The premise is so stupid, silly, and ridiculous (in a good way), yet somehow the creators managed to make it more than that. The characters are really interesting with a lot of personality and surprisingly get well developed as the story goes on. The setting and premise as unbelievable as it is, is actually believable. To put it in a nutshell, it's not just a show where schoolgirls get in tanks and antics occur. There's more to it.

There's more to it. exactly there is so much more to it than nuns wiith guns, but i just thought that would be a good way to convince you at first because its one thing thats true about it normally its enough to win people over i'm glad your getting so much out of it, if you want another anime with depth try fullmetal alchemist
