Now it's just:  Oh, how I miss those days...

Volumes 1-27 were the best. I do not like shippuden, if the series would have kept to the way it was in the earlier volumes it may have well made it to my top three, but it did not.

Shippuden's still awesome too... -_- Honestly, I like it more than the original series.

Yeah I remember those days of old but Naruto's still somewhat good (not as good as one piece but whatever) but it still has a likable  story I guess, you know with some plot twists that don't make sense like tobi being obito and everyone and their mother calling it but people    like me hoped he wasn't but whatever, at least sasuke's back which I also called but whatever,.....................

You know what Naruto has gotten worst with shippuden but whatever let's just hope the final chapters of the story can somewhat change it around from people leaving it out *cough one piece x dragon ball z x toriko cough* Yeah Naruto step your game up the war has have so many plot twist callable accept the hokages coming back. Yeah Naruto's a little iffy right now

At least Shippuden is somewhat good. I mean it's not as great as the previous, but I find it enjoyable.

I don't see why Part 1 was so great to some. It had way too many flashbacks, some explaining what JUST HAPPENED, the humor was very immature (farting on someone's nose to win a match, seriously?), huge lack of Itachi or the uniqueness the akatsuki members bring, Naruto would shout like half his lines and was such a brat, his "MY dick is bigger than Yours" contest with Sasuke was unoriginal and uninspired, the jutsus were so basic and the plot sometimes moved at a snails pace.Shippuden is far better as far as I'm concerned. Although I'll admit Part 1 had better writing, Sasuke was much more likeable and one or two other things above Part 2.

I haven't really watched Naruto after the Chunin Games or Exams things. I just thought it got so complicated so I just rewatched those and played the games. I still have Naruto Clash of Ninjas 1 and 2 for my Gamecube, They were so amazing

I guess I miss the old days too... Their "superpowers" can distract from a good plot, indeed... But I still think Naruto is awesome!

That is part of it being a shonen. I personally do not care for shonen, for one the plot lines bore me like a movie. I do see your point though.

I prefer seinen or corocoro.

I used to love naruto. I remember on saturday nights, waiting anxiously with my nose on the screen and eyes on the clock waiting for it to start. The story for a while rivaled VERY VERY closely with kh for me in how much I loved it. But when sasuke left and all this other stuff happened, it didnt live up to my expectations and the story for me really fell flat. I couldnt get into it, when shippuden came along.

Pretty much this for me too. I kinda kept up with shippuden though, and I'm all caught up on the anime as of a few weeks ago ( barring some filler). I don't know if it's my nostalgia goggles or what but Part I hit more notes to me than Shippuden does.

I HAVE SPOKEN!!

I remember the good ol' days of original Naruto. Of course we can still watch them on Toonami on saturdays at 12am. 

 

But everyone grows up, and so did some or most of the characters in the series. The Naruto series is now at the climax. This indicates that in one to two years, we may see the end of the series. I hope it ends well.

 

Speaking of the video, it looks like Naruto might still have Sasuke's old headband, I have a funny feeling that

 

Naruto would return the headband to Sasuke if he's going to be protecting the village that Itachi left behind
