SEGA of Japan has just purchased a new domain. What does that mean? Nothing in itself, but when taking a look at the URL...

It leads to a blank page, of course... for now.
We discovered this through some paperwork that is under the name of SEGA of Japan that has been floating around, which I guess is some sort of sheet they had to fill out in order to buy the domain.. The paper work says nothing about the game, except the paperwork also mentions, in detail, how game programmers, game software, and disks along with cartridges and digital device usage are all included as part of this trademark.

I swear this IGN review has been done by a guy who never played a Sonic game before

Sonic 4 was bad....very bad and hated by everyone in the Sonic community.

 

And by the way....when someone gave a garbage game like Kane and Lynch 2 in both IGN and Gamespot a high score(I think you remember what happened at Gamespot) and brand every single Sonic game as a bad one.....I just won't believe they're credible.

 

And no,they're not doing their job,they're bribed to give high score for those who pays them(hence why games like Kane & Lynch 2,Resident Evil 6 and Ninja Gaiden 3 get high scores) and whoever the company that doesn't pay that good reviews fee they just slam random low scores with no logic and lots on contradictions in their reviews.

 

What I'm afraid off is that those reviews might sway some people from buying what could be a great game

The Sonic game that is the most highly-praised by IGN is on an unpopular parallel to the GameBoy Colour. I doubt that you can trust them to know what they are doing when it comes to reviews.

They are not telling you what to think. Only all of the players of one game or series can determine whether or not its performance has been satisfactory; no number of critics can.

Sonic Blast, for example, is a game that I know full well has not been well-received by critics, but that has not stopped me from enjoying its gameplay, as well as some parts of its soundtrack.

They say it sucks automatically because it's on the Wii U.

 

Not because the game is good or bad....not because they've tried it or not....they just say just like Bayonetta 2.....that it sucks because it's on the Wii U

As a Sonic fan whose faith wasnt even shaken by 06, I think Lost World doesnt look too good. The whole 3D planet thing just doesnt feel right with Sonic. Im gonna get the game for 3DS, but so far this doesnt look like a great game

And this is why the Sonic fanbase is horrible. They ALWAYS have something to complain about in a Sonic game no matter how hard Sega tries to please them. I've liked Heroes, Adventure/2, and even '06! (I know, its weird, but I've always sort of liked playing '06, and have no idea why.) Anyways, my point is, people have the tenancy compare with a previous title that had different gameplay. Example, people comparing Unleashed to Sonic 3k. This is one of the most non-sensical comparisons I've ever seen in my life.They're ridiculously different from each other,this is like comparing Crash Bandicoot to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde!

 

I'm one of those guys who prefer 3D Sonic over the 2D ones...that doesn't mean I don't like them no no no,I love the Genesis trilogy and I love lots of 3D Sonic

Exactly. I actually liked Shadow the Hedgehog as well. I would've liked it better if it had one ending, with lots of different levels, but I thought it was fun. I haven't played Colors, Secret Rings, Unleashed, or Black Knight yet, but I want to play at least two of them

I got Sonic Lost World today for the 3DS and I think it's fantastic. The music and gameplay are spot on. The controls were a little confusing for me at first, but I'm getting the hang of it.

I can't wait to get the Wii U version of the game ^_^
