So I've been coming up with a lot of theories lately for the next installment of our favorite series.  Tell me what you guys think about this one.

I'm sure you all know about the Runaway Brain theory by now, the one that assumes Mickey will become Xehanort's last vessel due to the secret boss in 3D, Julius, being part of a short cartoon that shares the same theme of being possessed by dark forces.  In the cartoon Mickey swaps bodies with a a savage monster that shares a striking resemblance to Pete if he had a steroid addiction and a life-time supply of Red Bull.

Anyway, I'm beginning to think this theory may prove true, mainly because Mickey is probably the last character anyone would expect to succumb to darkness, and so this would greatly contribute to the darker tone KHIII promises to deliver.

Now this would mean Mickey is no longer in the running to be one of the 7 Guardians of Light.  My theory is that in his place Yen Sid will emerge from the sidelines and come out of retirement, taking up his keyblade one more time to save his favorite student from the clutches of his former companion and friend, Master Xehanort.  I can just see him saying "Now it's personal."

I don't actually expect this to happen, but I just think it would be totally badass and provide an unexpected plot twist for the story.  Imagine seeing Yen Sid in action for the first time, fighting against a corrupt King Mickey.  It would definitely be straying from the series comfort zone but I would love to see this happen.

It sounds interesting; just as long as a darkness-possessed Mickey does not look like how Julius did when he had Mickey's brain.

I would actually love to see this happen. Not only would it be an unexpected plot twist, as the guy above me has stated, but it would be fun to see Riku fight Mickey to save him from the darkness. It would be like Riku returning the favour.

Disney wont really allow their star icon to be evil.

Plot twist: Mickey is actually Xehanort.

That would certainly be an interesting plot twist. Any surprise Nort-ing of a light would be. Somehow I don't think they'd go with a Disney character, though.

That would be interesting. Along as if and only if Mickey is defeated he will join the side of light once again.

Disney wont really allow their star icon to be evil.

It happened in an actual Disney movie. What makes you think they wouldn't allow it again?

I really doubt this has a chance of happening. Still think somehow/someway Vanitas.

Because I said so.

That makes no sense. Disney allowed it before, so yes, it DOES have a chance to happen again.

They did in South Park xD jk

I think you are right on Mickey being a darkness but I actually think Roxas will replace him. So the lights would be Sora, Roxas, Kairi, Riku, Aqua, Ventus and Terra or Lea.

I honestly believe Julius meant nothing more than a means of obtaining the Ultima Weapon. Mickey won't become possessed or anything of that sort.

Wasnt that a bit long ago? And I think it would be a lot different. For Mickey to become the new villain, he would have to be more evil then Xehanort, and would need dark armies and stuff. Im just saying its not going to happen, but you can think whatever you want.

lol I never said he'd be the new enemy....? I was implying that Xehanort could possibly use Julius' power to switch brains with him in order to get a huge advantage over the side of light, because Xehanort will do anything to hinder them. It'd be pretty logical considering Mickey is probably their best asset, and Xehanort would want to do something about that. Obviously they'd save him in the end. If Nomura wanted to do it, I seriously doubt Disney would tell him no. It was their idea to begin with.

What power does Julius have to switch brains with him?

Hmm, nevermind. I read someone saying something like that, but I looked it up just to be sure, and it was done by a mad scientist using a cliche method.

Yeah, it most likely won't happen. Terranort did love his experiments though...lol

lol dont go making statements when you have no idea what you are talking about.

Like I said, someone else said it, so I just assumed they knew.

Exactly, you had no idea and was going off something someone else said.

What power does Julius have to switch brains with him?

In the cartoon, Julius doesn't do it himself: it is conducted by a mad scientist's experiment. In lieu of said scientist, any one of scientific or magical persuasion could be up the job, and there's no shortage of those.

Honestly I dont think Julius was meant to matter that much, and I doubt we will ever see him again.

You could be right, but you also have to take into consideration that every secret boss from the main titles (main titles being KH1, KHII, BBS, and 3D) have been a prominent enemy for the next installment of in the series.  While I don't think Julis will be in the game directly, i doubt his presence in 3D meant nothing,  unless he is just the most random boss fight of alltime lol
