(Alright, lads and lasses. Here we go.)

The yellow eyes of Heartless Shadows were the only thing visible in the dark cave. There was a bigger Heartless in another chamber that had been terrorizing a local town, the perfect target for an aspiring hero. A perfect location.

Suddenly, the Heartless Shadows sensed a heart in the cave with them. They began to swarm for this treat, but were met by the crackle of lightning and flames. Soon, not even the light of Heartless eyes illuminated the darkness. A mechanical light snapped on after it was set up on a wall. Below it, where the light pooled, a poster was put up. It told those that read it to a place to go and a time to be there.

The place, The Old Mansion in Twilight Town.

The time stated was one word. Now.

The figure that put the poster up stepped back to look at it. It was there for the bold and skilled to find. If they could reach it, they could help save the worlds. Of course, this poster and others like it were for those the figure had missed. Personal invitations had already been sent. It just remained to see who would come.

The figure stepped fully out of the pool of light and was gone from that world.

Standing in the main foyer of the Old Mansion in Twilight Town was Theek Shalma. He began to tap his foot, trying to contain his impatience. There were many things to be done, but he couldn't put off what was going to happen. It was too importance, too big an opportunity. He only hoped his waiting would be rewarded.

Ienzo nodded."Elenar has a communication device." He explained. "We can use that to open a portal close to her and Luna's position."He gave the heroes rushing out an odd look."So," he thought as he opened a dark portal for Cody, "the war starts."On his stretcher, Ven sat up suddenly."Where-?" He croaked.

Cody was at a crossroads as Ienzo opened up a dark portal. On one hand, he would be reunited with Luna and maybe, just maybe make amends for breaking her fragile and timid heart. The feeling of guilt as all the signs of her affection finally made sense was overwhelming to the point of immobilizing the now formerly unemotional Guardian as he looked at the door that the heroes went through. "I can't ignore directives," he whispered to himself, "but... Luna...." Cody was worried that his father would operate on the Prime Directive, rather than carry out standing orders with Kairi on his behalf. He took a few steps toward the door, and stopped cold. Turning around to face the portal, his head twitched slightly as a mental battle between mind and heart raged within. He just stared at the dark portal, unsure what to do. He knew Luna was capable of handling things on her own, but wasn't as much of a fighter compared to him. "I'm not gonna go in just yet." he told Ienzo. "Keep the portal here open, and I'll charge in when I feel an intervention is necessary." He kneeled while cradling the arrow-rifle, waiting for his internal conflict to resolve itself as he eyed both the bracelet and the portal.

Meanwhile, at the Dark Meridian...

Luna felt the pulse on her bracelet getting stronger as she continued down the dark coastline. She quickened her pace, Zion and Xion keeping up as off in the distance a figure laid in the dark grey sands near the coastline. "This... this could be her!" She called back to Zion, Xion, Celas and Elenar. The pulsing bracelet got faster to the point of practically vibrating around her wrist as she closed the distance between the group and the figure in the sands, which she quickly identified to be a woman. Kneeling right besides the blue-haired person, she carefully rolled the woman over and tried to wake her up, casting Curaga as a preliminary measure. "Hey," she softly whispered to the unconscious girl, "Wake up. Please, you have to wake up!"

Ienzo nodded to Cody.

"I understand." He said. "The portal will remain open for you."

Ventus looked at Master Thomas with some confusion.

"What are you talking about?" He asked, his voice still hoarse.

Ienzo appeared behind him and offered a glass of water, which Ven took and took a gulp of.

"Let's wait on the possible apocalyptic future till we give him a better view of now, shall we?" The Cloaked Schemer said to Master Thomas, raising an eyebrow.

After a long gulp of water, Ven looked at Master Thomas, then Ienzo.

"What about Aqua?" He asked, sounding urgent.

"She has been missing in the Realm of Darkness for nearly as long as you have been asleep." Ienzo answered. "I don't suppose you remember much from where your heart was?"

Ven shook his head slowly, though a puzzled look came over his face.

"Sora?" He murmured.

Elenar sighed then nodded to Celas. She had to admit that Sora, the little punk, seemed to be right on the friends count. She followed after the main group beside Celas. When she saw Luna kneeling over someone on the beach, the Savage Nymph cautiously ran over to join her.

"This our damsel in distress?" She asked, giving the rock outcroppings inland a worried look.

It was mainly because of her uneasy state that she saw the several pairs of red glowing eyes that could be dimly seen looking out from a crack in the rocks.

"Look out!" She yelled, and threw one of her daggers charged with electricity at the eyes.

The dagger clanged through the crack and struck something that emitted an inhuman scream. Lacuna sauntered closer to the prone Aqua, chuckling.

"Who knew Keyblade Masters doubled as such good bait?" She asked in a jovial tone before igniting her void blades and spinning around to face nearly a dozen creatures climbing over the rocks.

The creatures all had four blade like legs and two sets of clawed arms. Three pairs of glowing red eyes set in an almost insectoid face with sharp teeth. Touch skin and a carapace over most of the creatures' body were pitch black and seemed to shimmer. No one there had ever seen anything like them, even those well aquatinted with the Dark Realm.

"Whoa." Lacuna said, nodded slightly. "Haven't seen these buggers before."

Master Thomas looks at Ienzo sternly. He folds his arms as he looks on at him. He is still thinking about the vision that he had. He then speaks to Ienzo by saying. "I have something to tell you. I just saw a vision.... The images in it were vivid.... It showed me... Being struck down by a "Mysterious Figure".... Where "That" happened was shown at Destiny Islands, but for some strange reason, there was nothing but Darkness in the sky.... The vision shown to me may have come from one month later... I don't know what this means.,.." Said Master Thomas, talking to Ienzo about the vision he recieved.

At the first notice of the scream Celas's Keyblade was summoned in her hand."How is it possible! I doubt that a single Keyblade Master would be a worthy bait to them." she said while moving closer to Aqua and the rest of the group, without losing sight of the creatures.

(It is Rikunobodyxiii's turn to post in this rp.)

Zion and Xion went to either side of the unconcious Aqua, checking her vitals.

"She appears ok." Zion said. "Don't know if she is mentally ok is the problem. Xion?"

Her dark-haired girlfriend looked up. "Looks good physically...but mentally..." Xion looked around. "This is a bad place...who knows what is could have done to her?"

So much for a simple mission... Luna thought to herself as she carefully laid the unconscious Aqua to the ground. She summoned her keyblade before moving in to attack the new threat, deciding to lunge at one of the creature's legs. She carefully listened to the other's responses and remarks while flying in midair.

Meanwhile... back at the castle in Radiant Garden.

Cody decided to reach for his commlink on his wrists, knowing full well that his dad would still be in range to communicate.

"Nocturne to Shadowhawk. Respond."

The device was silent for a moment before a voice cackled through the speaker.

"Shadowhawk, go ahead."

"Are you operating on the main directive here, or will you be protecting the princess on my behalf?"

"Main directive. From the looks of it, your assigned princess can take care of her own plus she's got her own guards. I wouldn't worry too much about her if I were you."

"Understood. Nocturne, out."

Despite the reassurance of Kairi not getting too hurt in her adventures, Cody was paralyzed with conflicting feelings as he continued to stare at the dark portal. His mind said no, but his heart said yes as he took a step towards the portal, one step closer to being reunited with Luna.

Ienzo eyed Cody for a moment. He rather wished Aeleus was here to deal with the situation. The big man would have probably shoved the uncertain Guardian through the portal and been done with it. With a mental sigh, Ienzo returned his attention to Master Thomas and Ventus.

"Then I suggest you avoid going to Destiny Islands for the next two months, just to be safe." The Cloaked Schemer answered the Keyblade Master somewhat flippantly, though inside he considered the vision with all seriousness.

Ven seemed to shake himself from his shocked state.

"If Aqua is in trouble, I need to help." He proclaimed, sounding stronger than he had before.

Ienzo nodded.

"Very well, but you should not go alone. You are still recovering from the reintegration of your heart."

Ienzo smiled slightly and looked over at Cody.

"Oh, Cody? Could you do me a favor?"

Elenar jumped and dodged the Dark Creatures, hurling lightning and daggers all the while.

"Blast!" She swore. "My lightning isn't doing much to them."

"Must not have enough juice." Lacuna taunted as she engaged one of the buggers in an almost dance like exchange of attacks.

The Savage Nymph gave the mysterious Void Witch a glare between her dodging.

"Ha ha freakin' ha. My 'juice' is fine. They are just resistant, bird brain."

The buggers drew in, acting more like trained warriors than the mindless charge one would get from Heartless or Lessor Nobodies. Luna's attack hit the leg, but it sounded like blades clashing rather than hitting a body part. It retaliated be swiping at her with a clawed arm. Several of the creatures jumped past Luna and Lacuna and headed for Celas, Zion and Xion. The unconscious Aqua seemed stable, but didn't show any sign of waking up.

Celas was paying close attention to the mysterious creatures, noticing that they were more coordinated that just mindless heartless."I don't get it" she thought. "It's like they know exactly what they are doing...this is starting to look more than a plan than just a random attack"In a split second the creatures jumped past Luna and Lacuna, heading towards her,Zion, Xion and the unconscious Aqua."What can I do? this is proving too much, even for all of us" Celas muttered while she kneel next to Aqua. " I need to protect this precious Light...light....that's it!"Celas pointed her Keyblade to the sky and closed her eyes, focusing in her next attack."May the light fall as rain upon those impure creatures who crawl from the deeps of the abyss...Divine Judgement!"A bright sphere of light began to shine above Celas and the others. Once the creatures were close enough, the sphere began to shot beams of light towards them, making them unable to get any more closer to Celas or the others who were under the sphere of light.

The battle that was raging inside Cody reached a stalemate. He looked on to the portal, uncertain if reinforcing Luna would be a good idea, or a "gross misallocation of valuable resources" as he once overheard Master Yen Sid said about having more than one Guardian in an area. Thankfully, Ienzo broke the stalemate and gave him something else to focus on for a while. "What's the favor?" Cody asked, finally returning back to reality for the time being.

Meanwhile...

Luna was surprised as her keyblade connected with the dark creature. The unusual sound of metal on metal echoed around her as she reeled backed from the unexpected armor. Listening in to the conversations of the battle, Luna went on the defensive as she carefully eyed the creature, looking for a possible weak spot as she tried to distract the creature away from Aqua, still unconscious and unresponsive. She threw her keyblade at the creature's body, hoping that it wasn't armored as well as Celas casted her magic.

Master Thomas looks at Ienzo with somewhat an uneasy look. He folds his arms as he looks on at him. He is still wondering about the vision. He then speaks to Ienzo by saying. "I'll try... Why are you considering the vision?" Asked Master Thomas, asking a question.

"Young Ventus here wants to go help his friend and could use a guardian." Ienzo explained to Cody.

Ven turned to Cody with a hopeful look in his eyes. Ienzo gave a less hopeful look to Master Thomas.

"You have to consider all the angles of a theory, even if it sounds far fetched. Especially if you are looking to disprove it."

The Cloaked Schemer shrugged.

"Still, we at least have a month to try and figure it out. If we get through the month."

Once Celas put up the Ball of Light, the buggers drew back, hissing. One stabbing at Elenar was too close to get away before being hit with a beam of light. It shrieked and writhed as if it was being burned. It tried to scrabble away, but received three daggers punched in its face by Elenar.

Distracted by the light source, the dark creature fighting against Luna was slammed by her flyer blade. Its carapace cracked and it went down. It was still alive, but mortally wounded.

Lacuna bobbed and weaved, then took an opening to slice one of her opponent's legs off where it attached to the body. She then lobbed of its head with a scissor action of her void blades. Seeing that the buggers were drawing back from the Light, Lacuna backed up towards it.

"Good thinking, Celas." Lacuna congratulated. "Guess these guys live too far from Light to have build up a tolerance."

Elenar scoffed.

"Scared of a light bulb, huh?" She called out, taunting the buggers.

As if to answer her, one of them spit at her. The Savage Nymph dodged and where the spit landed began to bubble and melt like acid.

"Oh, soo not fair." Elenar grumbled.

Master Thomas looks at Ienzo and nods at him. He folds his arms as he looks at him. He is still wondering if what the robed man said is really true. He then speaks to Ienzo by saying.  "Also, I've got some information about 300 years earlier a week ago, I forgot to tell you about what I've found... I found this information at a ruins... The "Chosen One", was a boy named Nasch... He was the Prince of "The Dark Savior"'s kingdom, he and his sister, who was the Princess, Merag, escaped the kingdom, looking for people to battle "The Dark Savior", whose name was Xecracus... Along the way, the found five individuals, who were willing to fight to take the kingdom back from Xecracus.. One, was a young man, who was a Gladiator who fought with his bare hands, known as Jack.... Another young man, who fought for his friends, known as Johnson... Another, a young woman, who was a brave warrior who fought using ice, known as Sheena... Another, a young man who fought many battles for his country using Summons, known as Kyle... And finally, the final individual, was originally the son of the "Dark King of The Dark Kingdom", was known as Gaia... Together, they formed a group called "The Seven Emperors of Divine Light", because they were people who were chosen by the "God of Time" to protect the Realm of Light at their age of Time... When Xecracus caused the Keyblade War, the seven Emperors stormed into action to fight Xecracus, who by the Time had split himself into the very first Heartless, the one who we know as Xatsuno, and the very first Nobody, who is known as Xetrodon... The Emperors battled greatly against Xatsuno and Xetrodon's forces... However, when the fighting in the Keyblade War came to a point, the Emperors were starting to get defeated... Merag was killed when she was led into a trap by Xatsuno, Jack was killed fighting a huge amount of Heartless and Nobodies, Johnson was killed when Xetrodon attacked him from behind, Sheena was killed when she battled against Xatsuno, but was killed when she lost, Kyle was killed when he was overrun by Heartless, and Gaia was killed when he fought Xatsuno and Xetrodon all by himself.... Gaia was doing well, until Xatsuno and Xetrodon finally overpowered him.... However, Nasch used his power to seal Xatsuno and Xetrodon away, but however, the damage had been done, the X-Blade was shattered into twenty pieces, seven of Light, thirteen of Darkness, and Kingdom Hearts disappeared, and Darkness filled the land... Nasch sent pieces of Light to to fill seven children with Light using his power, and they rebuilt the World as we know it today, and he sealed the thirteen pieces of Darkness away... However, Nasch died in the process... He vanished into Particles of Light when he used up all of his power... That's all I found out aboit 300 years ago.." Said Master Thomas, explaining what he had found.

Celas was watching the buggers going back to the darkness when she heard Lacuna."Yeah, using light is our best shot against these things"She then saw how one of the creatures spit at Elenar and how the spit began to bubble and melt like acid."Oh? Now that's interesting. Be careful Elenar, we can't let our guard down, we don't know the true extent of these creatures's abilities."Celas noticed the ball of light began to flicker and growing smaller and smaller with each passing second."Not good, I'm not used to cast such a powerful light attack like this...I wonder how long will it last until it disappear." she thought to herself while keeping an eye on both the creatures and the unconscious Aqua.

Performing a mental assessment of the keyblade warrior, Cody couldn't help but listen in on Master Thomas's rambling. "I swear he's yanking this stuff out of lalaland..." he muttered to himself before returning his attention to Ventus. "Looks like I'm going into the Realm one way or another afterall. So much for being on standby." He summoned his keyblade and the rest of his armor, then gripped his arrow-rifle with his left hand. "Whenever you're ready, Ventus..." he growled, steeling himself against the unknown once they charge through the portal. He reassured himself by tightening his dual-wielding grip on his weapons.

Meanwhile...

Calling her keyblade back, Luna noticed the creature's reaction to the light that Celas casted. "Guess these guys live too far from Light to have build up a tolerance." she heard Lacuna remarked, and that gave her an idea. Reaching into her pouch, Luna quickly pulled out an orb and channeled some magic before throwing it at the creature she had attacked not too long ago. She saw the retaliatory attempt on Elenar while waiting for the light-based explosion to occur. Better not get hit by that. If it burns through the ground that fast, then armor must be nothing...

Master Thomas looks right at Cody sternly as he folds his arms. He can tell that he doesn't believe him. He can't help but stare at him. He then speaks to Cody in his head by saying. "If you're doubting the legend, it's true, the ruins of where this legend was found was at a cavern at the Keyblade Graveyard... If you still don't believe me, then wait and see what happens when you see the figures of the legend for yourself.. I won't tell you where that cavern is because you're not a Keyblade Master, and that location must be protected.." Said Master Thomas, talking to Cody mentally.

"Thank you!" Exclaimed Ven, giving Cody a big smile. He summoned his Keyblade and ran through the Dark Portal Ienzo had open.

Ienzo sighed heavily.

"Let's not argue about possible dangers, shall we?" He prompted. "If we don't deal with the current threat, namely Xehanort, then we won't be around to worry about other threats."

He looked at Cody.

"Thank you for your help, and you had best be off, since Ven has already jumped through."

He switched his gaze to Master Thomas.

"And if you could write down all you have found on these emperors and the dark king at your earliest possible convenience, I would be grateful."

He turned and looked at the main computer consul nearby, then turned back to Master Thomas.

"But before a month from now, if you please."

Ven landed in the Realm of Darkness. If felt eery here, but he had to find Aqua. He didn't see anybody, but he heard sounds of battle further along the beach.

Elenar and Lacuna dodged as more of the bugger's acidic spit went hurtling past.

"I hope someone has a plan!" The Savage Nymph said as she threw more daggers at the spitting buggers.

That's when Luna's Light bomb went off, catching and burning nearly half of the still sanding dark creatures. Most fell and didn't rise again.

Lacuna shook the bright aura left by the explosion from her eyes, then laughed at the carnage.

"Now that's what I call a plan!" She said amidst her laughter.

Elenar gave Lacuna a crazy that conveyed "You're crazy" almost as well as actually saying it.

"Let's just grab the girl and leave now, huh?" She suggested.

The remaining buggers stayed back, but the clicking sound of more coming could be heard.

"Yeah, definitely now."

Celas looked at Lacuna for a few seconds, trying to learn something, anything, from that weird behavior of hers, but after a moment she was unable to notice anything weird and chose to actually listen to both Lacuna and Elenar talking, until they decided it was time to go."Yeah, we can't afford to stay here any longer or it will be more troubles for us"Celas decided to piggy-back carry the unconscious Aqua while keeping an eye on the few remaining buggers, this was proving quite bothersome thanks to her body being exhausted for using too much "light"."I don't like the sound of that" she said when a clicking sound could be heard in the distance. "Hurry! We must go while they are stunned from that attack"For a small instant Celas could feel the presence of a new Light near their positions."This feeling...did he finally woke up?" Celas thought. "Finally some good news"Celas slowly got up with Aqua on her back and began to walk back the way they had come.

He summoned his Keyblade and ran through the Dark Portal Ienzo had open.Ienzo sighed heavily."Let's not argue about possible dangers, shall we?" He prompted. "If we don't deal with the current threat, namely Xehanort, then we won't be around to worry about other threats."He looked at Cody."Thank you for your help, and you had best be off, since Ven has already jumped through."He switched his gaze to Master Thomas."And if you could write down all you have found on these emperors and the dark king at your earliest possible convenience, I would be grateful."He turned and looked at the main computer consul nearby, then turned back to Master Thomas."But before a month from now, if you please."Ven landed in the Realm of Darkness. If felt eery here, but he had to find Aqua. He didn't see anybody, but he heard sounds of battle further along the beach.Elenar and Lacuna dodged as more of the bugger's acidic spit went hurtling past."I hope someone has a plan!" The Savage Nymph said as she threw more daggers at the spitting buggers. That's when Luna's Light bomb went off, catching and burning nearly half of the still sanding dark creatures. Most fell and didn't rise again.Lacuna shook the bright aura left by the explosion from her eyes, then laughed at the carnage."Now that's what I call a plan!" She said amidst her laughter.Elenar gave Lacuna a crazy that conveyed "You're crazy" almost as well as actually saying it."Let's just grab the girl and leave now, huh?" "Thank you for your help, and you had best be off, since Ven has already jumped through." Cody heard Ienzo warned. He nodded in understanding as he started towards the portal. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed Master Thomas's gaze and winked, knowing full well the geezer was judging him. Keyblade Master.... Keyblade Warrior... Keyblade Guardian. Same rank, different classification. But you wouldn't know. And it's better that you don't. He thought to himself, smiling as he ran into the portal trying to catch up to Ventus.

.........

Luna wasn't expecting such a devastating attack coming from her hands as the mortally wounded creature fell, along with several others. "W-woah..." she breathed, visibly shakened by the event. The other's remark on the situation refocused her attention, and it was only then that she heard the sound of more approaching.

"Let's just grab the girl and leave now, huh?

"Yeah, definitely now."

"I don't like the sound of that! Hurry! We must go while they are stunned from that attack"

"Yeah... let's go!" she replied. Noticing Celas carrying Aqua, she looked around to see if the immediate vicinity was clear as they tried to make their escape. The remaining creatures were stunned, but not for long. Out in the distance, Luna noticed someone approaching the group, and another person trailing slightly behind. "Someone's coming!" Luna warned the group, closely watching the stunned creatures to see if they recovered. She prepared another attack orb, but felt slightly weaker than before as she charged it.

Master Thomas begins to look at the computer sternly. Suddenly, he clutches his head in pain. He begins to see visions from "Another Place". Master Thomas then thinks mentally in his head with the following words."Ugh, my head... It hurts.... Wait, these "Visions"... Are they actually my Memories..... They are... My Memories... Didn't I die?" Asked Master Thomas, mentally asking himself a strange question.

Elenar readied a few daggers for the running figures, but paused when she saw them.

"Roxas?" She said in disbelief.

She then remembered the kid Celas saved from Castle Oblivion.

"Roxas?" Ven repeated as he slowed to a stop near the rescue team.

Lacuna appeared out of thin air beside Ven and popped up a barrier to block another corrosive spit from a bugger.

"Wow!" The void witch commented. "It's eating through the spell. We really need to go."

Ven caught sight of Celas carrying Aqua and rushed over. Elenar threw more daggers to buy time.

"Is someone gonna open a portal?" She demanded.

"Y'all go ahead, I've got an old guy to save." Lacuna said, then darted off back towards Ansem the Wise.

Ienzo worked on the computer for a few moments before looking back at Master Thomas.

"You alright?" He asked, arching an eyebrow.

At that point, Even reentered the room. He carried a tablet in his hands and was looking at it with what passed for excitement for the Chilly Academic.

"Ienzo" Even began, "I was going over some of the readings from the recent attack on Radiant Garden, and found something interesting about that Xatsuno fellow."

Even offered the tablet, which Ienzo took and read. A look of intrigued wonderment crossed the young scientist's face.

Master Thomas takes the tablet, puts it into his mouth, and drinks it down with water. He looks right at Even sternly for some reason. He is wondering what Even uncovered. He then speaks to Even by saying. "What is it that you uncovered?" Asked Master Thomas, asking a question.

Celas watched how Lacuna ran back towards Ansem the Wise."Hey! you can't go alone!" she shouted. "She is an idiot!"Once Ven was close enough Celas gave him a small smile."It is good to see that you're awake Ventus" she then ruffled his hair gently. "But listen, you need to take Aqua and everyone away from here, this place is not safe"Celas said while giving Aqua's unconscious body to Ven. She then reached her hand out and a portal leading back to Radiant Garden opened."Now go. I need to go after Lacuna before something bad happens to her or the Master Ansem. Stay safe everyone"With those last words Celas followed Lacuna.

Cody finally managed to catch up to Ventus, surprised at how fast the pipsqueak was. Not even seeing the attack by the creature, Cody didn't react to the save by Lacuna until it was apparently too late. "Thanks." Was the only word to escape his mouth as Ventus dashed off towards Aqua and Celas. He looked off in the distance and saw Luna slowly backing away from several of the same creatures, her keyblade drawn but apparently reluctant to fight. He shouldered his rifle, aiming just above her right shoulder and directly at the head of one of the creatures, but stopped short of pulling the trigger.

As Celas opened a portal back to Radiant Garden, Cody snapped into his usual battle mentality. "Everyone into the portal! Let's get out of here!" he yelled to the group, finally pulling the trigger and sending an arrow bolt screaming just inches away from Luna's right ear. She immediately flinched, then whirled around with an expression of disbelief as she realized whose voice it was. "Cody?" She softly asked, unsure if he was just a figment of her imagination at this point. "Get outta here!" he started, "exfil and complete this objective! Save the waterworks for afterwards!" She immediately obliged, making a mad dash to the open portal as he let off another shot at the creatures. "Go! Go! Go!" he screamed to the rest, wanting to get out of the eerie place and back in familiar territory. As soon as Aqua's unconscious body went through the portal, Cody turned around and jumped into it, only to faceplant the familiar cement flooring of the Castle in Radiant Garden...
