(Alright, lads and lasses. Here we go.)

 

The yellow eyes of Heartless Shadows were the only thing visible in the dark cave. There was a bigger Heartless in another chamber that had been terrorizing a local town, the perfect target for an aspiring hero. A perfect location.

Suddenly, the Heartless Shadows sensed a heart in the cave with them. They began to swarm for this treat, but were met by the crackle of lightning and flames. Soon, not even the light of Heartless eyes illuminated the darkness. A mechanical light snapped on after it was set up on a wall. Below it, where the light pooled, a poster was put up. It told those that read it to a place to go and a time to be there.

The place, The Old Mansion in Twilight Town.

The time stated was one word. Now.

The figure that put the poster up stepped back to look at it. It was there for the bold and skilled to find. If they could reach it, they could help save the worlds. Of course, this poster and others like it were for those the figure had missed. Personal invitations had already been sent. It just remained to see who would come.

The figure stepped fully out of the pool of light and was gone from that world.

 

 

Standing in the main foyer of the Old Mansion in Twilight Town was Theek Shalma. He began to tap his foot, trying to contain his impatience. There were many things to be done, but he couldn't put off what was going to happen. It was too importance, too big an opportunity. He only hoped his waiting would be rewarded.

Ienzo nodded to Celas suggestion. It would be good to have Aqua back to full strength. When she awoke. Ienzo considered the bits and pieces he had gotten from the mission to get Aqua. He would have to get a full report, most likely from Elenar. Perhaps a problem for later. There were plenty of others for now.

 

Elenar blinked as she and Celas ended up in the White Room deep within the Old Mansion's basement. The machine hummed for a moment, then fell silent.

"So, this is the old mansion." She commented. "Seen it from the outside on a couple of missions."

 

"Out of the way, boy." Aeleus told Lucas. "Your 'friend' is-"

The Silent Hero was cut off by something striking and exploding on his chest. he was tossed back and crashed into the wall.

"Quick!" The king squeaked, holding a handful of what looked like hard candy. "Get him before he gets back up."

Aeleus managed to get on his feet with murder in his eyes.

Celas was watching how the machine came to life only to fell silent the next moment."That was interesting.""So, this is the old mansion. Seen it from the outside on a couple of missions." Elenar commented."Yeah, this is the place where Ansem the Wise, Namine and Riku brought Sora after...uh...well, after what happened at Castle Oblivion."Celas thought that maybe talking about what happened in Castle Oblivion would make Elenar feel uncomfortable, so she was about to change the subject when a loud noise was heard."Did you heard that? It came from upstairs. That's weird, no one should be here besides Aeleus and Ansem"

Elenar didn't appear to react to the mention of what happened at Castle Oblivion. Inwardly, she looked back on the events and her part in them. So worthless.

Her introspection was cut short by a crashing sound and Celas's reaction.

"Stoneface is actually pretty quiet when he's not smashing something." Elenar said, narrowing her eyes.

She smiled slightly and summoned her daggers.

"Must mean there's some smiting to do." She added, sounding hopeful.

She looked to Celas, jerked her head to the door and ran to the door.

"That is exactly where I want it." Ienzo answered Celas. "Don't worry about it once it is there. I'm sure Even would object to anything you did to install it. My thanks, ladies."With that, the Cloaked Schemer returned to his computer work. Elenar glared at the back of his head."You're assuming I'm going to help." She pointed out, defiantly."Yes, but I'm not assuming that it will be to help me." Ienzo replied, not turning around.Elenar's look became more sour, but she didn't retort. After a moment, she turned to go out to the machine."Let's go do the short one's bidding." She said to Celas.

After a decent nap, seriously messy bed, several missing pillows with feathers leaking, a smashed alarm clock, a little crater where said alarm clock once stood, and a little mourning for said alarm clock, Cody walked back into the main room where Ienzo and the others were. Luna was closely trailing behind him with a slight glow and a smile on her face as she looked over to the cloaked schemer. After popping his neck and looking around the place, he took a deep breath. "I really needed that nap. Anyways, what did I miss? If you have any other important assignments that could assist Sora and the others, lemme hear it. Otherwise, I think it would be best if I head out to Disney Castle and assist with whatever is happening over there." He glanced down to his silver bracelet. Nothing bad yet. But better safe than sorry.

With a slight movement of her wrist, Celas summoned her keyblade and followed the Savage Nymph."But it's strange" the young Keyblade Master said. "I thought no one was here."After following Elenar by a couple of minutes Celas spoke once again."I smell two other visitors besides Aeleus, one of them is a wielder of the Keyblade"

Ienzo was transferring data to a portable drive as Cody and Luna returned.

"Quiet, thus far." He answered, his tone portraying that quiet was necessarily a good thing. "No knew assignment yet."

He turned around and gave Cody and Luna a smile.

"If you want to go to Disney Castle, please take Aqua's blade with you. I have been reminded that she will need it. It's down in the secret lab."

 

Elenar threw up her hands in frustration.

"Of course one of them have one." She said in reaction to Celas's report. "Every other person seems to have one now."

She huffed and went out the front door of the Old Mansion to see Aeleus preparing to fight a young man with a Keyblade and a small man with a huge head and a tiny crown.

"What the heck is going on here?" The Savage Nymph demanded.

"Maleficent sent one of her allies." Aeleus answered as he took a swing at Lucas.

Celas managed to hold a smile at Elenar's comment. That was until both saw Aeleus and the other two visitors."What the heck is going on here?""Maleficent sent one of her allies."The Dark Warrior looked at the small man then at the young Keyblade Wielder."Malificent? Are you telling me she send one of her minions here?" the young girl asked.Aeleus then took a swing at the young man and Celas took notice of that."You said "one" ally. By the look of things I suppose that Malificent's ally is that man you're fighting, right?Celas reached her hand out, making a sphere of darkness ready to be shot at the enemy."Who is the enemy, Aeleus?! The Keyblade Master yelled. "That Keyblade Wielder or that tiny man over there?!"

As Lucas blocked the strike, he saw the Keyblade master yell "WHO IS THE ENEMY AELEUS? THAT KEYBLADE WIELDER OR THAT TINY MAN?" Lucas responded, "ME? YOUR THE ONES ATTACKING THIS INNOCENT KING OVER HERE!" He forced away Aeleus and threw his keyblade at him, stunning him. He followed up with running towards him and doing a launching strike to get him into the air. He then jumped up and did a forward mid air spin attack to send Aeleus flying into the ground.

Aeleus recovered in time to block Lucas's mid air spin attack, be he was still forced to a knee.

"The boy is an unknown." The big man growled. "Get Candy!"

Elenar looked incredulous.

"That's him?" She asked, sounding shocked. "I thought he was-"

"Have some candy!" The little king said, throwing explosive hard candy at Elenar and Celas.

"ME? YOUR THE ONES ATTACKING THIS INNOCENT KING OVER HERE!"

"The boy is an unknown. Get Candy!

"That's him? I thought he was-"

"Have some candy!"

Celas was taken by surprise by the sudden change of the small king. but was able to use a dark portal to redirect the king's explosive candy back at him in the last second.

"What in the name of darkness..." The young Keyblade Master thought. "Alright, I need to focus."

The Dark Warrior waved her Keyblade in front of her, leaving orbs of darkness that went flying towards the little king before exploding.

"You will fall!"

Celas then pointed her Keyblade at Candy and began to shoot bullets of darkness at him.

Lucas dodged behind Aeleus after he blocked the attack, and saw the man throw explosive candy. I thought he couldn't defend himself?

Aeleus stomped his foot, causing a ripple in the ground around him, hopefully catching Lucas off guard.

"I don't know who you are, boy." The Silent Hero said, turning to face Lucas. "But your new friend is a usurping coward. He stole his kingdom through trickery and cheats. He works with a witch who is trying to rule the worlds with darkness. Is that the sort of company you want to keep?"

Elenar spun to one side to avoid the explosive confections.

"That all you got, Candy?" She taunted as she threw a few daggers, supplementing Celas's dark bullets.

The little king yelped and jumped behind a column.

"That's KING Candy, to the likes of you." He shouted from behind his hiding place. "Please, Hero! Save me!"

Lucas was confused, and from what he saw, the King wasn't all he seemed to be. But there was one thing that stood out from him, that he hadn't noticed earlier, due to the arrival of the other keyblade wielders. He felt......Darkness, emenating from the man. I don't know what's going on.....That man has.....something dark coming from him. I...... Lucas turned towards the King. "I can feel darkness coming from you, i just hadn't noticed until now, due to the excitement." He pointed his keyblade at him. "I don't think you've been honest......King."

A crash was heard, and a sleepy Zion in panties and an oversized T-shirt padded into the room. She looked around, looking like she didn't give a flying frakk. And looking sleepy.

"Seriously. You made my mom yell at me to get here. I didn't even have time to change." The golden-haired girl yawned, stretching. Her wings unfolded, in their soft gold, real-looking mode and not in their ablaze mode. They flapped weakly, then drapped across the ground and slightly dragged behind her. She looked arou d.

"King Candy. Organization Thirteen. God. Cant tye worlds stay undestroyed for...for one hours? Or undisturbed?"

Celas nodded at the young man."Good! You managed to notice he is the bad guy instead of us."The Dark Warrior then looked at the little King and gave her a cocky smile."I'm so sorry, my liege." She said while bowing slightly. "But you lost and now you are going to perish here without anyone to help you"Celas once again pointed her Keyblade at Candy, orbs of Light and Darkness gathering on the tip of the Keyblade."Dual Ragnarok!" The Keyblade Master yelled as she fired a cluster of energy bullets towards King Candy.

Elenar grinned widely as she supercharged a few daggers. Now this was fun. She threw the daggers at the same time Celas unleashed her dual Ragnarok. The column King Candy hid behind shattered by the power of the attacks. Dust filled the air as Aeleus crept forward. He held up a hand to call for a hold on attacks. Keeping a sharp eye out, he managed to see the clawed hand before it was too late. He brought up his tomahawk and blocked the claws, but was pushed back a few paces.

King Candy's head rose from the settling dust on a long neck connected to a big like body.

"You ruin my fun and think you can stop me?" The King Candy Cybug laughed.

He grinned at Lucas, showing sharp teeth.

"You should have just come along, buddy boy."

Aeleus's features hardened as he smashed his weapon into the ground, sending an erupting wave of earth at King Candy.

"Don't suppose you wanna help?" Elenar asked Zion once she stopped the blond girl.

Around King Candy appeared four Keyblades. They each unleashed beams of light into King Candy before two of them appeared in Zion's hands. Her wings flashed to golden light, and she rose from the ground.

"Yeah, yeah. I know."

 

Her wings fired off numerous bolts of light, bathing King Candy with Albion Strike.

"This is for making me leave my bed! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD IT IS TO GET XION INTO LINGERIE?!"

"This is for making me leave my bed! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD IT IS TO GET XION INTO LINGERIE?!"Celas shook her head and tried really hard to hold a laugh."Oh dear. We are in a dangerous situation and she is thinking about lingerie."Once again the Dark Warrior looked at the King and reached her hand out, creating a ball of darkness."Indeed! I think we can stop you, or better yet, destroy you!"Celas moved her hand behind her, opening a small dark portal and shooting the ball inside before closing it again."You think Maleficent will hold her end of whatever deal you have with her? You poor, simple fool! She wants Kingdom Hearts for herself and will share it with no one!"A dark portal opened behind King Candy and the ball of darkness came out from it hitting the King in his back and exploding at the contact.

Lucas took the advantage of the king getting attacked to quickly do a flurry of blows when he flew towards him, then knocked him into the air, lucas teleported above him and smashed him into the ground.

Cody only nodded as he turned around to face Luna. "Prime Directive" he coldly informed the timid protector, "Disney Castle is currently under attack. Sora and the rest of his friends are already there. My father as well. Turned out he used to be one of us." Luna could only stare back as she felt her heart sink a bit. Those two words were the most feared within the Guardian Corps. As she realized what would be in her near future, Cody was already making his way down to the basement level after thanking the cloaked schemer. She snapped out of her trance, and ran to catch up. "Th-this can't be h-happening" she whispered to the stoic protector, "Are you... y-you're sure that-"

 

"Prime directive" Cody immediately replied back, "Heard my dad say so. But... Well he responded first, and went on my behalf until I can be reunited with you."

"then... y-you don't have to go, right?"

"True. But..." As Cody latched Aqua's keyblade on his back, he turned to face the girl. "What about you?"

"W-what do you mean?"

"My dad is going on my behalf, I think you need someone to go on your behalf."

Luna blinked. "Why?"

Cody let off a heavy sigh. "Zion told me about what happened between you and her. I'm... happy... I really am happy for you. Luna, you deserve to live a normal life... Unchained by the oath we swore to uphold long ago. So, during a time of crisis like this, I'll step in, so you can be free."

Smiling at the selfless sacrifice, she gently held his hand. "No " she whispered back, "We'll go together. Wherever you go, I want to be there alongside you." 

"But-" 

"It's ok. I want to be with you to the very end... No matter what."

"Well... Zion might not like this. Are you sure?"

"Absolutely."

 

The two walked hand-in-hand back up to the main foyer where Ienzo was. Cody was deep in thought at how bad the situation may be at Disney Castle, Luna quietly humming a tune as they made their way to the front door across the room. Once outside, they promptly made their way to their parked gummi ships on the outskirts of town...

He asked Celas.As quick as lightning, the Cybug King darted forward, bashing Aeleus out of the way. He was up next to Celas in an instant, a clawed hand raised to strike. Elenar moved in between the two, discharging a large bolt of lightning at Candy. "No touching my friend, bug!" She growled.King Candy hissed and back fisted Elenar, sending the Savage Nymph flying.

Lucas had his keyblade at the ready, and ran to Aeleus's side. "Are you ok?" He quickly turned towards the King and pointed his keyblade upward, teleporting behind him and performing a quick 7 hit flurry of blows, finishing with a strike at his head and backflipping away.

Zion suddenly appeared in front of King Candy, all four Keyblades pointed at him.

"Zion is combat ready."

She unleashed Radiant Dawn, essentially a huge beam of destructive energy erupted from the center, smashing into King Candy.

"No!"

Celas fired another round of energy bullets at the King and then ran towards Elenar.

"Are you alright?" Celas asked the blond girl. "Don't worry, I got you"

The Dark Warrior placed her hand over the Savage Nymph and began to use a healing spell.

Going through the familiar start-up procedures, Cody's hands danced at the controls of his gummi ship once again as Luna got comfortable in one of the hot seats. "Deliver Aqua's Keyblade" he mumbled, "Next stop: Disney Castle." As the ship lifted off and took to the skies, Luna's melodic hum trailed off into silence as they exited the atmosphere of Radiant Garden. The persistent drone of the engines was the only sound occupying the cockpit. Minutes passed, then Cody let off a heavy sigh. "You're scared, aren't you?" he whispered. She slowly nodded, unable to respond. "You know" he continued, "uh... if there's anything you wanna say or ask... well..." They both broke into a nervous laughter before quieting down again. Luna was the first to break the silence. "So... who's gonna confess everything first?"
