when i was little i never did what i was told and shut the firetruck up, i've always had some sort of logical question or response as to why i was told to do something . I noticed i didn't end up like many other kids who always did everything everyone told them to, my sister has always been this tool of society because she always did everything my parents and authority in general told her to do. so why did i end up this way? me and my sister were raised by the same people, so why am i so different, why have i always thought things through and used logic? I was constantly arguing with my parents because of it. i like who i am though.

Ah okay. I mean, I avoid all possible trouble, but I wouldn't say I'd be a conformist, especially with how bad today's society is. I was getting this vibe off of your post that made me see Tool of Society as something similar to my behavior. But with a bit more detail on it, I no longer have that worry. ^^'

Regardless what society and people as a whole view raising their children to be, No matter what you do, what you think, or how you exist you will always be different and act differently regardless who raises you. You are who you are with or with out them. i question everything i learn it's healthy to do so. To many people are born into this world mindlessly following without a thought as to why they should:/

I can relate to that, Cucco.

The answer is simple: You were smart enough to question the things you were told and the things you were asked to do. Your sister was not.

It makes you a better person, not a weird one or a troublesome one. People who question things are the ones who wind up doing the greatest things in life.

I conform enough to stay out of trouble and off the radar--blending in lets me get away with doing my own thing.  I'd rather put in a little sacrifice in order to stay peaceful among society.  I care what others think because I've learned I'm not the only one around, because my actions affect others as well as myself even if it's not breaking the law.  There's a certain stress that comes with stirring up trouble in order to fully embrace being yourself, and I've learned overtime I'm one of the people who can't handle it.  I won't apologize for being a sheep because I'd rather be left to my own devices; the best way to do that is to not draw attention to myself, and the best way to not draw attention to myself is to not stand out.
