The village of Catelia Isle was set ablaze as innocent people scream, and perish in the flames as monsters enter the village killing innocent people. Above the flames the smoke form a great giant evil like woman as she evilly laughs with her red eyes glowing about to completely destroyed the town till Luna wakes up gasping for air. She heard the bell of the tower ringing for morning hours as Luna walk to her window, and open it seeing the village, and coast. "What is that dream about?" Luna asked herself till she heard a knock no her door hearing the voice of her grandfather Cid. "Come in." Luna said after hearing Cid's voice.

Luna nodded. "We should go to the village to stock up on potion, and equipment. I would have to tell my grandfather Cid about the journey." Luna said to Gidolfin, and Amriel.

Aura was already inside the temple, listening to the conversation of those who were inside. hiding behind a pilar."So this girl is Athane's chosen? She is one of the next Warriors of Light" she thought.Maybe that girl would be the key to find Athane, or even the archangel who was with her and the other man."Perhaps I should keep and eye on them, just in case" she said while jumping down, landing in complete silence so the others didn't noticed her.

"Not quite the details I was hoping for, but certainly a start." Gidolfin admitted. "Since we are apparently in on this capper, we can get to your village with our airship. Amriel, if you could show are new friend to the Dragonfly and get her to tell you where her village is."

Amriel nodded and gestured to show the way to the Dragonfly's hatch for Luna.

Gidolfin turn away from Luna and Amriel, feeling rather impressed by whoever was listening in on their conversation. He hadn't caught direct sight of the person nor heard anything, but he had seen enough blurred movement out of the corner of his eyes to feel confident that something was out there. It could be some sort of animal, but that's where his sixth sense added its input. As he had told Amriel many times, the Treasure Hunter who didn't develop an instinctual sixth sense was on the fast track to becoming a former Treasure Hunter. He had no idea where the unseen listener was now, but he wasn't too worried. Either the person was a threat and would attack or he/she/whatever was going to be helpful somehow.

"Sure hope your village isn't too far." He called to Luna, perhaps a bit louder than necessary.

"Its past the woods, and right there." Luna said pointing out at the village were she lives. "We even have a statue of Athane that we always prayed to every morning." Luna said

"Well, that should save on fuel." Gidolfin observed.

Amriel noticed an odd tone in her partner's voice. He had something on his mind.

"How about you get the Dragonfly ready while I go with our young friend."

She smiled at Luna.

"I'm Amriel, by the way. And my partner is Gidolfin."

"Nice to meet you Amriel, and Gidofin. Well follow me Amriel." Luna said walking back into the woods.

Aura looked like she was floating instead of walking, not making any noise to alert anyone of her presence, she was already outside the temple looking for her trustworthy companion."Chichiri, where are you? It is almost time to go"the chocobo came running from out of nowhere towards Aura."Easy easy" she laughed. "I think our next destination is the island of Infernia. Apparently Athane's chosen needs to recover the Crystal of Fire"The chocobo nudged his head against Aura."Oh? So you want to stay here? Well, I guess I can go alone and you could take some free time. Besides, I have to take care of some things in Infernia"Aura patted Chichiri's head and smile."Alright partner, you can go. I need to find out what our young heroine and her new friends are up to."The chocobo nodded and ran away while Aura continued her walk in the forest.

Amriel followed after Luna towards the village.

"What will you be needing to get?" She asked politely.

Gidolfin, on the other hand, walked to his ship and checked to make sure it was ready to fly with brief pauses to study some interesting bit of nature that caught his eye. He thought he saw some more movement, but couldn't be sure where it was now.

"Well since its a long journey will have to get potions, tents, and better defense equipment." Luna said as they enter the village.

"It will be shorter by using the Dragonfly." Amriel put in. "Though it is prudent to get supplies, just in case."

She took in a deep breath then let it out slowly.

"Life rarely hands you what you expect."

"I even have to let my grandfather Cid know so that he doesn't worry about me." Luna said to Amriel.

On her way through the forest Aura got a glimpse of Gidolfin."I wonder if I should offer them my help. Perhaps that man will find it suspicious that I offer my help out of nowhere" she then sighed while looking at the airship and its owner."Athane's chosen...That girl is bound to accept my help because it would be dangerous to obtain the Crystal of Fire with just two allies" she nodded. "Alright, I will keep my observations for now" Aura kept hidden among the trees.

Amriel nodded then paused. She knew that name from somewhere.

"Does...your grandfather travel much?" She asked Luna, trying to grasp a reason she knew the name.

Gidolfin stopped. More movement. Still no true sighting. He was beginning to like this person. Deciding to stop beating about the bush, he went inside his ship. A short time later, he exited the ship carrying a folding table and two folding chairs. He set them up, then went back inside. A moment later, he came out with two glasses and a jug of something green. He put them on the table, poured himself a drink and sat down. He glanced around at the area casually as he took a sip from his drink.

"He use to in his young days after he created his airship Heaven's Light." Luna said explaining about her grandfather Cid.

Amriel stopped a moment, then smiled.

"That Cid." She said. "Interesting. Gidolfin is going to be disappointed his missed the opportunity to meet you grandfather."

"Yep. Lets go get the stuff we need for the journey, see Cid, and head back to the Dragonfly." Luna said

Aura was sitting on a tree branch watching Gidolfin. The man went into, possibly, his airship a couple of times, first carrying a folding table and two folding chairs then a second time with two glasses and a jug of green liquid."Oh?" Aura tilted her head curiously. "Would you look at that. Maybe I should introduce myself then"she then jumped down the tree and landed without making a single noise.

"Lead the way then." Amriel told Luna. "I can help you with your supplies."

Gidolfin saw Aura land. He stood up and clapped.

"Bravo!" He called to her.

He gave her a slight bow.

"I pride myself on being hard to sneak up on, but that pride seems to be somewhat unfounded. I congratulate you, madam."

He sat down again.

"My name is Gidolfin, though I think you already heard that. I take it that since you haven't started shooting me or what ever, you are at least civil. Care for some lime aid?"

Aura tilted her head."Why thank you, Gidolfin." she gave him a small smilethen bowing slightly at him."It will be my pleasure to join you"Aura said while walking towards the folding chair and then sit down.  "Although my ability to remain unseen wasn't of much use since you managed to discover my presence"She then filled the glass with some of the green liquid."Since you were nice enough to give me your name I will give you mine. My name is Aura Aeterna but mercenaries around the world know me as "Finis", you can call me however you like" Aura then drank some of her drink.

Gidolfin raised his eye brows.

"I've heard a few things about a Finis from some acquaintances in that business." He said. "Though, Aura seems a bid more poetic. If you don't mind me asking, what brings you here? Did you get drawn into this Athane mission as well?"

Luna bought multiple potions, tents, and ethers. "There is this good enough?" Luna asked

Aura smiled."I must be getting famous"she took another sip of her drink and looked to her side."While I am not sure as to why I came here...let us say that I felt I was needed" she sighed. "Perhaps you and your friends need some help? If that is the case then I would gladly offer you mine"

Amriel took a quick inventory of Luna's purchases.

"That should be good, to start." She answered. "There will be other villages and towns we can buy supplies from closer to our destination, if need be. We should have enough food and water on the ship."

With a sigh, Gidolfin nodded.

"It does certainly look that way, doesn't it?" He replied to Aura. "Though, the young lady might be a better one to ask. It is apparently her quest."

Aura nodded."I suppose you're right. Then I hope it is no problem if I wait here for her" she said to Gidolfin.

Luna nodded as they went to go see Cid. She explain everything about her destiny that Cid approved, and wish them good luck. They headed back to the Dragonfly seeing Gidolfin, some girl.
