I felt like posting my own little list of things I do and don't want to see in KH3.
:
Maybe a smoother version of FlowMotion (or flight, which Nomura seemed to be implying)
Fluid joint-attacks with Donald and Goofy- like, it would be cool to have a regular combo attack chain into a quick burst of magic from Donald and Sora combined, which would then chain into the next hit of a combo
Synthesis. And Synthesis needs to be how you get the Ultima weapon IMO. No "beat this enemy, get Ultima" crap that we got in the last 3 games. Like, it fit fine with those, but I don't want to see it again.
A new theme, and an orchestral version of that theme that plays over a 'trailer' of sorts (like in KH1 and 2 when you left the main menu open for about two minutes or so)
Maybe a sad ending. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Sora sacrifice himself to save Ventus, Roxas, and Xion. This could possibly lead to a new direction for subsequent KH titles, one where you control Riku with Mickey on your team, as you search for a way to bring Sora back.
Multiple types of enemies, like KH2. (As in: heartless and nobodies, as opposed to just heartless) But, in addition, it would be cool to see the enemies be fighting each other too. Like, I'd like to walk up to an area, trigger the spawning of some shadows and dusks, but also have the dusks attacking the heartless while we're all mixed up in the brawl. I don't even care if they do actual damage to each other. But it would help increase the hectic nature of the battle, just to see them going at it.
:
Rehashed music pieces. No, I don't think they're gonna make a re-hashed soundtrack, but I remember hearing rehashed KH1 tracks in BBS and rehashed BBS tracks in 3D. And no, I'm not talking about the re-orchestrations and remixes, those were fine. Like, consider after Terra's final battle in BBS, that theme from the end of KH1 (the one where Ansem SoD dies) plays as Terra kneels back down. No changes to the track, no musical differences, nothing. It was the exact same track, which made the scene less climactic because it made me think of that point where it plays in KH1, as opposed to what I was actually looking at. Now, if there's one of these here and there, like in KH2, where you would hear the occasional but very well-placed KH1 track, that's fine. I just don't want to hear so many of them like I heard on the handheld titles. (although admittedly, Ventus's theme was a great choice for that scene before Sora's final battle in DDD)
I don't want to have the FMV theme play before the menu opens, at the beginning of the game, and also if you leave the menu open for too long. Example: Birth By Sleep: When you boot up the game, the FMV and theme play. If you leave it on the main menu for a couple minutes, the same clip plays. And then when you start a new game, that same clip plays AGAIN. Now again, this was one thing that was fine for the console that it was on, as they only had so much space they could use. But I want KH3 to be like 1 and 2 in this area. I want to be able to boot up the game, have it go straight to the menu, leave it on for a bit and have some orchestral version (as I previously mentioned) play over some cutscene footage, then finally have the actual theme play when I actually hit "New Game". Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but hey.
Abuse of the time travel concept. It worked fine in 3D, but they're gonna really have to be careful with it if they want it to continue working. I don't want every plot element to be explained by time travel in some way or another. The concept has just become too cliche for that. But again, if they use it in moderation (or even better- not at all), then I'd be happy.

What do you guys think of my points?
