From here on out, will any of the future KH games have Final Mixes?

Posted

I mean, now that pretty much all the next gen consoles have DLC, they really don't need to re produce the whole game over again, and can just have DLC labeled "Final Mix". It'd be better that way, so ALL COUNTRIES can get Final Mix exclusive content, not just Japan. PS4, PS Vita, and 3DS all have DLC, and those are probably going to be the consoles that future KH games will be on for this gen. There's no way we'll get them on DS since its dying, so all of the possible consoles the next KH games will be on will have DLC.

It has to be some really expensive DLC because otherwise they wouldnt make as much profit as selling the physical copy.  And Re-Selling the whole game, with the same price of the normal one.

I would say yes.

Nope. Just DLC.

I think I read somewhere that Nomura wont make any dlc cuz of Disney

DLC sounds the most logical, since they could still make money, not have to produce the extra discs and won't be viewed unfavorably by fans they exclude.

However we'll have to wait and find out if there's  KH3 Final Mix.  That'll be on the next gen and we'll see how they treat it, whether it goes by disc based, download based and the exclusivity of it.
