appeared on the flame map, representing the resistance members that she remember seeing from her last encounter with them. "If that were to happen, then it would probably be out of our control and we would have to rely on luck to not get caught. Who knows how they'll react when they see you again. Plus, the dark organizations are trying to catch us anyways." Shizune noticed Gale starting to look worried. "Hey, don't worry about it. I may sound overly optimistic about this right now, but we'll get your friends out successfully." 

“Um…is Branch here?”Tartarus suddenly asked at the rest of the group turned to see him. He stood wearing his usual outfit,however in his hand remained a piece of paper with big red words that spelled ‘ANNOUNCEMENT’ on it. He smiled a bit,only to frown seconds after. “I need to tell him something involving the resistance members.”Tartarus said as he then glanced at Robert. “Oh hai,been a while since I last saw you…”

Suddenly there were loud trumpets being played in the plaza of this random world. In the middle of the crowed stood Kou and Cairo.

 

“Attention,everyone!”Kou yelled as he smirked,waving his staff. “If you haven’t heard yet,there shall be a public execution at Avalon of three members of the resistance! You are all welcome to come to watch and remind yourselves why we should never try to go against the dark organizations. The execution begins at dawn so remember to get there early to get good seats. On the other hand,invite friends and families,heck,bring your kids too. Need to learn early,right?!”Kou said with a slight laugh at the end of his statement as the crowed heard it all. Cairo simply stared as she then waved a small flag representing the flag of the dark organizations.

 

“Viva the darkness.”Was all Cairo said. If there was any good qualities to Cairo,the ultimate one had to be that she was obedient to the end to those she considered strong.

“...Can you guys hear me?”Ravio asked,his voice echoing across the empty room. Seconds passed and he sighed to himself. Of course they couldn’t hear him. They were being tortured and kept in cells of their own far away from him. “How are we soppouse to get out of this situation?”Ravio muttered to himself as he hung his head back,staring at the ceiling. Reading the entire chapter had only confused him more than how he was in the beginning. “There has to be a way for us to get out before we get those nooses around our necks.”Ravio hissed as he closed his eyes. It then hit him,a small smile appearing one his face. “Wait…that’s it.”

Zero looked around, staring at the ice spikes. He then took a glove off and poked the end of the spear, his finger starting to trickle blood. "I see that your ice is quite strong... If you kill me, it won't change anything, the older Deus will still exist. Let me explain, if the world that Deus came from was the Alpha world, the first, then we are now in the Beta world. This world is the result of Deus' meddling after he travelled back through time. He is me, and yet, he is not me. Get it now? Killing me will do nothing for you... Not that you can while we're in this room anyway." Zero snapped his fingers and the door leading out suddenly vanished. "If you kill me now, you'll be trapped here until the oxygen in this room runs out." Zero sighed, putting his hands on his hips. "Anyway, as for the reason I hide my face. If Deus found out that I was his true other self, he would kill me without a second thought. But right now, he's hesitating because he thinks his younger self is... someone else." Zero looked over at Branch and smiled, somehow looking familiar in some way. "I should also tell you one thing. An enemy of ours, Xante, If I have to earn your trust, then I'll tell you a secret about him." Zero looked away, turning his back to Branch. "The dark Other Element of Lightning isn't Xante..." Zero then suddenly flicked out his hand, shattering Branch's ice with black lightning that came in from all angles. "... It's me."

Branch looked to Zero neither surprised or intimidated by his sudden actions "(So that's how it is. Its a pity though if he had let me kill him i would of had the pleasure of taking Dues's head off twice)" looking towards Zero with a dead serious look on his face Branch turned his back to Zero as he did what looked like an ice door appeared by the doorway Zero had vanish earlier "If that's all I'll be leaving first, I know your secret now and I'll keep it to myself as in the terms of the agreement and on behalf of the Resistance for now we will accept your help, But remember this Zero just because I'm accepting your help does not mean i trust it" Just then the ice door in front of Branch burst open opening an exit in the space Zero and Branch were in as this happened Zero looked to Branch rather surprised "What did you really think i'd come in here with out making sure i could get out" A bone chilling stare came from Branch as he glanced back to Zero and then left the room.

 

Meanwhile

 

Robert looked to Tartarus upon his arrival and instantly formed a stone blade in his right hand "You!" Robert ran at Tartarus ready to strike him down until a thick ice wall blocked his path "What..." Quickly Robert turned to see Branch appear "Branch what are you doing defending the enemy" "Im not defending him he just has something i need to see" Quickly Branch moved over to Tartarus and took from him the page in his hand quickly reading the page Branch gritted his teeth as he handed the page to Robert "Is what that page says true theres going to be a public execution tomorrow?" Branch says this as he looks to Tartarus 

Tartarus quickly nodded as he glanced back and forth from Robert to Branch,the last thing he wanted was to get his ass kicked by Robert,again. 
 

"Yes."Branch said. "The news are being spread by my siblings and subordinates across the worlds,known and unknown,as far as the news can reach of it. They are taking this rather seriously as well."Tartarus said as he started to think of everything he knew currently. "They will be executing them infront of a large crowed apparently. The charges are disruption,betrayl against the dark organization,revolt,among others. It is also worth to mention that the security is tighter than for usual executions. All three are being held in two of the deepest floors of our prison. They won't be fed to make sure that they are weak enough to negate any attempts of escaping in their hour of dying. The security within the execution would be even more restricted due to a complication that has surged unexpectedly from one of those who are to be executed."Tartarus explained. 

 

Rider was shaken,three young kids,well,two young kids and a cat were about to be executed! "We have to save them!"Rider said without thinking much about it. then he paused,thought,and spoke again. "Wait,what complication?"Rider asked. 

 

Tartarus looked down. "It appears that one of the prisoners has been found to be a life elemental. Due to some testing and some characteristics it has been confirmed however they don't want to take any chances so they are executing him and he is being locked within the solitary confinement behind a 10 ton steel door with four concrete walls and lights in order for his shadows to not attempt anything."Tartarus explained once more. 

 

"Shadows?"Rider asked. "You don't mean-"

 

"Yes,"Tartarus interrupted. "The child of this is Ravio. The young slave that had joined you last in this operation. We are to bieleve that he was originally a life elemental all along but due to the experiments done to him the shadow element was created to him and it shrouded his true element. We were shocked when we found out however. People of power had agreed on the executions of all life elementals years ago due to their dangerous and forbidden nature,as you know,because life cannot simply be given and taken away. It is simply not right. Lord Gilgamesh seems to think of this also and will see him to be executed personally. Though that's not the thing I worry about the most."Tartarus said as he glanced to the side. "though it is a slim chance of 1 to 100. If this friend of yours is as drastic at decisions as you say he is,I have a feeling that he might attempt something and get himself killed,but that's besides the point."Tartarus said as he glanced at Branch. "Anything else you would like to know?"

Lindi looked up from her private musings at the sound of the door to her cell being unlocked. She had been brought here after Noah, her mother and she defeated the empowered dark hound by Elder Guards. From her mother's tight expression, it was evident she knew what Lindi had done and so did the other Elders.

Coming into her cell was her mother, Inazuma Laron, and a middle aged man in dark clothes and armor. Lindi's blood ran cold as she recognized the man.

"Mom." The young Outsider managed to greet. "Warlord Callet."

Callet was one of the most feared warriors among the Outsiders. He had spent most of his youth as an executioner for any "insider" the Elders considered a serious threat. There were several high ranking members of the Dark Organization that mysteriously went missing from the worlds and have a a small memento from them appear in Callet's belongings. Now, he was a leader among the Elders and generally advocated for brutal measures against enemies of the Outsiders. And traitors.

"Ah, Lindi." Callet said smoothly, almost like a friend. "Let's talk about what you did."

Zero watched as Branch left, showing off as the "strong/cool guy" which only earned a frown from Zero. (He can threaten me all he wants, it doesn't change the fact that with my Other Element powers I'll be a great help to the group.) Zero stared into the darkness of the room before picking his helmet back up and putting it on. "I guess for now, I'll be the one to do as he's told. If I'm a suspect, then I need to prove that I truly mean well." Zero shut his eyes and looked up. "... Blake... I need to find you before Deus gets his hands on you. If Branch knew that you were as much of a threat as I know you are... he would surely kill you. But!" Zero then smirked with a hint of laughter. "Deus, I know something about you that not even I know. Because you "forgot", I will win. You wouldn't know. It would be impossible for you to know. It's because you don't know what happened in your final battle that allows me to out think you. Because you are me... and I am you. I know everything about you." Zero walked out of the room, it collapsing behind him and ending in dust. "Well, now that we've gotten that out of the way, shall I bring my men here as support for the Rebellion? Please make a decision quickly, there are other things that I must attend to." 

 

~Meanwhile~

 

Blake sat with his back to a tree, hiding under the shade as he watched the ocean waves of the Destiny Islands. "... This war... Everything is going to hell... And I don't even know who to fight for any more." "Fight for me." Blake's gaze flicked to the left to see Deus sitting on a rock. "You..." "So, have you realised it yet? The fact that I'm not from this world." "... You knew... You knew Akane was going to die in battle. You knew that I was going to suffer like this..." "Last time, Akane died because she was on my side. She got in the way when I was fighting Gale. She saved me at a time where I thought I was going to die. This time, she died for Xante... Or so it would seem." "What do you mean?" "Akane's death was... Irregular. Gale not only killed Akane, he did it directly. Akane was not in the way of the target this time. This time, she was the target." "If all you're going to do is reminisce of a world where I never belonged, then stop." Deus smirked. "You make it sound like you were there... Valentine." "I have a first name! Don't treat me as if I am a stranger! You know exactly who I am, don't you?!" "I may know something." "Tell me... What is your name... Your real name." Deus paused for a second before turning away. "I abandoned my name... Long ago. It's been so long, Ive almost forgotten it... Almost." Deus' hand suddenly became electrified as he walked over to a separate tree and carved into the trunk "13.V.". "Your name is 13 V?" "Look closer... And when you've figured it out, then you'll know why I despair." Blake stood up and walked over to the tree trunk, but no matter what, all he could see was 13 V. He then put his head up against the trunk and his eyes widened at what he saw. From a different angle, the 13 looked like the letter "B". "... B... V... Impossible... It's not possible..." "It's the truth... During my last battle with my fated opposite, I gained total control over Lightning, light and dark. I don't remember the end of the battle since I took a heavy blow to the head, but I know that I had won. An Other Element who controls both Light and Dark is branded with Golden hair." "Then... I'm going to... I'm going to... I'll fight Xante and one of us will end up dead." "Don't kid yourself. You already know who. If you didn't, I wouldn't be here." "I'll... kill... Xante... And become... Deus." "That's right. One day, you'll become me."

A crowd began to fill the court yard of Avalon and within the very center of the yard stood a large stone stage upon the stage forced onto there knee's were Leona and Ravio while Hei was tied by all four legs and his tail upside down the three sat silently beside one another as they awaited the time of the execution to arrive all the while a huge crowd began to fill the court yard within the crowd was a man and a women dressed in black coats moving swiftly and unseen by all except for one another the two hooded figures were none other then Gale and Shizune getting ready to preform there rescue plan. Upon reaching a point in full few of the execution stand Shizune and Gale stopped moving and Gale spoke to Shizune "We'll wait for Gilgamesh to appear before we start I feel allot safer knowing he location then strike while his location is still unknown"

 

Meanwhile

 

Just outside of Avalon prepared to do anything to save there friends was the group of Branch Robert Lancer Saber Zero and Rider hid themselves within the boundaries of a nearby cave waiting for Tartarus signal to attack "remember Tartarus said he'd give the signal with the sound of a trumpet so nobody move till you hear that trumpet and remember stick to the plan our friends lives depend on it"

 

Meanwhile 

 

Gilgamesh emerged from the main entrance of Avalon in his usual golden armor slowly Gilgamesh approached the execution block and as he did Tartarus appeared upon Gilgamesh's arrival everyone began to get ready to move 

Shizune watched as people kept flooding past the two of them into the courtyard. Why would so many people come to this? Are they just as twisted in the mind or something? She was still impressed how nobody suspected them to be suspicious with those coats on. Shizune looked to see Gale's friends from the resistance on the stage they set up for them. She looked down, feeling sorry for them to be going through all of that before glancing to Gale as he said something. Shizune was silent for a moment before pulled down a bit on her hood. "If that's so then he better show up soon. It just pains me to see them like that up there for another second."
