Note: No idea if this has already been discussed yet. It might have been, but I'm honestly too lazy to check.

 

I personally love Interview With the Vampire (and I'm about to start reading the sequel, The Vampire Lestat, soon ;D). It's one of my favorite books ever. Way better than The Twilight Saga. (Though the books DO make good paperweights. I mean, they're so big and heavy! And it's not like there's any other use for 'em....)

What's your opinion? Is "The Vampire Chronicles" by Anne Rice, or "The Twilight Saga" by Stephanie Meyer better?

Neither, to be completely honest. Both honestly I would pick up last if they were given to me in a pile of books.

 

But seriously, almost anything is better than Twilight.

I've only read Twilight, and I don't know about the Vampire Chronicles...

So obviously I'm voting for the latter.

Vampire Cornicles....the only thing thats acturalte si the shapeshwiters in twilight,which si horrible....srry twil-fans, but Brad Pitt and Tom Curise beat Mr. Jesse McCarney Rip-off with sparkling glitter.

Eh, I honestly liked Twilight, but I have never read Anne Rice's books though they do look interesting. Guess that series is next on my list; right now I am reading the House of Night novels.

Also Supernatural Vampires are pretty cool, just like the moonlight Mythos of vampires to bad it last a season..oh well they are showing it for the summer! YAY! ^^ CW is actully cool for once!

Ive read both of the series and they are both good but Interview with a Vampire is so much better.

Whats with Twilight anyway the vamps dont have fangs and they dont die in sunlight they just shine WTF!!?? The only good character is Alice(because shecan see the future(that would be so handy)).

Twilight is an abaomenation, How people enjooy this crap. I agree with what Steven King Said about sephanie Myers books. "The girl can't write!" which is true, I tried reading them, I saw the movies,and they both where horrible! So,REAL Vampires, do not burn int he sun,but still twilight is lame. VC actully has charcater Develuopment, Great charcaters,and a plot, not some shitty show you cna watch on the CW.
