Hey there everyone, how's it going? You know, just yesterday I beat Final Fantasy XIII-2, which I have to say was one incredible experience. When I bought the game for the first time, I witnessed the grueling battle between Lightning and Caius in the realm of Valhalla, where time, life and death don't exist. I was immediately drawn into the game, impressed with its premise and intrigue. As I kept playing, I re familiarized myself with the fast and fluid gameplay, and I got immersed in Serah's quest to bring back her sister, who everyone presumes is dead. I played the game for months, collecting fragments here and there, and suffering furious losses and the necessity to grind. But what really struck me in the end wasn't Serah and Noel's culmination of their quest, but rather, what stuck with me the most was Caius' motivations for doing everything he did to save Yeul.He did everything in his power, even if it meant the destruction of time and space and himself, and the fact that he had to see many Yeuls die over and over was really sad. From that moment on, I felt more respect towards Caius than ever before. (And it's not just because the final boss battle is with three badass Bahamut dragons.). And when I saw how the ending shifted from happy to grim, dark and tragic, I couldn't help but let myself a big grin. Not only was the ending grim and tragic, but Caius got what he wanted: the death of the goddess Etro, and before the credits rolled in, the last thing I saw was Lightning frozen in crystal slumber. I've got to say that I really enjoyed this game, and now that I've finished it, I'm even more excited for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. So tell me everyone, did you play XIII-2? And if you did, what did you think of it? :)

I thought of it in the way you did. I loved it, and i cant wait for LR FF XIII. If you want to know why Lightning is in Crystal, look up videos for the Lightning's Episode: Requiem of the Goddess DLC, or buy it and play it yourself.

same here.   i beat vthe story within 5 days.  just fell in love with the game.  halfway through the fragments.  like 81. i got to say that i'm pumped for lightning returns.  caius was an awsome villain.  his plan was understandable but he did it for the wrong reasons.

It was one hell of a fantastic game, it was like 13 with that added spark that turns it into a final fantasy classic, memorable defined villain, good humour, good story, good gameplay, good soundtrack, beautiful, replay value and over all value for money.

I loved it. The ending really caught me off guard, and now here I am patiently waiting for Lightning Returns. ^ _ ^

I loved it bro! Hey did you get the other endings and are you gonna get Requiem of The Goddess yo?

But you don't have to lol at the poor guy for liking it.

I hate Sonic 06 and the first XIII but I never gone out of my way to be a complete asshole to the people who liked it.

Man the similarity between the Sonic fanbase and the FF fanbase is unbelievable

lollololololI I am not part of the ff fanbase xD I love a good jrpg, but ff13-2 is the first ff I have ever played and it will most certainly be my last. so no it is not a biased opinion based on shitty fanboyism/fanbase ties

Well if you want a good JRPG

Play games like Persona, the early FF games,Xenoblade,Dragon Quest.....etc

don't just pick a recent entyr and then judge an entire genre based on how bad the game you played

not all JRPGs like XIII-2,99% of them are completely different
