Kingdom Hearts: Dark Uprising (RP)

Allitt entered the academy's meeting room, following her teacher's instructions. She'd been told to convene here with a group of fellow students for an important mission. "What kind of important mission would they be assigning to someone like me, who isn't even a proper Keyblade Master yet...?" Allitt asked herself aloud as she leaned against a nearby wall. Her teacher wasn't there, so she had time to relax before things started. She summoned her Keyblade, and stared at it for a moment. Not like she had anything else to do while she waited.

(By the way, all the heroes got the same instructions as Allitt, if they're from the academy anyway.)

(Uh... Ghost went to the other Twilight Town, Jack came back to the real world, stormed off, got rid of all of the Nobodies, and now he's dying or something. Oh, and Joel followed him, so he's there too.)

(Oh ok then. Ill run into the room where you guys are then.)

Lucas ran into the room where Joel and Jack were. "Sorry guys, i fell asleep while waiting for you, Jack." He noticed blood coming from Jack's mouth as Joel gave him an Elixir and his eyes widened. "HOLY CRAP, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?"

Jack took the elixir and drank it, coughing some of the liquid off as he started feel much better.  "That's much better."  Jack looked at Lucas, another student, barging in asking him an obvious question.  "I eliminated our problem, but they'll be back.  I just temporarily sealed them in the Realm Between," Jack answered, getting up and taking his seat again.

Tch, who is he to be telling me what I should be doing? Jack thought to himself.  I've had enough of these high and might people thinking they can just do whatever they feel.  If they don't want me here then that's fine.  I'm out.  And with Jack's closing thoughts, he took the beam back to the real Twilight Town, very irritated by Rei, Eon, Ghost and their associates.

Jack entered the lab room with another random person who looked to be associated with Ghost.  He shrugged it off and saw Joel and the others.  "Thanks for coming back for me," Jack uttered, passing Joel on the way.  "The real people of Twilight Town are in there," Jack began, stopping before passing the doorway.  "They're involved in some contingency plan.  Apparently, everything's been handled by our fellow classmates and whoever they are," he finished his sentence looking at Spirit.  "We've been tasked to save the worlds from whatever this threat is, I don't need babysitting from you bunch.  This is our Mark of Mastery.  OURS and ours alone."  Jack created a corridor of darkness and went straight in, leading him back to the main room of the mansion.

Joel watched as Jack opened a corridor of darkness and left the room. What the- he exclaimed in his mind. Joel ran out of the lab and made his way back up into the library. Once he got to the main hall, he saw a shadow recede into a nearby hallway. He also noticed that all of the Nobodies were gone. All of them. Joel wondered if it was Jack who had cleaned up the place. If so, he thought, then this guy is...

Joel went down the hallway until he reached a door. Joel tried the doorknob. Drat. Locked. Joel hopped back, summoned his Keyblade, and pointed it at the keyhole of the door. A light shot out of his Keyblade and hit the door, unlocking it. He then slowly opened the door.

Joel gasped. The entire room and everything in it was pure white. Everything, except for Jack, who sat in a chair, Keyblade in hand; he was exhausted, his eyes looking down.

"You should know that it's pointless to lock a door when there're Keyblade wielders about. Anyway... are you okay? What happened in there?"

Completing the repairs in the digital Twilight Town, Jack immediately took off into the real world as Ghost finalized the repairs. "But... but... I need to test the darn thing. Ah well, looks like it works. Alright, looks like the makeshift repairs are complete. You can start the evac back to the real world now, Mr. Wynter. I gotta go and follow that guy, who knows what he'll end up doing next. Ghost, Out!" Tapping a button on the tablets that he had hooked up to the machine, a beam of light transferred him back into the real world.

"Welcome back, Ghost!" Spirit yelled as he greeted him. "Link established, and the connection looks stable. Nice work!"

"Thanks, where did Jack run off to?"

"I don't know, but sensors indicate a dark portal had opened up not too long ago."

Ghost clenched his teeth at the possibilities of the news. "Spirit. Our work here is done. Spread out, find out where he went. I got a bad feeling about this." The three Commandos nodded, then immediately fanned out of the room, quickly and efficiently checking every room in the mansion for the missing person. It didn't take long before Shadow barged into the room Jack, Lucas and Joel were in. Relieved, he immediately notified the others. "Shadow here, found the student. Looks like he's been recently injured as well. Ghost?"

"Location locked. On the way."

The rest of the squad popped into the room as Ghost made his way towards Jack. He noticed a little blood on the floor and in his mouth, and he was slightly disturbed at the sight. Snapping his fingers and casting cure on him, Ghost inspected him for any other signs of damages. "Looks like that did the trick. What happened?"

"Wow, HOW DID YOU DO THAT? I didn't know someone could seal other things into the realm between! You gotta show me how!" Then Ghost barged in on the trio. "Hey, who are you?"

"It's a balance between light and dark.  When I was a kid, I accidentally did it to myself," Jack said, laughing at himself.  I don't know how I survived in there, but it had to do something with light..." Jack stood up, looking down at the very old paintings and drawings at the room.  "It's kind of corny, but the power of light saved me that day."  Jack looked at Ghost enter the room and felt a sudden anger engulf his judgment.  "You!?!  I'm tired of your all-knowing wisdom," Jack began, quoting the latter part of the sentence.  "We've saved the town right?  Let's go guys!" Jack ordered, leaving the room and brushing past Ghost.

It seemed that Jack was back to normal. After he stormed out of the room, Joel gave Ghost and his gang a sheepish grin. "Er, thanks for that. We'll, uh.... we'll meet up with you at the ship. Or something like that." Joel said to Ghost. He then motioned to Lucas to go and follow Jack. They quickly caught up to Jack.

"We should get back to the others," Joel said to Jack. "We need to think of a plan. Where to go next, what to do, et cetera."

(Er, sorry for kinda controlling your character, Spider. Figured you'd come along anyway.)

Lucas's eyes widened when Joel mentioned the others. "OH MAN! I totally forgot about the others, THEY'RE STILL FIGHTING THE NOBODIES! GUYS COME ON, WE GOTTA GET BACK TO THE ENTRANCE!!!" Lucas started dashing down the stairs to get back to Alitt and the others.

"Wow, HOW DID YOU DO THAT? I didn't know someone could seal other things into the realm between! You gotta show me how!" Then Ghost barged in on the trio. "Hey, who are you?"

Thinking on his toes, Ghost still had to conceal his identity. "Just another student, like him."

"You!?!  I'm tired of your all-knowing wisdom!" he heard Jack angrily shout at him. He looked at him, confused by the accusation. "But-"

"We've saved the town right?  Let's go guys!"

In a surprising turn of events, Ghost actually snapped. His friends were shocked as he lashed out to Jack, running up to him and grabbing his collar before immediately pinning him to the wall. "Listen you" he growled to the student, "First of all, it's not wisdom, it's judgement. And second, quit running off and doing whatever you feel like doing. You have a team of students with you, you should work and collaborate with them as such. There is no point whatsoever in running off doing your own thing and having the rest of us cleaning up after you. We're a team. Collaborate with the rest, and I can easily reassure you this assignment and thus this exam will be a piece of cake. And who knows, with a little cooperation you might learn a thing on what it takes to truly wield a keyblade." He let him go, hoping that the mini-lecture would knock some sense back into Jack.

Commander Spectre added in to the little lesson. "There was a keyblade wielder who tried doing things independently a long time ago. Kept it all to himself and tried to be strong all by himself. He fell to the darkness and ended up screwing up some of the worlds. Keyblade Master Terra if I can recall correctly."

"That's right" Spirit chimed in, "Wanted to protect his friends, but decided to go at it alone. Key word there, buddy. Alone.... Like what you're doing right now."

"Work with your squadmates, er... I mean fellow students." Shadow added.

"OH MAN! I totally forgot about the others, THEY'RE STILL FIGHTING THE NOBODIES! GUYS COME ON, WE GOTTA GET BACK TO THE ENTRANCE!!!" They all heard Lucas shout. Ghost looked back to Jack. "So... are you gonna run off, or are you gonna help them?"

As Lucas started running down the stairs, Joel grabbed the boy by the shoulder. "Dude, I don't think the Nobodies would be back already." As Joel, said this, he remembered something. Something that worried him.

Joel turned to Jack. "Hey, didn't someone say that the Realm Between and the digital Twilight Town are connected?" Joel thought about it again. Crap. "We should get back to the lab. Now."

(Didn't want to quote everything, so I did this.  -Xiro)

Jack looked at Ghost and then at the entrance, scoffing the suggestion off.  "It would be completely stupid to help them.  They seem capable themselves, unlike you, I don't underestimate my comrades' worth."

Jack continued down the stairs as Lucas and Joel caught up.  "As for plans, Joel, I'm coming up with one right now."

Joel turned to Jack. "Hey, didn't someone say that the Realm Between and the digital Twilight Town are connected?" Joel thought about it again. Crap. "We should get back to the lab. Now."

"To the lab and do what?  I don't think us all sticking together would be the best way to go about saving the worlds," Jack began to lecture the group.  "Why cluster ourselves when we can split up and meet when we've gathered more information?  It is our Mark of Mastery, we can't always rely on each other."  Jack walked up to Joel, giving him two Wayfinders of a color he and his friend from earlier, Indy, desired most, coincidentally.  "It's crazy, but we all can't stay here.  I like you and that guy, Indy or Alex or whatever he calls himself.  I want you to give the other Wayfinder to him."

Jack turned around.  "I guess you and him can come... or not, but I won't stay here when everywhere else lack even half of the protection this place has."  Jack opened a corridor of darkness.

Eon watched them go.

"He thinks he can do everything alone. Maybe he should look to the heart of a child to truley see how a group of friends together overcome any obstacle, and divided, one is open to conquest."

The residents of Twilight Town were forming up, ready to return.

Rei had followed Ghost, watching silently. And Jack's arrogance really annoyed her, so she caught up with Jack to hear the last bit.

"A house divided cannont stand." She said to Jack, having moved closer. "If you refuse to rely on friends for a test, then how can you rely on them when the time comes? When the fighting starts?" She clenched her hands into fists. "Splitting up? How can one of you, none of you Masters, hope to save an entire world? Seren graduated seven years ago, and he even needs help. You think bfause you're about to be Masters that you're ingincible and can stop whole armies with a single blow?"

The naive girl shook her head, turning around to find Ghost.

"It's not that I don't need them, I just find it a waste of valuable resources to use all this natural talent in one world."  Jack was quick to answer Rei, staring her down with a fierce face.  "I know my limitations.  I know I can't do this all by myself and that's why I'm asking for some people's help, but just as so, I'm not like Sora.  I don't make friends willy nilly, I'm not naive.  I might be outgoing, but I'm picky about who I trust... consider yourselves to be lucky though.  I trust you to keep this world safe, but just as so, we can't be sitting idly by waiting for the other worlds to be attacked like this.  I have to make sure now!" Jack ended his speech looking at Joel.  "So how about it?  Wanna join me?"

(Great. Now I'm getting confused.)

Joel stared at the Wayfinders that Jack had given him before putting them in his pocket. "Uh, thanks." Then Lucas ran up the stairs with some bad news. What? They're back already?... Or are these new ones? Joel thought. Then Rei appeared and started lecturing Jack, who promptly retorted. Jack then looked at Joel and said, "Wanna join me?"

At that moment, Joel made his decision.

He didn't want to abandon his teammates and the citizens of Twilight Town, but he was sure that they, with the help of Ghost and his team, could handle it. He looked back at Joel and said, "I'm in." He then quickly turned toward Rei and said, "Don't worry. I'll keep an eye on him," he said, pointing a thumb at Jack while his back was turned. "Just make sure to tell the others so they don't worry. Oh, and we'll need something we can use to communicate." Finally, Joel turned to Lucas and said, "So, are you gonna come?"

"This world barely is secure, and you want to go start protecting another?" Rei turned back around. "That logic will spread you thin and just make it easier to kill you all. Splitting up with small groups is always a horrible ide. But fine."

Rei again turned and started walking away. "Go do your own thing. I'm going to se Grandma Xion and see if she has any advice."

She glanced at Joel. "Mom and Dad never gave me the key to the tech vault. Ask Pancakes."

Jack closed the corridor of darkness for the time being, sitting down in a meditative position on the corner of the stairs.  Something's been bothering me... even with my powers, I shouldn't have been able to rid the whole room of Nobodies.  It's a basic reflect spell... no way can it do that.  And then it hit him...  "Did I really learn how to use a higher form of reflect?" he asked himself aloud.  "It can't be..."

Jack looked at Joel ask the question to Lucas, staring at them intently and wondering why Rei and Ghost pried so much into their business.  Jack was sure everyone was graded individually and you couldn't really test someone's strength if they aren't allowed to show it in the first place.  These guys think protocol, blah blah blah, there always has to be a plan... they're too concerned about the plan and not enough about the journey.  As far as I'm concerned, saving the worlds is in top priority, the Mark of Mastery is last.

"Pancakes? Oh, right. Thanks." Joel then turned away from Rei and the others and ran back to the white room.

"Ghost!" Joel called to the only somewhat familiar face in the room. "Nobodies are back! We need some help! Also, I need some communication stuff. In case we get... separated." Joel felt the need to elaborate. "Jack's probably gonna bounce, and I'm not going to let him go alone. Sorry for having to do this, but I trust that you guys can take care of things here."

As jack scoffed and walked off, Ghost tried to reach for him again, but was cut off short by Spectre. "Let him be." he advised as he placed his arm in front of him. "Let him handle things his own way. He may have a point on the exam."

"But-"

"It's ok, Ghost." Shadow butted in. "Maybe it's wrong to hold him back."

"That, or we'd have another Terra on our hands." Spirit warned to the rest. Ghost could only stare in Jack's direction as he summoned a dark portal. "Well, at least we know where that dark portal reading came from."

He turned around, eyeing Joel. "I don't have a spare on me, but tell ya what. I can do something if you have a trinket of sorts. Lemme synchronize it with my bracelet here, and if there's trouble of sorts, just hold onto it and wait. It'll teleport me straight to you. The more distressed you are, the faster I can respond."

A trinket? Joel immediately thought of the Wayfinders that Joel gave him. He pulled one of them out of his pocket. "Here. You can use this." Joel said, handing it over to Ghost.

"How can they be back already?" Jack questioned, looking at the entrance.  "I was sure I sealed them for a few hours at the least.  These must be a new batch!" Jack quickly deduced.  Jack flashed a couple reflect spells with his Keyblade as he stopped many assassins from hurting the students and using their power to hurt each other.  He smiled as he opened the corridor of darkness, saluting a goodbye to the rest, "I'll leave these in your capable hands!"  Jack popped an ether bottle as he fell back first into his own portal, missing Ghost's party trick.

"Great!" Ghost exclaimed as he held onto the wayfinder. "Gimme a moment..." He placed the wayfinder over his bracelet, and the two objects started to glow. Noticing Jack opening a portal, as the white aura disappeared around the trinkets he quickly shoved the wayfinder into Joel's hands and kicked him into the portal with mere milliseconds to spare before it closed. "So... decided to run off then. Well... I hope Joel doesn't hate me for doing that." he grumbled to himself as he rushed off to the entrance of the mansion. His squadmates were right behind him, and he was pretty certain that Rei was closely following him.

(... Dang, I'm sick for a day and can't get on, and I get 2 pages of replies to go through. ._.)

Allitt explored the mansion for a while after Ghost had managed to get everyone out of the digital Twilight Town safely. While exploring, she heard someone who sounded like Lucas shout about Nobodies. She ran back into the main entrance, and found that, once again, Nobodies were everywhere. "Not again!" She summoned her Keyblade, but before she could do anything, Jack took most of them out using his reflect spell. He then left into a Dark Corridor, being closely followed by Joel. "Where are they going now!? First Indy disappears, then those two..." She was somewhat angry. However, before she could continue, she noticed a few remaining Nobodies. "I guess we should take the rest out..." She jumped off the balcony and aimed her Keyblade underneath her, nailing a Dusk with a Blizzard spell. Thankfully, the spell slowed her descent, allowing her to touch the ground with both legs still intact. She slashed through a group of Dusks, taking out most of the remaining enemies. "Is the town able to get back on its feet without us now? We need to protect this world, but we can't stay for too long." She asked the others, hoping they could move on soon.

Meanwhile, Indy sat against a marble pillar in another world, waiting for the students to arrive. "Where are they...? Don't tell me they were killed already... I wanted to at least have a little fun." He smirked, still amazed that he could trick them that easily.

Xadros appears next to Indy, smirking evilly at him. He is folding his arms as he leans against a marble pillar next to Indy. He is about to talk to him right now. He then speaks to Indy by saying. "Don't get cocky, that guy, Tom is already suspicious of you... He may end up exposing you if you aren't careful.." Said Xadros, talking about Tom.
