(Alright, lads and lasses. Here we go.)

The yellow eyes of Heartless Shadows were the only thing visible in the dark cave. There was a bigger Heartless in another chamber that had been terrorizing a local town, the perfect target for an aspiring hero. A perfect location.

Suddenly, the Heartless Shadows sensed a heart in the cave with them. They began to swarm for this treat, but were met by the crackle of lightning and flames. Soon, not even the light of Heartless eyes illuminated the darkness. A mechanical light snapped on after it was set up on a wall. Below it, where the light pooled, a poster was put up. It told those that read it to a place to go and a time to be there.

The place, The Old Mansion in Twilight Town.

The time stated was one word. Now.

The figure that put the poster up stepped back to look at it. It was there for the bold and skilled to find. If they could reach it, they could help save the worlds. Of course, this poster and others like it were for those the figure had missed. Personal invitations had already been sent. It just remained to see who would come.

The figure stepped fully out of the pool of light and was gone from that world.

Standing in the main foyer of the Old Mansion in Twilight Town was Theek Shalma. He began to tap his foot, trying to contain his impatience. There were many things to be done, but he couldn't put off what was going to happen. It was too importance, too big an opportunity. He only hoped his waiting would be rewarded.

Celas was watching how Master Thomas made Ven's heart return to his rightful place until the group who was going into the realm of Darkness was decided."Alright, so it's Luna, this girl, Elenar and myself, right?" she nodded in agreement. "We should get going then. I think Aqua waited long enough"As Celas got close the the portal of darkness, a black mist began to surround her whole body and in a couple of seconds her outfit was replaced by a black coat just like the Organization XIII had."Let's move, our missing Keyblade Master is waiting for us. The portal will remain open for a few minutes in case another one wants to join us"Once Celas went inside the portal her thoughts began to drift towards the mysterious Lacuna."An apprentice of Master Xehanort? for some reason I have my doubts. What was his plan for this girl...and...is she able to wield the Keyblade? For the time being, I will keep close tabs on her." the young Keyblade Master thought to herself.

For the first time in his life, Cody broke down and cried as the realization that he was reunited with his parents finally hit home. Literally. Still weak to try and stand up, he laid there as his parents hugged him wholeheartedly. As the initial excitement started to wear off, the full scope of what just happened started to catch up to him as the memories of his other entities seamlessly integrated with his own.

His dad wiped away a tear and smiled. "We've always waited for the day that we can meet you again after all these years, Cody. How's the progr-"

"Wait... How did you guess my princess' given name?" he asked. His father's smile only widened.

"That's the name we gave you, son. Looks like your assigned princess gave you back your real name."

His mother laughed, amazed by the sheer coincidence. "C'mon, son. Let's go home! Tell us all about your time in the program, I'm sure your dad would love to hear the stories of your lifelong mission. We got cookies!"

Cody let off a chuckle as another curaga was casted by his dad. "I'd really love to mom. But I still got another mission to do. Gotta bring back another keyblade wielder to help the fight against Xehanort."

"So, it's not over just yet. Get back in there and finish the job. Don't you dare ruin the Guardian lineage son!"

Cody struggled to get up at first, but with the help of both his parents he was once again back on his feet. They made their way to the makeshift memorial for the recently 'fallen' Guardian as his father pulled up his son's keyblade and returned it to him. He finally noticed the armor that his dad was wearing and what he had just said. "So... you're a Guardian too, dad?"

"Yup. Once. I'm retired now, so to speak. About time that I settled down and started living life for myself" he explained to his son as he looked over to his wife. "And to bring a smile to a very lucky, special someone." She blushed as they both shared a kiss, Cody putting his weapons and boots back on himself before turning around. "So, where did the others go?"

"Off to the Castle from the looks of it. If you hurry now, you might be able to catch up to the rest, and that girl" his dad advised. "I've never seen anyone cry with that kind of sadness. You should know better than to break a girl's heart, especially by doing that son. How could you?"

"Luna..." Cody whispered as he started to walk away. "Ok then. After all this is over, I'll come back." As his parents waved goodbye to him, he stopped and turned around. "So, dad. What was your Guardian name?"

His father chuckled. "I suppose you have the right to know. But first, answer me this: What's your 'official' designation?"

"Nocturne, Zero-Four."

He grinned. "Call me... Shadowhawk One."

They both gave each other a nod and a smile before parting ways, at least for now.

Luna nodded as Elenar begrudgingly decided to help her. "This really shouldn't take long" she notified the Savage Nymph, "but I've been wrong before." Clad in full keyblade battle armor, she took a deep breath before looking around one last time, and walked through the portal in the Dark Meridian, where she saw...

Zion and Xion leapt after Luna, but not before Xion looked at Sora and Kairi.

"Where is Namine?"

After they answer, she hurries after Zion and Luna, leaving the others behind as she brought her cloak out from her magical hip pouch, throwing it on.

Due to her status of One of Pure Light, Zion just flew into the corridor with no hesitation.

Elenar sulked as she stepped through the portal right after Celas.

"How did I get sucked into this mess?" She thought.

Riku and Sora gave Xion a worried look.

"We don't know." Sora answered her, still sounding a little weak, but getting better. "We thought Namine and Roxas would come back, but we haven't seen them."

"I wonder if Ven had something to do with that?" Riku mused, looking at the still unconscious Keyblade Wielder.

As Xion rushed through the portal, Sora, Riku and Kairi called their good byes and well wishes after her.

As Ventus's Heart was reintroduced to his body, he shot up into a sitting position, gasped, then collapsed again. Even was by Ven like a shot, using a scanner on the boy.

"It's alright." Even proclaimed. "Just some system shock. He'll be out for a little long than we thought, but when he awakes, he should be fine."

Ienzo nodded.

"Excellent work, Master Thomas." He complimented.

Lacuna watched Ven's heart return, then grinned. Things were falling into place. With all the rest of the Dark Realm expedition through the portal, Lacuna dived through.

In the Dark Realm, Lacuna took in a deep breath.

"Ah, fresh air!" She exclaimed.

"If you're a roach." Elenar grumbled.

Master Thomas smirks again as he folds his arms. He then walks towards the computer and looks down at the ground below. He is thinking about the future, and if what the robed man said is true. He then speaks to Ienzo by saying. "Now then, we now have to focus on finding Aqua... And hopefully Sarah.." Said Master Thomas, talking about the current plan.

Just as the dark portal to the Dark meridian closed, Cody explosively burst into the room that everyone was in and managed to dislodge the heavy doors that had sealed the place. He looked around, noticing the all too familiar trio and some of the other former organization members. "Princess Kairi...... Sora... Riku." As he continued his assessment of the personnel in the room, Master Thomas managed to catch his eye. "Who are you" he asked before turning to Ienzo, "And what did I miss? Where did Luna go?"Meanwhile... in the dark meridian.Stepping onto the soft dark sands in full keyblade armor, Luna looked around to see if Aqua was anywhere in the immediate vicinity. She eyed her bracelet and noticed the faint glow as she felt it pulsating rather slowly. "She's not too far from here." Luna notified the group, "Maybe if we follow the coastline here, we'll find her. I can feel if we're getting closer to her by this bracelet. The faster it pulses, the closer we are to her." Following the coastline, she kept her head on a swivel trying to spot any threats to the little team of rescuers as they carefully navigated the dangerous realm.

Once outside Celas looked at both Lacuna and Elenar."Come on Elenar, this is not a bad place to be, it's very peaceful in here"Luna explained how she felt Aqua was near and how she was able to know it."Alright, if you're sure then you can take the lead." She said to Luna while following behind her.Even though the Dark Meridian was in the Realm of Darkness, not many Heartless showed up there, but it couldn't hurt to be careful.Celas put the hood on so the others couldn't see her face, she was not able to stop thinking about the reason why Lacuna insisted in going with them."Why? What is your purpose to come with us?" she thought while looking at Lacuna, the shadow of the hood hiding her face and her emotions from everyone else.

Ienzo nodded to Master Thomas's observation about what shoulder happen next.

"If all goes well, we could begin searching for Sarah, though if we don't have some way to track her, we may lose people looking for her." He observed.

He paused, then his face took on a surprised expression as he smelled a familiar scent. He turned as Cody burst in.

"How are you-? That can wait. Your friend has gone to the Realm of Darkness to find Aqua."

Lumiara followed Cody in and leaned against a wall.

Elenar grudgingly looked at the land scape and had to agree that it was rather serene.

"Still kind of creepy, though."

Elenar was behind Celas, while Lacuna had sped up to be right behind Luna. As she walked, she bent over backwards to look back at Celas, her head upside down. She grinned and winked before righting herself.

As the Dark Realm Expedition traveled along the shore, the rounded a large rock outcropping to find a figure clad in a Dark Coat with the hood up sitting on a rock. The figure shifted to look at the new comers.

"Hello." A deep, male voice called out, sounding friendly.

Master Thomas looks on at Ienzo with a sorrowful look on his face. He can tell what Ienzo means about Sarah. He looks at Cody and looks back at Ienzo. He then speaks to Ienzo by saying. "Then the search for Sarah could take up for a month, that may take too long... I no way to track her yet, I'm afraid.." Said Master Thomas, talking about Sarah.

"I hope you don't mind that I brought a few guest. They were interested in...the girl you met some time ago. You remember her, right? The Blue haired girl?"After saying that, Celas walked to the shore and sat down on the sand, closing her eyes and letting the calming sound of the waves relax her while her thoughts drifted away.

Out of the corner of his eye, Cody noticed the unmistakable pink color of Lumiara's hair, but thought nothing of it as Ienzo delivered the news. "So... I guess I'll sit here and wait then." He looked over to Sora, Riku and Kairi, smiling as they bickered with one another. He kept a close eye on Kairi and everyone else, making damned sure that no one would pose any kind of threat to her, but relaxed a bit knowing that both Sora and Riku were around to do the same.

Feeling the pulse getting stronger on her bracelet, Luna was feeling confident that they were getting closer to Aqua as the cloaked figure suddenly greeted them. She smiled and said hello back as Celas conversed with the figure. "We could use a few pointers as to where she may be." Luna added, continuing to look around and making sure nothing was trying to sneak up on them all.

Meanwhile, Zion and Xion merely stayed with Luna, Keyblades out as silent guardians. They kept quiet, moreso talking to each other using body language and eye movements.

"Things will be moving faster, now that more Lights are being found." Ienzo said. "Though, we will do what we can."

He looked over at Even, who already looked lost in calculation. Nodding to himself, Ienzo looked at Four.

"Now we have time for your explanation."

"Everyone's stealing y'all's look, huh?" Lacuna murmured to Elenar, then scouted away.

The Savage Nymph gave the mysterious girl a glare then looked back at the man in the Dark Coat. She could see a little bit of a mouth under the hood. Also, a blond mustache, maybe goatee as well.

"Luxord?" She muttered.

The man looked at Celas for a time, then nodded.

"I...think I remember you." He said. "Yes, you visited before."

He paused a moment.

"If you are looking for Aqua, she is not here. She went looking for something for me. She hasn't come back yet."

Near the end, his voiced started to sound worried.

Master Thomas nods at what Ienzo says to him. He begins to think about the events that have happened. He is wondering if they are somehow connected to the events 300 years ago. He then speaks to Ienzo by saying. "Say, Ienzo. I've been having a feeling.... The events that occured today.. "The Purge of Light", and the "Ragnarok"... Do you feel like they are connected to what happened 300 years ago? It seems that the "Raganrok" may be inevitable..." Said Master Thomas, thinking about events.

Cody was speechless with Ienzo's question, answering by only giving him a blank stare. "I... I don't know how I'm back actually." he replied in a shaky voice, "All I remember was... nothing. Just pitch black. Utter nothingness. No sound, no sight, no sense of feeling, nothing at all and yet you know you exist. It... thinking about that now, that's pretty scary. If that's really our fate when our time comes, then... Well, I won't be looking forward to it."

"If you're wondering how he came back, there are some details I can give." a voice boomed from above. Cody looked up, only to see his dad crouching on the broken window sill and hopping down to their level. His matte black armor was eerily similar to Cody's, but they both acknowledged the fact and the symbolism. Cody's dad turned to face Ienzo, the trinket that saved his son's life nestled in his left arm. "This thing here did the work." he started, pointing at it. "Honestly, it was by sheer chance that he did what he did here on this world. Had he done it somewhere else... there would have been no way for him to come back."

He looked over to Cody. "The old geezer told me during your time in training that when faced with not so good odds, you had a knack of using your heart as a weapon." Cody cracked a small smile as he replied back, "So I'm not the only one to call the master that." His father nodded, chuckling a bit as he continued. "Well, a heart was never meant to be used as a weapon. Doing that wuold be like shooting a hollow glass arrow with that rile of yours. It'll destroy it from existence, so he decided to form a counter-measure for that and conjured up this thingy. Told me that it 'captures the dust from a disintegrating heart and pieces it back together', whatever that means." He held the trinket up for his son to see, and Cody noticed a small, pink glowing fragment on the wooden base inside the glass dome. "Those would be your happy emotions" his dad informed him, "I'm assuming your assigned princess had something to do with this? On a side note, I don't remember having it glow that brightly. It was as dull as a rock the last time I checked. Nice job suppressing that, son. However, you gotta live a little, 'ya know? Let this fragment indulge a bit. Let it grow. Feed it with love, lots of love and I can easily promise you that if you have to weaponize your heart again, well...let's say that I wouldn't have to worry about losing you permanently. A little bit love can be a powerful thing, more powerful than the darkest darkness.Using a fraction of a percentage of that love to directly feed your rifle will result in a beam unlike anything you will ever imagine. Been there, done that. There's a reason why a huge chunk of mountain is missing in the Keyblade Graveyard. The only downside is that the beam turns pink..."

Cody stood there, eyeing the pink fragment of his heart. "Kairi..." he whispered, mesmerized by the sight. He didn't feel any different, so it was obvious to him that the fragment was completely unnecessary for him. At least, until a sharp pain pulsed in his chest, causing him to drop to his knees, grunting as he clutched where his heart is. "I heard that, son." his father whispered to him as he kneeled besides him. "But that's the Princess' name. Now I can only imagine what she did to you to seed and nurture this fragment in you. You never had it during training, but think further. There's a certain girl out there who really loves you. I only saw her for a minute, and even I already knew she cares deeply about you. C'mon, don't leave her like that. Take this fragment back into your heart, and let it go. Don't hold back. Show her what you're capable of doing; who you're capable of being." He playfully punched Cody's shoulders, winking as he looked up. Cody smiled. "You're right dad. It's not right to break a girl's heart like that."

Cody's dad chuckled. "That's my boy. Now get this fragment back in your heart and find her."

Meanwhile, in the Dark Meridian....

Luna was saddened by the new information. "Well... can you give us a few pointers as to where she may be?" She was concerned that her bracelet was failing at its job. The only thing she is certain of is Aqua's direction, but needed specifics to narrow down the search area. "All I know is that she's in that general direction." she notified the cloaked figure, pointing down the dark coastline. "And if I may ask, what did you ask her to look for?"

Edited by Javelin434

Celas glanced at Elenar and smiled.

"He is not Luxord, he is someone far more important than him"

She the got up and walked back to the group.

"Luna is right, perhaps you coud give is a few pointers and explain what is this "something" that Aqua needs to find" Celas said to the man in the dark coat.

Ienzo listened to Cody and his dad with interest.

"Fascinating." He murmured. "With the right motivation, the Heart is capable of so much."

He rubbed his chin, looking a little distant. He then chuckled.

"'Ragnarok.'" He echoed. "Interesting choice of name. I wonder if they know-"

Ienzo's aloud musing was intrupted by Donald Duck and Goofy running in.

"Sora!" They both yelled in unison.

"Come quick!" Donald said.

"The Castle is under attack!" Goofy finished.

Ienzo's face hardened for a moment. Aeleus had gone to Disney Castle had gone with Oswald, and they hadn't been heard from yet.

Riku and Sora took off through the door. Goofy and Donald tumbled after them. Kairi paused a moment, smiled at Cody, then followed her friends.

"My memory." The man in the dark coat told the group. "I've been slowly losing it since I came here. Aqua has been helping me keep what I have, but still some leaks out. She said she thought she could find a way to get it back. Now she's gone."

"More important?" Elenar thought, puzzled.

Lacuna giggled.

"She should have realized that more than Heartless live in these parts." Lacuna stated, the joviality in her voice not matching up with her words.

Elenar gave Lacuna another glare. That weirdo was not helping. Neither did the man in the coat when he nodded.

"I've heard something moving further inland." He admitted. "Clicking, like bones on stone. It hasn't come down the beach, though."

Master Thomas looks down at the ground below the window. He suddenly clutches his head, and receives a vision. in his vision, he is seen being struck down by a mysterious figure with long silver hair, taking place on Destiny Islands, shown in the Darkness. As the vision ends, Master Thomas is in shock. He begins to think in his head with the following words. "What the... This vision.... Is it a sign of the.... Future? It can't be... Unless, am I to die in one month? The strange thing is, Destiny Islands seemed to be in the Darkness... Could it be? That the words of the robed man are foretelling a Dark Prophecy?" Thought Master Thomas, mentally thinking of his vision.

"Both of them are right" Celas was looking directly at Lacuna. "there are other things living in the deepest parts of the Realm of Darkness than just some puny Heartless. I've seen them"Celas crossed her arms, a serious look on her face."You think Heatless are bad? Or the Unversed that showed up more than 10 years ago? Not even the Dream Eaters from the Realm of Sleep are that bad, but these creatures..."For a brief moment a memory from the deeps of Celas's mind surfaced but she quickly pushed it away."We must hurry up, not even a Keyblade Master like her would be strong enough to fight a creature like that and I don't think Master Xehanort would want for a Guardian of Light to be destroyed before the fight between the 7 Lights and the 13 Darknesses."Celas looked at the man in black."On another note, I have news from the Realm of Light. I am not sure if you remember but apparently the Data you hid inside Sora was finally found, the one who found it was the newly addition to the ranks of Keyblade Masters, Riku." she said with a small smile on her face."Anyways, I think it's time to move, we must find Aqua" Celas placed her hand on her chest and bowed slightly at the man in the black coat. "It was good to see you again Master Ansem, I will come again once I have the chance and perhaps I will bring Aqua with me so we can restore your lost memories."

Ienzo listened to Cody and his dad with interest."Fascinating." He murmured. "With the right motivation, the Heart is capable of so much."He rubbed his chin, looking a little distant.

With Cody's happy emotions back inside his heart and unrestricted for the first time, the Guardian noticed nothing different until Kairi smiled at him as she left. He felt his face getting warmer as his dad noticed him blushing, and immediately called him out on it. "Ha! Look at ya!" he grinned as he punched his son's arm again. "Gimme a break, dad!" he replied, trying to hid his face as he looked down. His dad started heading towards the door. "I'd stay and help, especially to get you to open up to that girl, but this is a protocol that I can't ignore. You know this as well, but I'll be stepping in to fill your position. You just focus on that girl. Got it?"

"Understood... Dad." Cody snapped back, giving his father the salute exchanged only between Guardians.

"If anything, call me Shadowhawk One. Take care, Cody!" and with that, he exited the door to assist in defending Disney Castle.

"You're never a 'former' Guardian..." Cody muttered to himself as he returned his attention to Ienzo. "Any way to get me to wherever Luna is at?" he asked, a tone of worry clearly evident in his voice for the first time.

Meanwhile... in the Dark Meridian

Luna looked to Celas. "As far as this bracelet is concerned, Aqua's in this direction." She pointed down the coastline. If we can't find specifics, then I guess we'll have no choice but to keep going then. Let's go." Zion and Xion followed Luna as she continued her walk down the coastline, following the pulsating bracelet and hoping that the rescue op would be over soon.

Ienzo nodded.

"Elenar has a communication device." He explained. "We can use that to open a portal close to her and Luna's position."

He gave the heroes rushing out an odd look.

"So," he thought as he opened a dark portal for Cody, "the war starts."

On his stretcher, Ven sat up suddenly.

"Where-?" He croaked.

Elenar looked the way the mysterious man had said Aqua had gone and the way Luna's bracelet was leading her. Being sadistic and manipulative herself,

"Or at least formerly." She added in the privacy of her own thoughts. "Maybe."

She considered what she would have done in this situation. No matter which way she cut it, the road ahead wasn't looking too good.

"Should be fun." Lacuna said, giggling slightly as she followed after Luna.

Master Ansem sighed from Celas's words.

"Thank you for telling me." He said. "My heart is lighter knowing some of the harm I've done has been corrected."

He then chuckled oddly.

"So...my name is Ansem."

Elenar gave Celas a hopeless look.

"I'm glad I could ease some of your pain and yes, your name is Ansem...Ansem The Wise"Celas then noticed Elenar looking at her."Are you worried?" she asked. "Don't be. I'm sure we can make it through this situation if we work together as a team"She then watched Luna, Lacuna, Zion and Xion walk down the coastline."Come on. We need to catch up with them."Celas then followed Luna and the rest of the group, silently watching the mysterious girl named Lacuna.

Master Thomas looks right at Ventus on the spot with a stern look on his face. He folds his arms as he looks on at him. He is about to say something to him. He then speaks to Ventus by saying. "Are you well now? Also, the name's Master Thomas, earlier, a robed man came by.... After "The Purge Of Light" ended.... Which I feel may just be the "Prelude" to the "Ragnarok"... Anyway, Celas and the others are in the Realm of Darkness, searching for Master Aqua.." Said MAster Thomas, explaining things to Ventus.
