Master Keeper in the trailer!? What does this mean?

Posted

I am 99.999999% sure that the Keyblade Sora finds in the beach in the trailer is Master Keeper, the Keyblade wielded first by Master Eraqus and later by Aqua. Does this have something to do with the imminent return of one of them? Both of them? Or will Sora finally become a Keyblade Master? I'd love to hear your theories!

Yes it's Master's Keeper and since it's a beta/concept trailer it may or may not make it into the actual game since in development this stuff changes up until it's finished . However, rest assured Aqua will be back and most likely even Eraqus since Nomura said to pay attention to where Eraqus went in BBS xD As for Sora becoming a master- he might but he doesn't need to - he's already got the strength of one .

None of the above with it he can find the 3 missing keyblade wielders it's simple

It means nothing.

Haha No. That's Mickey and Riku's job. :P

What could this mean? Just about anything, really.

Most likely the Master keeper is just a place holder since it's still in the development stages.News about Master Eraqus would be nice too, like where are him and terra and how did Master Xehanort overpower them both?

Here are my theories!

1- Aqua is back to the Realm of Light and that's why we can see the Master Keeper (she will then ask Sora to help her wake Ventus).

2- Aqua managed to send the Master Keeper back to Realm of Light (in a similar way that Kairi send the letter for Sora to the Realm of Darkness in KH2) and hopes that Sora will be able to use it to unlock Castle's Oblivion Chamber of Sleep and, therefore, wake Ventus up.

Either way, that Keyblade will be crucial to get access to Chamber of Sleep where Ventus' body resides, waiting for his heart to be awaken once again.

If it remains apart of the story, I say Sora recovers Ventus from the Chamber of Sleep. Also MX dies.

Guess we'll have to wait to find out. I hate waiting...

I didn't even think of that, but I'm guessing you're spot-on!

um actually, that's Sora's job. Mickey and Riku are just looking for whatever keyblade wielders they can find.

in bbs eraqus said only Aqua has the skill to get through CO. you don't only need the keyblade

Story of Kingdom Hearts III

Believing light and darkness must remain in balance, Master Xehanort

seeks to spark war against the ‘tyranny of light’ to restore

equilibrium.

In an effort to undermine Xehanort’s plot, Sora, Donald and Goofy

search for seven guardians of light and the “Key to Return Hearts,”

while King Mickey and Riku search for previous Keyblade wielders.

when the person you replied to said the remaining 3 keyblade wielders, i think that person meant Aqua, Terra, and Ventus. Which all three of them are obviously THREE OF THE SEVEN GUARDIANS OF LIGHT.

Actually the identity of the lights are not confirmed and Nomura even said we shall be surprised at who they actually are . They don't even need to be wielders . They can be Donald and Goofy . This was purposely left for us to guess and discuss till KH3 comes out.

....What past keyblade wielders do you think they are talking about?

Well, FlamingLea's quote above your comment kind of disables both of our arguments.. :/

It kinda adds to my point.
