Have a listen, it is from ff7 and although it never seems to make it into orchestral medleys it is one of the finest pieces of music in final fantasy. Its got so much depth, Its definetly not a happy piece of music but it does have that feeling of drudging up an old painful memory but at the same time getting over it and learning to live with it.

 

The notes are of a subtle nature but the way they blend and contrast to give continuing and changing depth make it have more of a emotional and powerful impact than many of the series' excellent tracks.
