OK, so Braig was possessed before he became a nobody (Xigbar) so how can he still be "norted" if Xehanort stabbed Braig, releasing his heart, which I assume includes Xehanorts heart fragment. Idk if Isa was possessed before or after he became a nobody, so I'm using Braig as my example. It's not like he could be repossessed, because Xemnas didn't have a Key blade that we know of to extract a piece of his newly grown heart. Xigbar has yellow eyes & pointy ears through the whole series, so I just don't understand.

Unless it's Braig from the past. Braig & Isa weren't in the computer room when everyone else woke up in DDD. So maybe both Braig & Is a are from the past.

Wait, from what I know Braig wasn't possessed before he became a nobody (we are talking about birth by sleep right?)then as a Nobody (Xigbar) he got possessed,  then in DDD he revived but it was his human side, so MX "killed" him again to have his nobody Xigabar back? the one that got possessed? e.e wait this is confusing xD

I know it's kind of confusing. In BBS there is a close up on his eye right before you fight him as Aqua, in the end, and his ears were pointy. Braig wanted a Keyblade, so Xehanort agreed to possess Braig, if Braig helped him awaken Terra's darkness and all that fun stuff.

Good god, nothing in this series is explained well enough in the ACTUAL games!

One possibility is that Braig actually did lose the part of Xehanort's heart when he was stabbed with the Keyblade, but was later "re-possesed" somehow by Xehanort with time-travel shenanigans or something of the sort.

A more likely explanation is that Xehanort's possession is more deep-rooted then we know, and is not specifically confined by the heart alone. If this was true, then it would make sense for Xehanort's influence to remain after Braig had lost his heart.

Or it could just be some asinine plot point that will be addressed in Kingdom Hearts III. Have I ever mentioned how much is riding on that game?

Braig got possessed in BBS . You will notice that he first had brown eyes and no pointy ears and then after MX does something he has the gold eye and such .The scene in the beginning of DDD is a flashback showing how AX stabbed the apprentices and turned them into nobodies all those years ago.:

— Is the first cutscene we see in KH3D a flashback to 10 years before the first Kingdom Hearts when Xehanort and co. lost their hearts in an experiment?

Nomura: That’s right. That’s because in a sense it was the beginning of the story of this title.

@ topic It's bc even though he was implanted in BBS he wasn't turned into a nobody till at least a year had past and the implant had time to grow and slowly integrate itself into Braig's heart. Therefore even when he lost his heart it was already part Xehanort and when he regained it it would still be part Xehanort. :  What happens to the hearts of those who have had Master Xehanort’s heart planted within them?

Nomura: They’ll gradually be swallowed by it. As for Master Xehanort, he plans to control them completely. The planted parts of the heart are captured rather than disappear.

Anyways, it  certainly seems that they are revived as humans but it hasn't be confirmed by the way Nomura phrases his answer :

Xigbar and Saix appeared as members of Organisation XIII. Did they return as humans like Lea and the others?

Nomura: The conditions of becoming a human have been met, so you’d think they had returned, wouldn’t you? For them to have been with Xehanort and the others, perhaps they were collected after they had become humans and before Lea and the others woke up. You could say the same for the members of Organisation XIII that didn’t appear in this title, however… I’d rather everyone use their imaginations.

Also I would like to add that Nomura did mention that Xemnas actually may have had a keyblade but chose not to use it for reasons...

Fool. Well braig was pretty much possessed voluntarily, right? He may have just did it again after.

The scene in the beginning of KH3D meant to be what happened 11 years ago in BBS, then their nobodies were born, and after Sora and Riku killed them the somebodies revived in Kh3D at their same places.

Nothing is really fully explained. Lol. At least we have this website.
