The village of Catelia Isle was set ablaze as innocent people scream, and perish in the flames as monsters enter the village killing innocent people. Above the flames the smoke form a great giant evil like woman as she evilly laughs with her red eyes glowing about to completely destroyed the town till Luna wakes up gasping for air. She heard the bell of the tower ringing for morning hours as Luna walk to her window, and open it seeing the village, and coast. "What is that dream about?" Luna asked herself till she heard a knock no her door hearing the voice of her grandfather Cid. "Come in." Luna said after hearing Cid's voice.

Gidolfin nodded.

"Might as well." He told Aura.

He was a little surprise when Luna and Amriel came back a short time later.

"I thought you were preparing things." He said, giving his partner a questioning look.

"Whirl wind tour." She answered as her eyes fell on Aura. "And your friend?"

"Her name is Aura. She mentioned something about helping out."

"Already did, and you miss the chance to meet my grandfather Gido." Luna said

Gidolfin raised an eye brow.

"Her grandfather is Cid." Amriel cut in before Gidolfin could speak. "The one you told me about."

A look of comprehension came across Gidolfin's face.

"Oh." He said, now looking a little disappointed.

Aura was looking at Luna, wondering what to do.

"I can't wait to find out the true extent of Athane's chosen's abilities" she thought to herself while taking a look at Luna

"Hi there" Luna said seeing the black hair girl.

Aura nodded and gave Luna a small smile."Greetings young girl. I managed to hear that you are in need of help to retrieve the Crystal of Fire and while I do not know the reason why I am here, I would like to offer you my help" she said to Luna. 

Amriel smiled slightly after hearing Aura's admission that she didn't know why she was here. The path was being laid ahead. Gidolfin was having the same thoughts, though it was with a more ominous tone in his head.

"I hope you bought more proten bars." Gidolfin murmured to Amriel.

Luna nodded politiely to her.

" *Gudineti " was Aura's answer.

She was surprised that this girl was so quick to trust her.

"Well since I will be traveling together with you I will introduce myself." she then bowed at Luna. "My name is Aura Aeterna, wandering swordswoman, mercenary and thief" then held her hand out towards Luna. "It is a pleasure to met you Miss?"

"Nice to meet you too. I'm Luna Denisila." Luna said as she puts her sword in a cover sword board next to her hip.

"And this is Amriel." Gidolfin introduced his partner, indicating her with a wave of his hand. "The new captain of the Dragonfly, by all accounts."

Amriel grimaced. Gidolfin was going into one of his moods. She should have talked with him about this. She had just signed them both up for a dangerous mission. Even if she had to go, he didn't.

"Like I could fly her." She snapped at him.

Being nice and sympathetic were useless when Gidolfin was like this.

"If you are concerned about this mission, Captain, it is your choice whether to take iton or not."

Her features softened a little.

"You don't have to go with me, Gidolfin. You have already done a lot for me, I can't ask more." She said softly.

Gidolfin snorted.

"And leave my partner high and dry on some mystic quest, I think not." He replied, some playfullness in his voice. "I don't abandon members of my own crew, especially since you are the only one."

The Treasure Hunter stood up and gave Aura and Luna a smile.

"Ready to go, ladies?"

(Another member just join so we have to wait for her.)

 

"Hang on I think theres someone near." Luna said to the crew.

Mira smiled leaving the shadows she was hiding in.

"You have a good eye, I was sure I was well hidden."

She glanced at all the people in front of her.

"I was tracking you guys for a while now, trying to figure out whether you would harm me or not. I've been looking for a little adventure, being cooped up in the temple of Athane for so long. What are you guys planning?" Mira asked. "And mind if I tag along?"

"Sure you could join in the adventure." Luna said to Mira.

"Well, the more the merrier, right? Aura said.Apparently this was going to be the beginning of their quest. Whatever waited for the group was a mystery, one that Aura was eager to reveal."I can't wait to take a ride on that airship" she said while looking at the Dragonfly.

"Anymore, and you'll have to start charging passenger rates?" Amriel said before Gidolfin could.

The Treasure Hunter flashed his partner a smile and wink.

"Well at least for the bags of peanuts." He joked.

He turned his smile to Mira.

"Kind of wished you had gotten here earlier. Would have saved on introductions."

"Yep so were ready?" Luna asked

Aura did well to hold a laugh for Amriel and Gidolfin's little joke."Alright joking aside, we really need to get going, the Crystal of Fire isn't going to be retrieved alone"She turned to Mira."And in case you didn't listened before, my name is Aura Aeterna. Now" she looked at everyone. "Shall we begin?"

"Indeed." Gidolfin said, agreeing with Aura.

He grabbed the jug he had brought out and handed it to Amriel. He then collapsed the small table he had set up, then, getting a good hold on it, took the jug back from Amriel.

"If you could get the chairs, I'll start the preflight checks."

Amriel nodded and her partner headed into the Dragonfly. She quickly collected and folded up the chairs then smiled at the others.

"If you would like to board our airship, the Dragonfly, we will be airborn shortly."

Luna enter the Dragonfly first.

Aura looked behind her."I wonder if Chichiri will be alright." she shrugged. "Who am I kidding, that chocobo will find his way back to me somehow"she then walked into the Dragonfly."This is going to be an exciting journey that's for sure"

Gidolfin had already put the table an jug away in a hold and was now on the bridge, starting the checks.

The Dragonfly was a medium sized airship, with enough cabins to support six people. There was a dining/living area, a small armory/workshop and a couple holds for cargo.

"The two cabins closest to the bridge are taken." He called back to the others. "But the others are free. Pick one you like."

Aura glanced at the workshop on her way to one of the cabins."I suppose I will take the one closest to the workshop, it would come handy if I need to craft or repair my weapons."she then went inside the cabin and looked around."This will be perfect" she nodded while putting her bow against the wall and a pair of daggers on the bed but keeping her gunblade strapped to her waist. Then poked her head outside. "I'll take this one, I hope you don't mind"

Luna found a empty room that reminds her of the ocean, and sky. She sat on her bed, and look out the window trying to think of what Athane said to her.

Gidolfin got up and looked down the corridor when Aura called out. When he saw her face sticking out of the door, he gave her a thumbs up sign.

"That should be good." He said. "Just don't get to annoyed if you here me in the work shop in the mornings. Tinkering with devises is a hobby."

 

Amriel checked the outside of the ship to make sure The Dragomfly was good to go. When she made it back to the door, she smiled at Mira.

"Don't worry, The Dragonfly is a sound ship." She said. "She won't let up down."
