Why is it that in every game except the Numbered titles, we can't equip any other accessories other then a weapon?

I understand why we couldn't for COM, since, Castle Oblivion's rules. But in the other games we could've easily done that, yet the game doesn't let us. Why not?

I guess they were just experimenting with different elements and didn't feel the accessories and item slots were needed.  I don't doubt it'll be included in KH3 though

They'll definitely be in KH3, since its a numbered title.

But still, i think they should've been included at least in KH3D. BBS didn't need them since the D-Links already gave you abilities that could've easily been replaced with Accessories, but 3D should've had them i think.

Days allowed a single accessory to be placed on the grid but the items were pretty strong so allowing more then one would be overpowered. Recoded also had 4 accessory slots. Even though they do not increase stats, they give you passive abilities you could not get on the stat matrix.

I was about to mention Re:Coded's, actually. Forgot about Days. No clue why the others didn't have accessories, though.

its because of game data space. portable games dont have as much space as a dual layered dvd does.....

IDK Re:Coded and 358/2 Days had them, yet BBS and KH3D don't? BBS and KH3D definitely could've handled them.

In BbS Command Melding gives you passive abilities. In DDD Spirits do. My guess is that these passive ability replaced the ones accessories give you.

Good question. I miss accessories.
