Ummm how?If Sakurai would play favorites on anything it'll be Kirby since he created Kirby

 

the whole he buffed Palutena because Kid Icarus Uprising is just speculation man

 

Heck we don't have the game yet and I was just joking about her being Meta Knight

Well i could see him playing favorites with her too, considering how he made Uprising and was proud of it. Not to mention it did so well and basically revived the series, and is a hit title for 3DS. Not to mention he went all out with her trailer, even making part of it in the style of Palutena's Revolting Dinner.

 

And, while i don't neccessarily think Palutena is OP, i have to admit, a few of her moves do look a little OP.

Yeah he was proud of Uprising but it's not a franchise he has created,unlike Kirby which he was in charge of for a long time.

True, but still, i'm pretty sure he basically feels like it's one of his own franchises by now since he added so many things to it with Uprising, he expanded the world of Kid Icarus way beyond what was in the original 2 games. Besides, who else is gonna pick up Kid Icarus as a franchise at this point? No one bothered to make a sequel for it for 25 years, it might aswell be Sakurai's at this point, especially considering he can literally go back and make another game for it at any time he wants.

 

True, i agree with this. Not to mention, alot of people thought most of the newcomers were OP, and then we got the Smash 4 demo and saw that it wasnt the case and that they were balanced among the roster.

Yeah. Turns out he's actually one of the very few characters you can't just pick and do good with. Mega Man requires tons of practice and time.

The Dark Emperor can make certain status changes based on the fighters color. An example would be powering up Red colored characters.

I'm guessing that means Blue colored characters get their stats brought down then.

Megaman from what I've seen requires to get used to cuz he pretty much controls exactly like in the Megaman games but Smash moveset.....which is fine by me as I'm a huge Megaman fan

Ok, i think we're gonna get more than 6 outfits/palette swaps per character this game. Also, ive never seen NES Open Golf Tournament, so i thought at first his outfit was just to represent the American Flag.

Pac-Man's Up Taunt is the Namco Roulette. Sakurai specifically notes that Namco characters from the 1980s cycle through.

See? There's a variety of characters. Huh? One of them looks pretty recent.

I'm guessing this is a hint at Chorus Men. One, the art style is the same. Two, the character we're looking at is Taiko from Taiko Drum Master. If the name isn't enough for you to guess what it is, Taiko Drum Master is a Rhythm based game, as is Rhythm Heaven. Also both titles were made for the Wii.
