Hey guys this is a story I started some time ago and have been wanting to share with the world for some time now. There won't be a lot of time between chapters because I've written most of it already. Basicly this is a remake of kh 358/2 days. I do not own the game at all. Square Enix does.

So enjoy!!

 

 

 

Axel had recieved orders from Xemnas immediatly when he got to Twilight Town. He stared at dumbly as his boss walked silently into a dark corridor and out of sight.

Axel thought of his orders. " Find the new member, take him back to the castle and bring him to me."

"Wow! Uh okay then..." he looked around, "Well first of all... Where is the new member?". No one was in sight. Axel knew that a newly awakened looked blank, weak, and emotionless so he wouldn't have any trouble finding him.

...

Axel had looked around town for a little while before he finally found who he was looking for. The boy was blank, jsut staring at a wall. He had a white shirt and tan pants on.

"There you are!" Axel yelled, "I've been looking everywhere for you!"

The boy gave no response.

"Whats your name?" Axel asked. Still the boy gave no response, he just stared at him. Axel sighed, "I'll ask again... What is your name?"

Finally the boy gave an answer, but his voice had little sound to it. "Rox-as...." he answered.

Axel smiled, "Okay Roxas, let's go home."

Roxas didn't move... Axel gave another sigh and said "Come on Roxas! If you come as a special treat I'll take you to see my secret place on the clock tower!".

Axel walked toward the candy and ice cream shop in the middle of the plaza, but when he looked back he saw that still Roxas hadn't moved. Axel let out yet another sigh.

"Geez guess I guess I have to." Axel went over to Roxas, grabbed his shoulder and pushed him along. Roxas turned and faced him with a look of surprise and distraut. Axel smiled "Come on....".

Roxas moved this time, slowly but surely.

Chapter 1 Awakening

 

Axel had brought Roxas back to the castle with him, and helped get him into the organization's signature outfit. Long black coat, black gloves, and boots (but Roxas wore sneakers instead). He led him into the Round Room, where all the other members had gathered and were sitting in very high chairs. Roxas' head turned sharply to see Axel disappear and reappear in his own chair.

Xenmas looked at him and smiled slightly before speaking, his voice was loud and empty.

"My friends.... Today is a very special day. Our eagerly awaited 13th member has finally arrived. What's the best part you ask me? Well he can use the keyblade and now we can finally accomplish our goals! So lets all give a welcome to #13 Roxas."

Then the room was filled with clapping.

After the meeting Axel brought Roxas to his room. "Get some sleep." he said softly, then he left. Roxas walked over to the bed and laid down on it. The bed was very hard and kind of lumpy, but Roxas could still feel himself drifting off into sleep.

The next day Axel came to his room and woke him up. He told him to go the lobby, and that he was supposed to go there everyday (except on days he got off) Roxas repeated this process for several days, but on the 6th day Roxas had a dream.

"I've been to see him...." the hooded man said in a empty tone, "He looks a lot like you."

"Who are you." Roxas asked softly. The hooded man spoke again,

"I'm what's left... Or maybe I'm all there ever was."

Roxas rolled his eyes, "I meant your name." he implied.

"My name is of no importance, but what about you? Do you remember your true name?"

He thought about the question " My true name is...."

And in a flash Roxas woke up. He felt very strange and cold, but he got up and headed to the lobby as usual. Then stared out the window at a dawn that would never come.

End Chapter 1

Oh and don't worry if this already sounds likes nothings changed from the original, don't worry it'll get different The overall story is the same but i just changed some things around and added some things.

[/align][align=left]On the 7th day roxas was woken up early by Axel as he always was.

"Time to get up Roxas!"

Reluctantly Roxas got out of bed, then looked at Axel.

"Today we are supposed to go to the Round Room today." Axel started.

"Round...Room?" Roxas asked in a soft voice.

"Yeah, apparently the big boss has big news. Ugh! What a pain!"

 

The Round Room was also known as the Meeting Room. It was the room with all the tall chairs.

Carefully Axel helped Roxas into the cold hard marble seat.

"Sit down and whatever you do DON'T fall!"

It was a long way down to the ground and falling was bnot something you wanted to do. At the ground #6 Zexion and #5 Lexaeus were talking.

"So... Number thirteen is still all hazy?" Zexion asked.

"Yes," Lexaeus answered, "He's not like us. He doesn't have memories from before he was born."

"Without a heart or memories... It will be a long time before he shows anykind of reaction to anything."

Then the meeting started.

Xemnas made the same kind of speech he made when Roxas arrived but the new member this time was #14. Roxas stared at #14 hard and thought... Was he like this when he first came to the organization? He didn't remember that well.

Then #14 turned it's head and looked at Roxas. The meeting was over and the other members started to disappear from their seats, one by one, but #14 just kept staring at Roxas. Then suddenly... Roxas passed out.

#14 watched as Roxas teetered and totered in his seat, then he fell over. He hit the floor hard. Head first, body second. #14 that was bad and ran out of the room. Upon finding Axel, #14 tugged at his hood. Axel turned around and saw #14 pointing at the Round Room, but it didn't talk though.

"What? The Round Room?"

#14 nodded and ran into the Round Room while Axel followed.

Axel gasped with surprise when he saw the unconcious Roxas on the ground.

"Did he fall?"

Again, another nod.

"Oh man!" he ran over to Roxas, "Thanks for letting me know!"

 

Axel carried Roxas to his room and put him down on his bed, trying to be careful with his injured head. Then let him be..

 

The next day when Roxas woke up he tried to lift his head but was rewarded with a sharp stab of pain. He fell back down on his pillow.

Just then Axel walked into the room.

"Hey! Take it easy ok? You hit your head really hard yesterday."

Roxas managed to say a few words through the pain, "What happened yesterday?"

"I don't really know, when I found you, you were lying on the floor in the Round Room. You fell out of your chair and hit your head on the floor, anyway come on we need to go to the lobby."

Axel helped Roxas out of bed and too the lobby. Then #7 Sa

[/align][align=left]The world that Roxas saw was Twilight Town.

"Your going to do your missions here for a while." Axel said.

Roxas didn't say anything.

"Whoa, hold your tongue there chatter box! Your talking my ear off!" Axel's voice dripped of sarcasm.

Still, Roxas didn't say anything.

"OK! Lets start with the basics of the basics. Missions are............ Um, um, AH! I don't want to talk anymore, so just follow me and jump to get up on this ledge where I'm standing.

Axel had NEVER seen Roxas move fast ever, but he kept up pretty good.

"Hey! Not bad! Now listen closely, there is a treasure chest located somewhere in these tunnels and I want you to find it. Oh! Also there are some crates and boxes throughout the tunnels and they'll be blocking your way, so you'll need to destroy them. Can you summon your keyblade for me?"

Roxas nodded, "Yeah.."

In a flash of bright light a giant key appeared in Roxas' hand, he stared at it.

"Wow," said Axel in amazement, "I can't believe you remembered how to do that. Anyway lets go find that treasure chest."

Roxas nodded again, and ran off. When he came to a locked gate he saw glowing button.

"What do these buttons do?" Roxas asked.

"Well press it and find out for yourself."

Roxas pushed the button and a gate opened.

"Well thats convenient!" he beamed.

The two ran about the tunnels pushing buttons and breaking crates until Roxas finally found the treasure chest. Axel smiled,

"Very good Roxas, you found it!"

Roxas looked at Axel confused, "So what do I do now?" he asked.

"Uh... Roxas there's this thing about chests... There's stuff inside of them!"

"So... I open it?"

"Yes!"

Roxas opened the chest which contained a potion.

"Can I keep it?"

"Yup!"

"Cool!"

"You can keep anything you find in chests on missions you know?"

Roxas smiled "Awesome!"

Axel smile too. "Now we RTC."

"RTC?" Roxas asked.

"Return to castle"

"Ohhhhhhhh...."

Axel looked around, "We need to find the dark corridor in which we came in."

"Right."

When Roxas found the dark corridor Axel clapped his hands.

"So how did you like your first mission Roxas?"

Roxas crossed his arms, "Easy... I coulda done that blindfolded."

"Well mister smarty pants I'm glad you liked it." But when he looked back at Roxas , he saw that he was sitting on the ground groaning and holding his head.

"Hey its ok we're done, lets go and get some ice cream! A hard days work needs a little "icing on the cake"!"

Roxas looked up. " B-but aren't we supposed to RTC?"

"Nah we can do that later, come on."

So Roxas followed Axel.

The reason I'm adding the next chapter to this post is becuz I don't want to double post Anyway heres chapter 4!!!

[/align][align=left]"Here you go!" said Axel as he handed Roxas his ice cream.

"Thanks."

THe two were sitting on top of the station clock tower, staring at the sunset. Roxas took a bite of his ice cream, "Mmmmm... Its salty... but sweet."

"Do you remember what this ice cream is called Roxas?"

"Uhhhhhhhhhh.... Well.."

"Sea Salt Ice Cream! Get it memorized!"

"Haha ok."

Axel looked up and sighed, "So what has it been, a week since you showed up?"

Roxas shook his head, "I don't know."

"Well thats much of an answer... Hey Roxas?"

"Yeah?"

"Lets come up here everyday and eat ice cream ok? Its just really boring coming back and forth to and from the castle all the time without something in between right?"

Roxas nodded, "Yeah... I guess."

 

The next couple of days just dragged on, getting up with a hurting head and going on training missions with the other members.

But on the third week... It was night and Roxas was trying to fall asleep. Suddenly a horrible pain struck him. Roxas tried not to scream, he didn't want to wake up any of the other members. Especially Larxene. She was vicious most of the time, but if you interrupted her "Beauty Sleep"......... Well, you really don't want to know...

The pain lasted all night so Roxas got no sleep. By morning the pain was too unbearable, he screamed.

Almost immediately people came busting into the the room. Axel came too, but so did... Larxene.... She stomped up to his bed and before she could do anything Xigbar restrained her. Roxas watched as she walked angrily out of the room, mumbling mean words as she went.

One by one the members started pouring into the room, the last person who came was... Xemnas. He walked over to Roxas and looked at him. Roxas opened his eyes again to look back. Roxas' eyes were looped and baggy. From the lack of sleep. He was breathing heavily as a look of pain washed over his face, making his eyes close again. Xemnas looked at Saix and said, "Take all missions off of Roxas' schedule ok?"

"Yes sir."

Saix walked out of the room, yelling out, "OK everyone out! Give Roxas some air!". The room was cleared almost instantly. Xemnas looked back at Roxas, he had fallen asleep. Axel had stayed behind and was watching, Xemnas looked at him and said, "Axel, stay with Roxas and make sure he is comfortable ok?"

"Yes sir."

 

Axel went to go get Roxas some aspirin when he woke up, since he only slept ten minutes he had to get something that would put him out. He was also getting cranky, which wasn't good.

When Axel walked back into Roxas room and read the label on the back.

"This will put you out for 5-6 hours Roxas." he told him.

"I'm looking forward to it..." he said glumly.

Roxas took one and fell asleep almost instantly, and he stayed asleep until the beginning of the next day.

 

Roxas woke up to a blurry room. Everything was fuzzy. When the room started to come into focus he could make out a figure standing a few feet away from his bed. He realized it was Xion.

"WHOA!" Roxas yelled, startled.

Xion jumped back, surprised as well.

"Oh sorry... I didn't know you were there." Roxas said sheepishly.

Xion didn't say anything.

"I thought you were Axel..."

Then Saix came into the room. "Axel's left for Castle Oblivion today. You aren't going to see him for a while." Then he left.

"Uh ok..."

Then Xion spoke.

"R-Roxas?"

"Y-yes?" Roxas asked, dumbfounded.

"Thats your name, right?"

"Uh, yeah."

"Is Axel your friend?"

"Yeah... I guess so, is there something wrong with that?" Roxas rubbed the back of his head.

"No... It's just... Do you think you and I could be friends too?"

Roxas looked away, he didn't know what to say.

"Uh... Yeah, s-sure."

"Thank you Roxas."

He turned to look back at her, "Your wel-"

Xion's hood was down! Roxas stared in amazement. With her hood down she looked like a normal girl and somehow... Strangely familiar...

[/align][align=left]Xigbar opened the dark corridor right outside Roxas' room, he opened the door and Xion ran in. She found Roxas sleeping inside, but something wasn't right.... Xigbar was right... He was in a coma...

"You just can't win can you?" she whispered.

Xigbar stepped out of the room and called back, "Hey I'm leavin' ok!?"

"Ok!" she called back without even looking. Xion knelt beside his bed, and started to gently stroked his hair.

Xion cared for Roxas all that night, until she finally feel asleep. She heard the faint tapping of footsteps in the hall but she didn't know who's they were.

 

Days passed...

 

Xion woke up to a room, it wasn't hers though. She was lying on a bed, Roxas' bed... And Roxas was right beside her still sleeping as he was before. She had spent her nights taking care of him, and spent her days going on her mission then going to the beach to pick up a single sea shell, which she would then lay beside Roxas' pillow. To mark the days of that he had been asleep. There were a out 30 now...

"I have to go on my mission now Roxas. See you later."

Maybe 2 hours after she had left that day, Roxas finally opened his eyes for the first time in almost 4 weeks. He felt horrible and groggy, and very very hungry. He noticed beside his pillow were about 30 small sea shells.

"What the heck?" he thought. He shook his head

"I'm starving..."

Roxas started to walk to the lobby, but on his way there, he suddenly felt dizzy and nauseous. So he leaned against a wall for awhile.

"What happened yesterday?" he wondered out loud.

When he finally reached the lobby, he saw that nobody was there.

"I need ice cream..."

 

Roxas sat atop the clocktower, eating ice cream and looking down apon Twilight Town. Then he heard a voice,

"Roxas?!"

Roxas turned around to find out it was Xion. He frowned and asked,

"Xion... What happened to me?"

She sat down and started to eat her own ice cream.

"I don't know to be honest... You fell into a coma and was asleep for ages."

Roxas stared, mouth open wide,

"C-coma!? Ages!? So it wasn't yesterday!" he shook his head, "Ugh! I feel like a zombie, I guess there are things a long nap can't fix huh?"

Xion laughed causing Roxas to laugh too. Xion told Roxas what he had missed until a feeling came over them. They suddenly felt differently about each other. Like someone elses feelings had taken over them.

They moved closer to each other slowly. Xion closed her eyes as she felt Roxas' soft lips go over hers. She knew whay this was called. They were kissing!!

His kiss was so gentle yet so firery. She could feel her fingers going through his soft golden hair and his arms wrapping around her.

Then it abruptly stopped! They pulled away from each other quickly.

Roxas' face was bright red and his eyes were trying to focus.

"Wha-what did we just d-do?" he asked in a shakey voice.

Xion was trying to hide her bright red face too,

"I-I don't k-know..." she answered.

"I'm going back to the castle." said Roxas, "I have to tell everyone I'm awake.".

 

Roxas was still red when he entered the castle lobby that same day. Sa
