I don't think that person speaks for anyone older than 14

 

I personally don't listen to this music (I feel like I would be posing if I suddenly turned round at 19 and went "Oh guys I'm such a fan since like forever, which is really like 5 minutes") but it's to be expected that the younger generation would think the music of their people (1D, JB, Taylor Swift, Skrillex) is better because it's what they've grown up on due to bad parenting and poor social media.  

 

The same way my generation would think the music that was popular in our young years is better than those in our parents etc.

 

Either way live and let live, enjoy what you love and forget what you hate.
