Is the Kingdom Hearts series considered to be confusing by anyone else here? I know that there are stories that are substantially more complicated in existence, but I constantly have to ask questions about the series, especially about subjects that include Castle Oblivion, the sleeping worlds, and Sora's memories, and I almost find the series to be-dare I say it-confusing beyond enjoyment.

I understand everything about it and If I don't understand something I just make theorys that are possible. Which brings me closer to the story, and I enjoy the whole plot. 

Some find it very confusing and some like myself don't find it confusing at all. It also helps to read interviews as well but not everyone has access to them or don't know they exist till they join sites like this and ask questions . Time travel being brought in didn't help many and many like myself have had to help people understand what the mechanics were to it .Personally I have no issues with understanding the plot but I understand why some do .

It's convoluted.  But if you play all the games it's not confusing at all.  It's when you skip out on one and don't look up anything about it you'll get gaps in knowledge and miss references later on 

The only thing that confuses me is some of the Villian's motives: What the firetruck is The Door To Light gonna do under the ocean, in the desert, or high up in China? ( Ursula, Jafar, and Shan-Yu respectivly ).

Also, why does everyone just like Sora instantly, instead of " Weird child with talking dog and duck, get away from meh!" ?

Kingdom Hearts is very confusing to me and KH3D didn't help at all by including time traveling,but thanks to the Internet I understand what's going on.

 

Without Internet I would have made a lot of wrong assumption,like Sora having a Keyblade,I though BBS ending implied that Sora had a Keyblade only because of Ventus and he wasn't really the Keyblade chosen one 

Yeahhhh it is a bit confusing i guess.
