Do every single villain likes to talk so much and let the good guys escape or beat them.Seriously the villains aren't doing a dang good job if they want to kill the good guys . Villians should kill the good guys immediately instead of talking so much.

That's just how it's been since the beginning of time. They get paid to give the heroes a chance.

That's a pointless question; this is how stories progress, how the good guys grow stronger and beat more people, how they lose once, and come back stronger etcetera etcetera, you should ask the authors about this stuff, they'll give you an accurate answer, you don't expect the good guys to fight and die? unless your reading DBZ and they obviously come back like cockroaches.

Fool. That is why Scar (Lion King) is one of the best villains out there. If you notice too, he never monologues his plans to the heroes. He never really stalls to give the hero time to be rescued or anything.

Maybe villians are full of hot air?

( No offense Xemnas: You know we all love you.)

Its simple: Good guys win, bad guys lose. Nuff said

Monologuing is awesome though you cant be a good villain if you dont monologue

And the Anti-hero trumps the hero

And the Anti-hero trumps the hero

The monologuing is more for the viewer/reader than the actual characters in the story. logically it doesn't make sense, and the villian could pick a better time to do it, but it does serve a purpose.

Stupid cliché to let the good guys win. I hate when they don't kill them then and there instead it all has to be firetruckin slow motioned.

Basically, it's lazy. Lazy and overdone and I'm sick of it.
