Hey guys, do you think Kairi got the power to wield the keyblade forn Ven, i mean if Ven is in Soras heart and so was Kairi in KH1 would that mean she got the power aswell from him?

I did look for a similar thread byt couldnt find one so sorry if this has allready been put on

Sorry but, Kairi got her power to wield a Keyblade from Aqua when she took on the handled of Aquas Keyblade

I thought since Riku handed Kairi a Keyblade, it was a fake like Xion used to fight with. It did kinda make sense up untill now though.

Yeah, Aqua is the reason why Kairi can use a Keyblade. Terra for Riku, and Sora.... well, he wasn't supposed to be a Keyblade weilder, but when Riku embraced the darkness, it chose Sora instead. But maybe Ven's heart had an influence on that.

Aqua was the reason why she was able to weild a keyblade, Terra was the reason why Riku was able to weild the keyblade and Ven was the reason why Sora w2as able to weild the keyblade

Ven's heart is with Sora's since the beginning of KH1. It was the reason Sora was able to use a keyblade. There are Light realm keyblades and Dark realm keyblades, Riku would've gotten a keyblade nevertheless.

No, confirmed in the BBS Ultimania that

 

 

Kairi has the ability to wield (note: wield does not mean that she has one) a Keyblade because she accidently initiated the Rite of Succession with Aqua when she was running away from the Unversed.

Actually it is, because

 

 

Sora has the heart of someone who had undergone the rite of succession within him.

 

 

The Keyblade went to Sora after Riku submitted to darkness because he was the closest person who matched the right requirements for wielding a Keyblade. It wasn't until Hollow Bastion when Sora reclaimed the KK that it really became his own.

 

But enough about Sora. This thread is about Kairi.

The ability to weild a keyblade does not just pop out from the sky! Terra and Aqua had their successors it is only simetrical to have Ven notice his.

im too lazy to see if any one said this, but from what other people have said, Kairi can't necessarily wield a keyblade, well she can, but she can't summon one, to anyones knowledge at least, she can use one since she accidentally grabbed aqua's keyblade, (in that case, if sora was a keyblade master, then jack sparrow could have used the keyblade, which kinda would have been cool) riku can use one since terra preformed the rite of summoning or what ever you call it with him, and from my belief, sora can wield it since he

took in vens heart

i couldn't agree more, but my case was that i was to lazy to read, well, anything, if i had have read any thing any one had posted, i would have read the spoilers, i always do
