    Funny I was actually thinking about this today. I think nowadays we are to busy wasting our time.

    I can't say for sure. Video games have made a good impact in terms of entertainment and technology.

    But I don't think enough to make the world a better/worse place.

    With the exception of kingdom hearts (a game which turns wild murderers into fluffy rabbits) I do think that gaming in general produces a more lethargic population.

    It really depends on what subject you are talking about, but if it is general then yes it has made it a better place. It is an art and a hobby that is very enjoyable and releases stress so to a individual it can make an impact, but not really an impact on the entire world besides the fact you can connect and play with others within our planet and all that.

    We don't know what the world would be without them. Hard to say.

     

    I assume 'we' is refering to people born after video games were made, right?
