So, as you know, we are getting very close to this year's E3 2013 event which lasts up to 3 days. I just thought that since we're about 10 days away from April it would be a good idea to make this sort of thread. Plus the fact that time is going by incredibly fast.;Anyway, yeah this theread is where we will discusss any speculation of games or consoles that could be shown, the relase dates. and the actuall conferences that Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo will have.

They should revive the Mother series by making Mother 3. That would make Nintendo win this year's E3 if you ask me.

Didn't they consider making Mother 3 available on the eShop for 3DS?

What I want to see at E3:

-KH1.5 New Trailer with new footage

-SOMETHING to do with Versus XIII (or possibly XV if it's been renamed)

-Uncharted 4 (though not likely because of TLOU)

-Persona 5(again not likely..)

-FFX/X-2 HD(aren't they coming out in the summer or something?)

The official date for EA's E3 event has been announced:

 

EA has announced via a press release that its E3 2013 press conference will take place on Monday, June 10th. The event will start at 1pm PT and promises plenty of surprises. Ubisoft confirmed earlier this month that its press conference will take place on the same day, but a time has yet to be announced.

E3 main conference schedule is up:

Microsoft Monday June 10th @ 8:45AM

Sony TBA

Ubisoft Monday, June 10th @ 1PM PT

EA Monday, June 10th @ 3PM PT

And here we are. We're a little over a month until... dare I say it? The Holy Week for Gamers. AKA E3. As such, we've hit that pre-E3 news slump. Official announcements will be scarce; we may get a few little announcements, but nothing big until E3 itself.

 

There will be a TON of rumors, though. Believe me, I was duped last year. Hook. Line. Sinker. Anyone recall last years Kingdom Hearts HD collection? The one with KH 1, 2, Re:CoM, 358/2 Days, and BbS? And it would be multiplatform? And it came from a source that revealed something that turned out to be true shortly before? Oh, man, that got me pumped. And theeeeeeeeeeen, well...

 

It's the sad truth. Rumors spike before E3. So, some advice from a guy that learned the hard way: Don't look too hard for news this month. And don't believe ANYTHING unless it's official. Be patient until the big week arrives.

 

There's a lot I'm looking forward to this year, though. Nintendo's new strategy is... strange, IMO, but it ultimately could be a better way to get the news out. We'll just have to see. Plus I can't wait to see the new Smash Bros. in action.

 

I'm hoping Sony has a good press conference this year. I hope they give me a reason to want to buy a PS4 sooner rather than later. Also, no Wonderbook, please. Stuff like that is not for a big E3 press conference, especially if they run the demo longer than they should.

 

Microsoft, well, I'm not an Xbox kinda person, but I don't hate it or anything. There's a lot of rumors flying around now about the new console, chiefly that always-online stuff. I won't believe it until the official information is out, but if it's true, then they're playing with fire. One only needs to look at the SimCity fiasco to see how wrong it can go. But, like I said, there is no official info about it yet.

 

All in all, just hoping for a good E3 this year. Last year's was lukewarm, also my spirits were dampened by the fact I believed a stupid rumor. Be vigilant, folks.

They did it last year (and may have done it before that but I didn't watch them back then) so it's very possible for them to do it again.

It's on a show they have called Game Trailers TV or something along those lines that they showed E3 last time.

Well I believe that Spike actually broadcasted the Xbox one reveal... So it seems very possible to me that they could do an E3 coverage. Don't quote me on that though.
