Dawnbreak City, 4th Universe.

"It's a bright day in Freedom City, peace, property, and a good shoreline and beach attracts tourist, so the town has prospered, despite being built into a valley. The natural sights, friendly service, and quiet atmosphere of this town is why it's a big reason it's popular among vacation spots. Suddenly, in a flash, the city disappears, and in-junction to it, a man in a black coat has appeared. The leader of this free world approached the coated man, asked for what he wanted, and his response was violent. He stabbed the leader of our world in the chest with an odd-shaped concealed sword of some kind, as well as took his lucky charm, a stone in the shape of a ring. We now go to you live with a leading commander in our world's army." The T.V. news reporter had said, the world in crisis.

"We, as of now are preparing an assault on the man..." A commanding officer started, but he was quickly impaled by the black-coated man, who took the microphone, the commanding officer's body fading away as he did this. A deep voice overcame the speakers of all who were listing in, yes, even you, young viewer. As these events unfolded, the rest of the world strapped the T.V. to their heads to see the results.

"We mean of you no harm..." he deep voice echoed. "We just want the heart of your world. Give up the Tirain to us, you will be spared."

As these words are spread, around the world, people wondered "What are the Tirain?" The words whispered so often it was more like an uproar, which lasted all of ten minutes.

"Fine. You've had enough time to try and notify me or give me it directly." The voice of the man, though deep, boomed throughout the world. The camera-bot moved back as the man raised his hand and hell broke loose.

The sky's darkened as the shadows of the world darkened.

"The door to this world has been opened. Prepare for the heart of your world to be consumed by all things dark!" the man dissipated into a black hole, which strange, black creatures with Antenna and yellow eyes erupted from. The camera bot was destroyed in the zurg rush of these black creatures.

In a manner of hours, the world is in chaos. These black creatures chase around, then seem to steal the heart of someone who they kill, and no form of attack can seem to deal damage. You're not willing to accept this, though, and go out to fight the darkness-born creatures yourself, and fall because you, too could not hurt them.

But that dose not mean you've given up, dose it?

Missions, are the quests you go on in a world. Normally, you would have your first mission as a "Disembark" mission, but as you are already here, do not fear about that, it will come in time. In the Mission Statement, you will be given a small hint on what to do in your post. Missions are where the girth of your time will be spent, as they give EXP, Munny, and sometimes special skills, items, and ability's. Some Missions are optional, some are your choice of which you will do, some are required.

Watching Mes and Brooklyn make it over, Ovan shouts out:  "Detok, they made it through!  You, Brandon and David should get a move on!"  "Roger that Ovan. David, Brandon, it's time to leave ourselves!"  Detok responds assertively.  He jumps away from the Heartless and starts running to the group as fast as he could.

 

 

Mes finally made it out of the corridor. She coughed and sputtered, and kneeled, trying to catch her breath. Still breathing heavily, she unceremoniously dropped Brooklyn onto the floor. "I swear, the second you wake up I am slapping the crap out of you for making me do that!" She yelled at the unconscious body.

 

 

Brandon nodded as he heard Detok's words and started heading in the same direction as Mes and Detok, catching up with them. "Well...That wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be honestly, i figured it'd be worse." He then looked back through the door, pointing his keyblade at it. "Guys, we need to seal this door before that heartless gets out." His keyblade then immediately shot out a beam of light at the door.

The door sealed, and Dr. Stein picked up Brooklyn off of the ground. "If that thing is in there, they're going to be starting up another attack soon. Get ready. I'll try and wake up Brooklyn for you all." Stein began to then walk away, only to hear a thud. David fell to the floor, unconscious. "The gasses must of hit him a tad bit too hard. I'll look after him until he wakes up as well, but maybe he needs some sleep first." Stein grabbed David now, too. It was almost time to get going.. But first... Where is Kyle?

 

"Huh?.. Is this...? Yeah Thanks Brooklyn!" Kyle said as he moved back, the last hist he did stunned the creature, it was not defeated yet but still.. he was ready to attack and  this time hoping it would slain it once for all. However just on a blink of an eye an strange feeling... "Fiora... nghrr... what was that? No, something must be amiss...  i need to hurry" He thought as he grabbed with force the crosskey "Sorry! but this is over!"  Kyle shouted as he dashed towards the thing, then he once again attacked the unprotectec inside of the creature.

Kain's hand lifted up Fiora's hair, he smelled it. "Intoxicating. Too bad I don't get to intoxicate myself farther for a while." He snickered, calling a horde of heartless to his side. "Fiora, what would you think of taking this horde of Heartless and using it to murder everyone you once loved in exchange for my embrace?!" He laughed an grievous, blood curdling laugh. Of course, she didn't mean much to him, she in fact could not return alive, but madness made everything possible...

Fiora grinned madly, and nodded. "I would love to do that, Kain. It sounds fun!" She exclaimed, then cackled. After a minute, she calmed down, and turned to the Heartless. "Alright, everyone. Let's go kill some people!" She ordered them, and began to march off. "I'll be back soon, Sugarkain!" Fiora waved to Kain, using her own special nickname for him. "I'll be back for that embrace, soon." She grinned, then left.

"Great!  More terrific news!  Keep em coming, they're just the best!"  Ovan says sarcastically.  Ignoring the remarks, Detok crosses his arms and says:  "Poor David.  Those gasses that Heartless was giving were stronger than I anticipated. But I'm sure he will recover well."  "Yeah."  Ovan responds.  Looking around, he then says:  "Hey, where's Kyle?"

The door sealed, and Dr. Stein picked up Brooklyn off of the ground. "If that thing is in there, they're going to be starting up another attack soon. Get ready. "Huff Huff... Greaat, now a shield! you surery have some tricks under that metal body... wait a sec..." Kyle stopped for thinking one second, then he started to move around the thing, literally, running around the thing, then as he was running, the thing was following him in the moves... "just a little more.... and.... Magnet!!" Kyle shoutd as the blast of magic hit on the creature as it was spinning it would make it lose control, and by default the shield a perfect moment for attack. Kyle quickly hurried close to the thing and hit it with all what he got, as much as he could... "I told you! I´m on a hurry...!!"

With the spinning of Magnet plus the normal spinning you provided, the heartless becomes incredibly dizzy and thus is forced to lower it's guard. "Woooah!" Kyle shouted as the gust of wind pulled out of the room, into the corridor, one thing that many could consider Best Victory Pose EVER.... except for the dizzy Kyle lying on the floor (Imagine him with spirals in place of his eyes ) "Eh... I.. think I overdo it a ... little pff". He said while trying to get up, then looking around the corridor once more. "Sigh... well...At least I finish it off, but I wonder what were those capsules for?" He said as he looked the crosskey turning back to normal. "Seriously, Rais should opena blacksmith shop at once... but thinking about it... no, I don´t think so... hehehehe.. anyway... " He finished saying as his look turned more serious, then he started to walk back to where he came. "I need to find the others before something else happens."

"Suppose I'll have to beat the crud out of him later then." Mes said, with a slight smile. She took a deep breath and glance around. "Hey guys.... Where'd Kyle go? He was with us... and then I got distracted by Brooklyn... and now he's not here." Mes mentioned, slightly confused. She nervously began to light her fingers on fire and put them out again repeatedly. Dealing with another horde of Heartless wouldn't be good, especially with their group at half strength like they were.

"That's an excellent question.  I think he was called off to someplace, but not sure to where.  He should be on his way back though."  Detok responds.  "Right.  With this new Heartless situation, it'd be kind of nice to have him with us."  Ovan says,  sitting on the ground to rest up a bit.

As the teams began to walk to each other, it only took a mere moment for them to encounter each other. They shared stories, then walked all the way back to the top. A Moogle could be found in the medical area. You can buy some things, rest, ect.(This is a rare opportunity. You can have your character rest, thus bringing them back to full strength, you can go to the Pause Menu and buy some potions, change up items, ect. Or you can interact if you so wish. But you only get to choose one!)Brooklyn and David slept in the beds near by. There was a calm before the storm...

Mes immediately jumped on the bed, stretching out. Actual beds seemed to be a rarity on this adventure. But that was okay. She was having the best time. Well, except for the whole friend succumbing to darkness thing. But things happen. What can anyone do? She yawned, and outstretched her hand, summoning her blade. Oh, if it asked her, then she would say it had chosen poorly. But, it would probably insist it were right. But keyblades can't talk. So there's no point even trying to think about things like. She'd just have to trust that it knew what it was doing. Mes dismissed her keyblade, and went to bed.

Detok and Ovan stood next to each other, looking around. Placing his left hand over his mouth, Detok yawns in and says:  "I'm not sure about you, but I'll be acquiring some sleep.  After dealing with that gas Heartless directly and previous invasion of monsters, I'm quite exhausted.  Can you wake me up when the next wave comes if I'm not awake Ovan?"  "Sure."  Ovan replies.  Detok walks off and heads to the bed in the farthest left corner of the room.  Ovan crossed his arms and thought:  So, what to do? Angling his head left and right while thinking, he opens them a minute later and thinks:  I'll go get something from the shop here.  Ovan heads over to the Moogle in the area.

 

Sitting on the bed with both arms behind his head, Detok stares at the ceiling.  Trying to focus, he thinks:  This sure has been quite the endeavor these past few days.  I certainly haven't put it in my mind that I'd fight anyone who made me question myself.  First there was that Serenia girl.  Even with such an enormous Keyblade, she struck me down so easily.  Then there was the guy Brooklyn knew, Kain.  His strength was unlike anything I've seen before.  Even his copies were frighteningly strong.  I'm sure he's even stronger after absorbing the Kishin everyone fought, and that creature was no pushover itself.  Never before in my life have I felt so powerless.  To feel so weak.  It frustrates me to no end!!  I must find a way to obtain more power.  For my sake, and the others.  With that, Detok closes his eyes and tries to sleep.

Brandon walked over to one of the beds and laid down for a second, wanting to take a break for the time he could. "Well, we made it out of that fine, what happened to you sounds crazy Kyle." He looked up to the ceiling, thinking about Fiora. Fiora...I will find you, that's a promise.

"Well... I guess it was a bit of a shock I guess..." Kyle replied to Brandon as he moved to the nearest bed. "Phew I´m exhausted... seriously... If Brooklyn doesn´t wake up and begin to help us, I´m gonna help Mes to Kick his butt", said this Kyle closed his eyes for a moment, still thinking about the battle and the overpowered enemy they were destined to face. "Maybe Brooks has the answer to all of this mess..maybe..."

The heroes took their tome, choosing their options and picking the next action to take. Some rested, like Mes or David, some bought things, like Ovan and Kyle. Either way, their reprieve was up. Crash! The sound of glass being broken, bang! Most certainly the enemy trying to claw it's way into the walls. The hero's found themselves serounded by enemies on all sides...

 

MISSION: Survive 12 waves.

 

The Heartless swarmed, making a frenzied charge for the room the team was in. Brooklyn was mysteriously missing now as well... It seemed like it was nothing but shadows so far, though...

 

ENEMY FOR WAVE ONE

Detoks' eyes burst open upon the crash and breaking glass.  Thinking:  It appears the invasion has begun., he leaps from his bed and runs out the room.  Meanwhile, Ovan was finished getting potions when he heard the commotion.  Summoning his keyblade, he says:  "Sounds like the party started.  Time to deal with the crashers."  He starts running out the room, catching up with Detok along the way.  When they saw Heartless coming, Detok called his keyblade and dashed toward them. 

 

Detok lunges at one shadow, spin slashes three surrounding himself, swings upward at another, and stabs down at one more coming out of the ground.

 

Ovan shouts:  "Defense!", casting aero on himself before attacking.  He throws his keyblade, striking through two shadows.  Calling it back, he does a three-pronged strike at three more, and slashes right on another.

"What the!" Kyle shouted as the window broke into pieces, then shadows began to erupt from everywhere. He ran out of the room catching up with the rest of the team, as he summoned his keyblade in hand. "Showtime I guess" Kyle said while moving quickly across the heartless and doing an horizontal slice at 3 of them, then running back as he kept his guard up.

"A chance to contribute science? How could I resist?!"

 

"Well, there's still a small formality we have to go through. Could you sign this document, Mr -"

 

David was awoken from his dream by the sound of glass breaking. He jumped out of bed, half-asleep. Falling to ground, he picked himself back up, fully awake. Running into the room where everyone else was, he was greeted by the sight of a horde of heartless surrounding him and everyone else.. "Can't I just get a break?" he muttered, sighing as he summoned his keyblade. Seeing Kyle, Ovan, and Detok in the same room as him made him smile a little, as he knew he couldn't take all these heartless on his own. He held his keyblade aloft, and pointed it at the nearest shadow. Then, he rushed it, hit it upwards with his keyblade, and continued running. He encountered two more, one of which he literally kicked into the second. Next, three heartless popped up, surrounding him in a triangle formation. He sighed, and spun in a quick circle with his keyblade outstretched, hoping to hit all three of them in quick succession. 

 

(Huzzah. My return from my roughly month and a half long hiatus has been broken officially. And I put in hints to his backstory! Yay.) 

Mes yawned awake. As she blinked her eyes open, she realized that a certain something was on top of her. A shadow. She reacted immediately, the shadow burning to ash when it met her flaming fist. "You'd think you guys would wake me up once the baddies start coming back." She called out, summoning her keyblade. The shadows welcomed her to the battlefield, and Mes couldn't help but smile. How foolish these creatures were. She went to work, leaping down on one crushing it under her blade, then spinning around and slicing another in half. Two more approached but met a fiery demise when she shot a fireball their way.

Brandon looked towards the window to see Heartless crashing through it, and his keyblade instinctively appeared in his hand. They began surrounding him and his friends, and he extended out his arm holding the Keyblade and spun to knock away the heartless crowding around him, taking out 2 in the process. "Heh, sorry Mes, they came in so fast, we didn't think to that." He quickly fired another Blizzard at a heartless, taking it out in one shot, and then proceeded to throw his keyblade at 2 close to each other, killing those ones aswell. He then proceeded to fire a Blizzard at the window around the edges, in an attempt to try to seal it and stop more from flooding in.

"Yeah, yeah."  Ovan says, spotting a shadow coming up.  He runs and strikes through it.  Thinking it's safe, he leans his keyblade on his right shoulder.  However, two shadows quietly rose behind Ovan and were ready to pounce.  Before they did, Detok slams down on one and bashes away the other.  Turning around, Ovan sees dark mists fading away around Detok.  Inhaling and exhaling, Detok says:  "As I just said, we must remain cautious."  Feeling embarrassed, Ovan slowly scratches the top of his head with the left hand.

Mes gave Brandon a wry grin. "I suppose I can cut you some slack. But the next time I awake to Heartless on top of me, I won't be so lenient!" She teased, slicing her keyblade straight through a shadow. Another came up in front of her, but she kicked it into the air, where it was consumed by flames. She breathed out a short breath. Small fry were kind of fun. It was when the big ones came around that she started to get worried. Mes rolled inbetween two more shadows, and leaping to her feet, she threw down a fireball that destroyed both of them in the explosion.

Mes rolled inbetween two more shadows, and leaping to her feet, she threw down a fireball that destroyed both of them in the explosion.

It seemed they were done with the first wave. Only about three more remained Until they vanished, and the building collapsed down in an explosive shock. The city was suffering from some major damage... This siege was only becoming more destructive by the minute... Everyone blacked out as the building fell over, the sounds of screams could be heard in every direction as their vision faded.

 

The first up was Brooklyn. The Chaos has quieted down so far, though Heartless, Nobodied, and those odd creatures whom came in a humongous size. "Ugh..." He murmured. The building was mostly covered, Dr. Stein and Mrs, Marie sat there, a smirk appeared on Stein's face. "You're awake. Good. The others are still resting. Once they get back up we have to set up a plan. Someone is doing incredible damage to the city, but we couldn't tell who. Although, with such power I wouldn't doubt it was your friend." He pulled out a cigarette, attempting to light it, he dropped the lighter in shock at a sudden burst in pain. "Agh..." He cursed under his breath, and Mrs. Marie looked at him with concern, but he only just seemed to shake it off. The rest of the team began to get up, recovering from whatever had happened. 

 

As they did so, Dr. Stein looked at them. "Look. We don't have time for rest. My leader, Lord Death, has not yet fully recovered, and neither have the students I teach. I'm wounded as well. I hate to have to ask, however, we need you to help with this city. The enemies are doing so much damage, and they're moving closer to Lord Death's chamber. If they destroy him, there will be absolutely on one who can stop that boy who absorbed the Kishin's power, except maybe yourselves. That is a strong maybe." Brooklyn looked at Stein. "We can do it. Come on, guy's!" Brooklyn said, summoning his Keyblade, he activated his armor, he threw his Keyblade out one of the covered walls, the cloth blew away as his Keyblade Glider came back to him. And he took off.

"Great. Collapsing cities, the streets overrun with monsters. And only we can fix it. Why don't we go someplace nice? Like, oh I don't know, some woods, with a couple nice talking animals. That sounds like a decent vacation." Mes said, dragging herself to her feet. She stretched out, and cracked her knuckles. She blew a lock of hair away from her face, then finally cocked her keyblade back, and tossed it into the air. It came back as a glider, and she hopped on, steering it towards where Brooklyn had headed to. When no one could hear her, she muttered to herself. "But this is fun too I suppose."
