Posted June 26, 201312 yr I am being honest about these pronunciations. I used to pronounce them 'before' as a kid. Zelda: Before/Now: Zel-da Link: Before/Now: Link Ganondorf: Before/Now Gan-on-dorf Bokoblin: Before: Bo-ko-blin. Now: Bok-kob-blin Skulltula: Before: Skull-too-luh. Now: Skull-chu-laa Chu-chu Before/Now: Choo Choo Deku Before: Dee-koo. Now: Deh-koo Kargaroc/k Before: Kug-gu-rowc Now: Kar-gaa-rock Keese: Before/Now: Keese Stalfos: Before: Stuff-fallz Now: Stall-foes How do YOU pronounce these names? Then and now?
June 26, 201312 yr Zelda: Zel-da Link: Link Ganondorf: Gan-on-dorf Bokoblin: Bok-koblin (like goblin with a k) Skulltula: Skull-to-la. I believe I pronounce it wrong and I know the right pronounciation (with a "C" sound) in my head, but when I actually say it out loud I always revert back to this. Chu-chu: Choo Choo Deku: Deck-koo Kargaroc: Kar-gaa-rock Keese: Keys Stalfos: Stall-foes I don't really have before and nows since even with other peoples different pronunciation I would revert to what I know and have always used
June 26, 201312 yr I've always pronounced Zelda weirdly as I'm from the south of the UK so a lot of people catch me out of it, I pronounce Zelda as Zel-DERRRRR which makes quite a number of people laugh

June 26, 201312 yr "Skulltula: Before: Skull-too-luh. Now: Skull-chu-laa" This is the only one I don't get. What is the difference between "too" and "chu"?
June 26, 201312 yr Author ... Am I the only one who still pronounces Deku as Dee-koo? ._. No. I get messed up and revert to either way sometimes.
June 26, 201312 yr No. I get messed up and revert to either way sometimes. Oh, phew, thought I was the only one... I learned it that way, so that's what I stick to. Not sure if there's a "proper" way to pronounce it or not.
