I'm not sure if there is already a thread on this topic, I did a search and couldn't't find anything.

Anyway, do you guys think that there are still untold stories in the timeline of the Xehanort saga that should be made into spinoff or handheld titles after the release of KHIII?  I for one can't wait to see what the next saga has in store for us but I would still love to see what else Square Enix can milk out of the first saga, just nothing so important that we need to buy it in order for us to understand what's going on in future titles..

Maybe a game where you play as Mickey during his quest in KH1 to find the Kingdom Key D, or a game played from The perspective of one of the villains. Thoughts?

EDIT:  I also think a game where you play as a young Xehanort during his training as a keyblade wielder would be interesting.  It could cover his training with a young Eraqus all the way up to their Mark of Mastery exam together.

If they do, we need to play through as a younger pre-evil Xehanort with all the fabulous hair he used to have.

They could make you empathize him or something rude like that so you'll feel bad when you defeat him in III.

Nomura already stated that he wants KH3 to completely wrap up the Xehanort Saga and all loose ends regarding Xehanort and the saga will be tied up.

You've got a point.  You've also just given me an awesome idea.  What if they made a prequel where you play as Xehanort and Eraqus during their Mark of Mastery exam.  Their master has just discovered that an Ancient Darkness, as old as Kingdom Hearts itself, has awoken to destroy Kingdom Hearts and blanket the worlds in eternal darkness.  Xehanort and Eraqus' mission is to stop this ancient evil before it gains enough power to complete it's goal.  In the final battle they learn that the only way to stop the dark being is to trap it within one of their hearts.  Xehanort, being very in tune with his own darkness as it is, makes the sacrifice to contain the creature within him.  This, over time, is what causes Xehanort's own obsession with darkness to keep growing.  Then, when you defeat him in KHIII, the creature is finally able to escape.  BOOM Main antagonist for next saga.

I should totally write for Square Enix...

Although I like your idea, Nomura also said that he wouldn't go back any further in history/time than BBS xD

Yeah I know  :(  it wasn't really a prediction.  I just thought it would make for an interesting set up for the next saga, unfortunately I know that it will never happen haha.

Besides, I'm sure Nomura will come up with something way more epic than my idea.

Aww, I REALLY want to see the first Keyblade War unfold!!! Anyway, I also liked his idea. Aren't there 3 untold stories? Mickey journey. Riku in the RoD. & BBS Vol.2 (between BBS & KH1). I really hope everything is wrapped up in KH3. I like facts, not using my imagination.

His idea was really good so i wouldn't mind it . Nomura said KH3 will tie up all loose ends to the Xehanort Saga so it will get wrapped up in KH3. Maybe we will at least get to witness what should've been BBSV2 in flashbacks in KH3 as well .A lot happenend between BBS and KH1 that I want to know more about . I hope he at least shows flashbacks from the first keyblade war bc that would be awesome too.

Flashbacks will do for me, as long as the big questions are answered & a glimpse of the Keyblade War would ease my curiosity I suppose. You can't show me the Keyblade Graveyard & expect me to not want to know what went down there. That is A LOT of keyblades!!! & I thought liking comments was against your policy. :P but that could have been someone else....
