Have you ever had something that you couldn't make go away? Kinda like a burden....but not really. Like maybe a medical disorder or something. What if was an ability? An "Eye Ability". This is story of a group of kids with these abilities before they leave for summer vacation.

 

The "Eye Abilities":

 

Concealment: (Kurumi Himura)

"Hiding One's Eyes" ability. Can divert perception towards objects and even people within 2 meters of herself/himself and/or her/his surroundings, rendering them invisible. Conversation while being hidden also won't be heard by outsiders. Physical contact, however, breaks the effect, so it isn't useful in very crowded places; as well, if a person outside the 2 meter bubble is familiar with someone being concealed, the power will not be as strong. The ability works more by preventing people from recognizing those being hidden, rather than making them unable to be seen. She has practiced to control her ability perfectly and to not disappear suddenly. If unpracticed, the user could disappear suddenly.

 

Illusion: (Dagon Valefar)

To "Deceive One's Eyes". It can change what people around him see and show them something different, but he/she can only use it on himself/herself, means he/she cannot change appearances of others, etc.

 

Analysis and Animal Communication: (Code "Zed")

"Eye-Stealing" ability, which allows him/her to read information from the target. The user can also speak to animals using his/her eye ability.

 

Paralysis: (Luke)

The "Eye Contact" ability. It allows her/him to temporarily stop the movement of whoever meets the users gaze. It is not as she/her is not able to turn people into stone, but to more "freeze" them for a little while.

 

Captivation: (Yuki Saimin)

Known as "Eye Attention", can draw peoples' attention, regardless of their preferences in tastes or interests.

 

Focusing: (Claude Turner)

"Eye Focusing". It has the power to perceive objects and details that are far away from an aerial view.

 

Awakening: (Gideon Thrath)

Awakening Eyes", gives him/her the ability to remake their body into one that he/she finds to be his "ideal"(NOTHING COMPLETELY OFF THE WALL OR YOU WILL BE THROWN). However, this put a large strain on the users mind, and causes him/her to lose part of their memory. Not complete amnesia.

Those whom posses the abilities are called the "Mekakushi Dan". Even though some who have joined do not posses power.

 

 

 

Rules:

1) The major rule is this; please enjoy yourself.

2) Stick around as much as you can--the more that everyone posts the more the story can advance, so have a good time and don't be afraid to have your character make some strange or interesting decisions, it will only make the RP more interesting. Interact with other people.

3) Don't over do your abilities.

4) Go with the flow. People will make their own choices and the story will encounter a few twists and turns. It's more interesting when characters have to deal with thus twists naturally.

5) General RP Rules apply.

Kurumi has always hate her ability. That second her mother died, nobody seemed to see her until Kurumi actually touched someone. Her ability is why she became a NEET. She uses it not to be seen in her house...even though Concealment is weaker around those who know the person using it. She has only let one person see her, his name is Kuroto...or Kuro. Kuro has lately been traumatized by a woman who calls herself Kana.

 

Kana is like Kurumi....but not. Kana can see Kurumi when Kurumi used her ability. Kana is out to kill her for just having the ability. Kurumi ask herself why sometimes, but can never answer why.

 

School is ending this week, and summer is right around the corner. With this being the last week of School, Kurumi is out and about. Kuro has no choice but to go to school along with others. Little does he know, Kuro goes to school with some people like Kurumi.

 

Today was Tuesday, he sat on a bench outside with several textbooks and some assignments. Kuro was studying for the final exams that were...tomorrow. Using her Concealment, Kurumi sat beside Kuro. What a terrible mistake that was. Kuro imminently moved positions and accidentally hit Kurumi, making her ability vanish until she activates it.

"S-Sorry Kurumi!!" He exclaimed, scooting away from her for a second.

"It's okay Kuro." She responded back.

"You scared me..." Kuro sighed.

"I always scare you." Kurumi said seriously.

"What would you like Kurumi?" He asked, looking at her.

"Come to the Komae Apartments after school gets out. Building three, room 107. That will be out meeting place for the Mekakusuki. The apartment used to be my sisters but she's going to be moved out today around the time school gets out. Once she moves out, the apartment is mine." Kurumi said, handing Kuro a letter.

Kuro wasn't the only one to receive this letter. All of the Mekakusuki Dan got a letter like this.

 

"To: Mekakusuki Dan Member

 

Hello, my name is Kurumi Himura. I am a NEET and am not normal. Why am I not normal? I have an ability. It's called Eye Concealment. It blocks others from seeing me unless someone touches me, or knows me.

 

The reason why you were given this letter is because you might have a similar ability. If you do NOT have an ability, you still must come.

 

In my concealment and stalking of mysterious people, I have discovered that there are other people like us. They just want to ruin us though. They want to kill us.

 

We are going to stop these people.

 

Come to the Komae Apartments after school gets out. Building three, room 107. That will be out meeting place for the Mekakusuki Dan.

after what Kurumi talked about the meeting plans Luke sighed for a moment "uh.. everyday? Okay that's fine with me.. I guess but I wonder what day it is today anyways. Maybe I go check the calendar in the next building, I believe i saw one in the lobby as I was renting a room there, See ya round" said Luke as he left the apartment room. Luke made his way to the building doors only to see someone dead near the front door, Luke made this way inside the lobby but couldn't see anything as it was too dark "Hmm... lucky I have my mobile phone with me" said Luke as he used the light from his phone to see in the dark. Luke looked around finding alot of dead people "Wh..What the heck happened here" said Luke as he looked around trying to find anything that might show him who or what did this mess.    

Yuki gave Kuro a warm smile. "No big deal." He told him. "I can be a bit forceful my self." He rubbed his head and turned to walk away.

"Besides." He said. "Your girlfriend, your problem."

Kuro imminently tensed up.

"She is not my girlfriend!" He snapped.

"I don't know Kurumi that well, but she is a good friend." Kuro said seriously.

"Goodbye." Kurumi said to Zed, Claude, and Slica.

"Everyday." She snapped at Luke.

After Luke left, Kurumi looked at Gideon.

"About three months....." She said seriously.

Yuki chuckled. "I hope you know that you just set her up then." He told Kuro, not even looking back as he walked down the road. "I don't have any competition now." Yuki's focus shifted to the enemies of the Mekakushi Dan. If they had similar abilities, than that meant two things. One: there was another with eyes like his, with answers. Two: the biggest threat, Kana could be anywhere, even right behind him and Yuki wouldn't notice.

Kana stood with her concealment behind Luke.

"Something that you shouldn't know about." she whispered. 

Kana quickly vanished her ability, holding one of her daggers to Luke's neck.

"Tell me who you are, and where the girl with concealment is or you will die here and be the first victim of the Azami." she snapped.

"What are you planning to do with Kurumi?" Kuro asked, a bit concerned.

He was silent for a second before looking at Yuki.

"You're planning to use your eye ability to make her fall for you....aren't you?" he asked a bit grimly. 

 

(Azami was the main antagonist of the original Kagerou Project series. It is also the name of the antagonist group.)

Yuki stopped. He turned around. "I'll tell you the truth. My eyes don't seem to affect her. That's why she interests me."

He continued on his way home. "No more no less."

I looked back at the apartment building, I didn't check out the other buildings. I would still like to check them out...since I'm an observant person. "Hey Zed you wanna check out the other apartment buildings?" He shrugged and looked at his watch. He shrugged again but it looked like a sure. "Okay then!" I dragged Zed with me to check out the other buildings. Before getting near the second apartment building I could already see some blood and bodies. Oh my god... I stared in horror and Zed cloud understand what was going on. He slowly started to get closer to the door quietly...

 

~~Slica~~ 

I wondered where that Luke guy went. I shrugged my shoulders and went on with my business.

Luke then heard a voice whisper in the dark behind him, Luke gasped as he was about to quickly turn around to see who it was that spoke to him. But before Luke could do that a sharp dagger was placed against his neck. Luke stayed still in fear that the person would finish him off if he were to move even a muscle. "The Azami?" whispered Luke to himself. Luke was in no position to even try and attack the mysterious figure or use his powers of paralysis as he needs to be able to see the person or meeting their gaze at least anyways. Luke decided that he had no choice but to tell the my person what they wanted to know "My name is Luke & the girl with the concealment powers is in the building next to this one in the apartment room number 107" said Luke shamefully. Luke then thought to himself "Darn it..this person is good to have gotten behind me without a sound, But judging by their voice it sounds like a girls voice if I'm not mistaken" Luke then spoke out saying "I'd like to know your name, And did you do all this mess? Also do you know a girl named Emaralda by any chance?" Luke waited in silence hopping the mysterious figure would let him go with at least some answers.

"I'm Kana...and I didn't do this." the girl said before disappearing again. 

Kana looked at the building and smirked.

"You're an idiot." she whispered darkly, walking towards building three. 

Kana began heading for the room, opening the door, she met eyes with Kurumi, and Gideon was there too.

"Kana!" Kurumi yelled. 

Kana relieved herself. 

"You caught me." she smiled, throwing a dart towards Kurumi.

Kurumi quickly dodged it, grabbing Gideon's arm, she pulled out her pistol and began shooting. Kana managed to dodge.

Kuro turned around at the sound of gunfire.

"Gunfire.....Kurumi! Kurumi's in trouble!" he yelled, running back towards the apartment. 

The strange mysterious figure that was holding a dagger to Luke's neck told him that her name was Kana & that she didn't kill these people nor made this bloody mess, But that's all she said to Luke before she lowered her dagger and then vanished into the darkness. Luke then turned his head quickly to see that she had disappeared, Luke then gave a big relief "WOW, that was a close one. But at least I got to know her name...Kana ay...that's a nice name. I should tell the others about this as well as this Azami thing she spoke of. Maybe someone else will know more about this" said Luke as he tried to find his way out of the lobby but keeps on falling over desks, cabinets, bodies & other stuff trying to find the front door in the dark as he had dropped his phone during the appearance of Kana.

--Zed-- 

I only got a glimpse at a girl who seemed to have the same powers as Kurumi. Named Kana...and this Azami thing... Her mother died...and her father left her. I can't help but to feel sorry for her. But all she wants is to kill Kurumi...

Zed seemed to know something so I asked him and he whispered to me everything he knew.

"Stay back, kid." Yuki ordered, already having passed Kuro. He threw the door open and vaulted over and around corpses and debris that he could barely see before rushing up the stairs. "Hey!" He called outside the room. "I've got just what you want right here." Yuki knew that at the very least, his eyes gave them the ability to attract peoples' attention. Hopefully this worked.

Kurumi dashed out the door, pulling Gideon behind her, then grabbing ahold of Yuki and beginning to run.

"You're such an idiot Yuki!" she snapped.

Kana began shooting at Kurumi as they ran down the stairs. Kurumi quickly moved the three out of the way, and once they were on the ground again, Kana stopped shooting, begging to walk away.

Kurumi cast concealment on all of the Mekakushi that was still around the area.

"It's not idiocy." Yuki snapped back at Kurumi. "It's initiative."

He pulled out his kunai. "She's the biggest threat to us, so she needs to be the first to go."

"None of us need to be killed already Yuki! We need to leave her alone, and go home." Kurumi snapped.

"Even if she is the biggest threat, we need to get her later." she said a bit quietly.

Luke had finally found a backdoor that was in the lobby area "I wounder were this leads?" said Luke curiously as he went through the backdoor which led him to behind the buildings of both the apartment building and the lobby building. The sun was setting into night when Luke stepped outside Luke checked his watch for the time & it was 4:23pm "Hmm...It's getting late. But at least I found my phone" said Luke as he then checked his phone to see if it was still working properly. Luke was then shocked to see that his phone had a picture that showed him a blurry image or the girl Kana who held the dagger to his neck, but also showed another blurry image behind the dagger girl, there was another person outside the window, the window that had that heart drawn on it in blood. Luke thought to himself "My phone must have taken this picture when I dropped it" Luke then got a chill saying "Creepy!...I should tell the others tha..." just then Luke could her battle like sounds coming from the apartment building.

 

"OH NO! I hope that wasn't Kana's doing. I'd hate for any cute girls to get hurt, even the bad ones, but I bet I could stop her this time & get some more info not only about this Azami thing but maybe on my sister Emaralda too" said Luke as he then started to run around the apartment building only to once again accidentally bump into Slica again with both of them hitting the ground on their butts "OUCH!... my head can't take much more of this" said Luke jokingly like "Oh, it's you Slica what are you doing here at this time, I thought you went home?" said Luke as he stood up off the ground.

Gideon had used some throwing knives to support Kurumi's gunfire. He ran along behind her and Yuki.

"She's right." He said to Yuki. "That lady is here to hunt us, which means she's prepared. We're not. When we're ready, we'll try again."

 

Samantha Crane stepped off the bus and gave this new town a disgruntled look. She wasn't happy to be here, but then she had rarely been happy with any of her movements over the years. She was just-

"No, your are not scared." She thought, her frown deepening. "You are not some frightened little girl. You have power."

Samantha squared her shoulders, adjusted her bags and went off to look for someplace to stay.

I heard gunfire and Zed could hear it as well. He stood up and looked at the sky. "Uh...Zed nows not the time!" 

He kept staring at the sky and then motioned me to come. "You have the claw. Right?"

"Uh...yeah. Why?"

"I have a plan, but...never mind."

"No tell me!" 

"No...stay here. Kurumi put concealment on us. Most likely that will be so we can escape or stealth attack."  

 

~~Slica~~

I landed on the ground again by this boy again. This was starting to irritate me... "I uh...um... I got lost." Even for me...I had no sense of direction. I stood up and patted the grass off of me once again. "What are you doing then, Luke?" I fixed my glasses.

"You got lost??...hmm..." said Luke as Slica got off the ground "What am I doing, I..uh.." Luke took a moment to look at Slica more "You know your kinda cute haha..oh MAN! I totally forgot what I was doing now" said Luke with a blushing face. Luke then tried to remember what he was running for, Luke then thought to himself "Hmm...I've totally forgotten what I was doing, maybe that hit on my head did it or something" Luke all of a sudden felt really sleepy, He then went to check his phone for the time but when he reached for it, it was missing "Hmm...strange. Hey Slica do you have the time? as I think might be past 5:00pm by now" said Luke.

 

Meanwhile as Slica & Luke were talking to each other there was a strange person wearing a black coat with their hood up  (their face is cover up by the hood) starring at them listening to their conversation. The stranger was hiding behind a tree in the woods that was near Luke & Slica (The woods are behind the apartment buildings).    

~~Slica~~

I sighed and heard his next line putting my hand to my forehead, "I will ask you politely to refrain from having those feelings towards me." I said patting the dust off of my book, I never understood the word love. It was such a distraction from reading and knowledge then again no one ever called me a normal girl.

Luke gave a little laugh before saying "haven't heard that line before and your a bit young for me anyway haha, But take the compliment at least girl" said Luke with a smile on his face. Luke said "Anyway Slica, what is the time?". 

Yuki sighed. "Fine."

He put his kunai away. "Am I good to go or are there any more emergencies today?"

~~Slica~~

I looked at my watch, "5:06." I said looking at the sky, I had to get home by 7. The maids and butlers would worry if I didn't. Maybe I should head by the library before I call George to get me...

"You're good to go...but if you go too far....my ability will lose its effect and you will be unprotected." Kurumi said.

"Aww it will?" Kuro complaint.

He'd been walking behind the group this whole time.

Kurumi looked at Kuro and nodded.

"That is the down side of my ability." she said, facing forwards again.

For a while it was quiet and Zed was listening then said, "Okay plan is to get out of here. It only makes sense because I hear no battle going on."

"Okay then." I said standing up dusting myself off.

"Wait I'll walk you home.""What? Why? I'll be perfectly fine." 

He averted his gaze I studied his look...he looked worried. I've heard he's overprotective of the animal units as well...hm... "Are you...overprotective?"

He nodded, "Especially friends..."

I smiled, "Okay friend let's go then." He called me friend, I grinned to myself. Looks like things will go well.
