Well, whaddaya know, they did boost the rating to T. So, I guess it's on Eshop now. Can't wait until I get my Wii U!

O_O WHAT THE HELL? Why is it rated T for Teen? It should be rated E 10+. But whatever. If Earthbound got a T rating, Mother 3 if its ever localized will DEFINITELY GET A T RATING.

EarthBound's T for Giygas probably. Nothing gets past the ESRB anymore, they even rated Kirby 64 E10+ now. It doesn't really matter much anyway, most fans of the game are at least 10, and would probably be allowed to play it.

EarthBound was for SNES, Mother 1 was on NES.

Awesome! Finally gonna get chance to play Earthbound! When playing Super Smash Bros I always wanted to play the game Ness came from (I found out later )!

I never thought this day would come... I'm so freaking excited! I'm trying to get a Wii U around Christmas, this is a must-buy.

I screamed out loud when i saw the nintendo direct today. They said it would be released in december so i was suprised. I hope to get a wii u in the next month and you can be sure this is the first vc game i'm getting

I was surprised, I didn't scream or anything. It's probably because I saw the trailer before I knew there was a Nintendo Direct. I was glad to see it though! I still remember when they announced the VC release back in April, I was in school at the time so I had to hold back shouting. When I got home, I went all out in describing my excitement to my family. This will definitely be my first VC game, and one of my first Wii U games!

It's more of a port than a remake. I still want to see all three Mother games remade for 3DS though.

Uh... How is it a remake? It's exactly the same as the SNES version... They don't remake games on virtual console.
