Have you ever had something that you couldn't make go away? Kinda like a burden....but not really. Like maybe a medical disorder or something. What if was an ability? An "Eye Ability". This is story of a group of kids with these abilities before they leave for summer vacation.

 

The "Eye Abilities":

 

Concealment: (Kurumi Himura)

"Hiding One's Eyes" ability. Can divert perception towards objects and even people within 2 meters of herself/himself and/or her/his surroundings, rendering them invisible. Conversation while being hidden also won't be heard by outsiders. Physical contact, however, breaks the effect, so it isn't useful in very crowded places; as well, if a person outside the 2 meter bubble is familiar with someone being concealed, the power will not be as strong. The ability works more by preventing people from recognizing those being hidden, rather than making them unable to be seen. She has practiced to control her ability perfectly and to not disappear suddenly. If unpracticed, the user could disappear suddenly.

 

Illusion: (Dagon Valefar)

To "Deceive One's Eyes". It can change what people around him see and show them something different, but he/she can only use it on himself/herself, means he/she cannot change appearances of others, etc.

 

Analysis and Animal Communication: (Code "Zed")

"Eye-Stealing" ability, which allows him/her to read information from the target. The user can also speak to animals using his/her eye ability.

 

Paralysis: (Luke)

The "Eye Contact" ability. It allows her/him to temporarily stop the movement of whoever meets the users gaze. It is not as she/her is not able to turn people into stone, but to more "freeze" them for a little while.

 

Captivation: (Yuki Saimin)

Known as "Eye Attention", can draw peoples' attention, regardless of their preferences in tastes or interests.

 

Focusing: (Claude Turner)

"Eye Focusing". It has the power to perceive objects and details that are far away from an aerial view.

 

Awakening: (Gideon Thrath)

Awakening Eyes", gives him/her the ability to remake their body into one that he/she finds to be his "ideal"(NOTHING COMPLETELY OFF THE WALL OR YOU WILL BE THROWN). However, this put a large strain on the users mind, and causes him/her to lose part of their memory. Not complete amnesia.

Those whom posses the abilities are called the "Mekakushi Dan". Even though some who have joined do not posses power.

 

 

 

Rules:

1) The major rule is this; please enjoy yourself.

2) Stick around as much as you can--the more that everyone posts the more the story can advance, so have a good time and don't be afraid to have your character make some strange or interesting decisions, it will only make the RP more interesting. Interact with other people.

3) Don't over do your abilities.

4) Go with the flow. People will make their own choices and the story will encounter a few twists and turns. It's more interesting when characters have to deal with thus twists naturally.

Kurumi has always hate her ability. That second her mother died, nobody seemed to see her until Kurumi actually touched someone. Her ability is why she became a NEET. She uses it not to be seen in her house...even though Concealment is weaker around those who know the person using it. She has only let one person see her, his name is Kuroto...or Kuro. Kuro has lately been traumatized by a woman who calls herself Kana.

 

Kana is like Kurumi....but not. Kana can see Kurumi when Kurumi used her ability. Kana is out to kill her for just having the ability. Kurumi ask herself why sometimes, but can never answer why.

 

School is ending this week, and summer is right around the corner. With this being the last week of School, Kurumi is out and about. Kuro has no choice but to go to school along with others. Little does he know, Kuro goes to school with some people like Kurumi.

 

Today was Tuesday, he sat on a bench outside with several textbooks and some assignments. Kuro was studying for the final exams that were...tomorrow. Using her Concealment, Kurumi sat beside Kuro. What a terrible mistake that was. Kuro imminently moved positions and accidentally hit Kurumi, making her ability vanish until she activates it.

"S-Sorry Kurumi!!" He exclaimed, scooting away from her for a second.

"It's okay Kuro." She responded back.

"You scared me..." Kuro sighed.

"I always scare you." Kurumi said seriously.

"What would you like Kurumi?" He asked, looking at her.

"Come to the Komae Apartments after school gets out. Building three, room 107. That will be out meeting place for the Mekakusuki. The apartment used to be my sisters but she's going to be moved out today around the time school gets out. Once she moves out, the apartment is mine." Kurumi said, handing Kuro a letter.

Kuro wasn't the only one to receive this letter. All of the Mekakusuki Dan got a letter like this.

 

"To: Mekakusuki Dan Member

 

Hello, my name is Kurumi Himura. I am a NEET and am not normal. Why am I not normal? I have an ability. It's called Eye Concealment. It blocks others from seeing me unless someone touches me, or knows me.

 

The reason why you were given this letter is because you might have a similar ability. If you do NOT have an ability, you still must come.

 

In my concealment and stalking of mysterious people, I have discovered that there are other people like us. They just want to ruin us though. They want to kill us.

 

We are going to stop these people.

 

Come to the Komae Apartments after school gets out. Building three, room 107. That will be out meeting place for the Mekakusuki Dan.

--Zed--

I was going to unmask the man when... I saw the thing on his side, a small bomb... And that was it. Ughhhh. I opened my eyes to see the sky I fell off the building. I looked at my body. There was blood everywhere, A large wound on my arms and body. My eye was bleeding and my legs were slightly paralyzed. My mask was okay luckily but I was going to faint of blood lost. The gas got into my wounds a little...I limped my way out of there as far as I could before collapsing...

 

~-~Claude~-~

I watched as the top of the roof explode, "ZED!" I yelled putting my pack on and running to the side of the building finding him unconscious. "Zed! You okay?! Zed!" I shook him but there was no response, I put his arm over my shoulder. I then took him away towards everyone, he was bleeding bad...

(I find it amazing that Yuki could talk so enthusiastically when Sarin still reaches EVERYONE in the area. He must've inhaled a lot just saying that)

 

Both of Malacoda's legs bled, slightly above his ankles. He fell, right beside Zed as he grinned, at the last moment before Yuki's explosion. He was sent back, hitting against the house's chimney. The explosion shockwave loosened the bullets that had pierced Malacoda, and he merely plucked them out. They bled, but not violently so. "Ahahahahaha....." He chuckled, "I guess I see red too." Malacoda leaned forward bringing his head to his legs, and drank out of his own flowing blood with satisfaction. He rose and licked his lips, "I am not a human...I can do...whatever I want to...I can drink the fluids in a human body...and eat the flesh and bones of them...." He smiled. "You'll see red too...." He chuckled a bit, then went on to shoot Yuki. He shot him again. And then fired at Claude and even Shephard. He reloaded, picking up his snake sword in the meantime.

(Apparently I read a little bit about this stuff and um... It can't get high in the air some reason. It said something like it's too dense or something weights it down for some reason.)

My vision started to get blurry and I was coughing. "No...no...no!" I said quickly as I could placing my claw on and hooking onto the roof of the other apartment. I was sorry to leave Shepherd behind but he knew how to handle himself.

I was up in the sky higher than before seeing what was going on. The strange man was against the chimney, I told Zed this but got no response. But only a 'I'll tell him' from Shepherd.

I knew was being shot at but being an army dog I swiftly dodged the bullets. I followed Claude and Zed to the other building where they received fresher air that soon would go away. 

 

--Zed--

"Zed! Wake up! Wake up!" I opened my eyes to see Claude. 

"Claude..?"

"Thank god! I thought you were dead!"

"You don't have a mask..."

"Oh I guess my scarf saved me then." He smiled.

I patted his head and stood up, "Take the others out of the area now." I said taking back out the dual nail pistols. I ran up the building leaving Claude and got to the roof. Yes painful...but this was better than army training... I hid behind a vent and got the message from Shepherd. I could see him licking his wounds... It seemed that hurting him wouldn't do enough...the mask...

(It gets in the air, but not too high. It is a heavy gas, but it's still a gas, and freely roams about the nearby air. Considering it was released a bit higher, it's easier to spread there as it's where it started. It'll easily reach the roof, but not to the point where Jay is, above it. Also, Malacoda shot at Claude as well.)

 

Malacoda had an advantage, as he was still atop the rooftop as the others were down on the ground. Ignoring Shepherd after having dodged his bullets, Malacoda moved on to the already injured Zed, who had went back into the building, probably for another chance to try and kill Malacoda himself. Malacoda had an advantage to all the others though, as the Sarin still spread and wad enough to kill them all even without Malacoda shooting most of them as he did. Shepherd and Jay could probably easily survive, but they were far from being a threat of any kind. "I know you're here...." Malacoda said, once again having his voice distorted by the gas mask. It was rather secure, and even under it, Malacoda had his other, white mask shrouding his face.

(Poor Kurumi laying half dead. Poor Zed who is STILL ALIVE SOMEHOW. Stuid Malacoda WHO STILL IS NOT DEAD) 

(I'm magical...or a zombie. After this I'm making my character go take so many pills. And I know Cloaked but since Shepherd was the only one in plain slight I made him dodge. Claude was in the field of trees.)

--Zed-- 

He knew I was here...I started to think... It wouldn't be safe to do close combat with this person nor I could remove the mask... I sat against the vent taking my pistols apart and reforming them into a sniper rifle. It would be my best chance of getting rid of his mask. I reloaded it and asked Jay for any parts that would be easily damageable, Jay told me there were some straps that would easily go down. I stood my ground and aimed at the front of the mask...where the glass was...and fired 3 shots.

 

~-~Claude~-~

I got away with Shepherd but I wondered how Zed would take this man down. I know he was in the police force but he's like half dead! And that other person doesn't see like going down anytime soon...

Zed fired incredibly quickly, But Malacoda shot as well, twice at Zed. Zed's first bullet was too sudden of him for it to strike Malacoda, but the other two were shot well. One shot at the armor of the mask, the other at the glass, breaking it, but with his eyes still fine, hid behind his other mask. A poorer method to block out any gas, but, nonetheless helpful. Malacoda's snake sword whipped again, coiling over Zed's leg, as Malacoda pulled and shot to his stomach, ready to pry Zed's mask with Malacoda's cold, yet alive hands.

--Zed-- (who is still somehow alive)

I felt the bullet go through my stomach. "Jay!" I yelled and I watched my hawked friend to come down with a group of other hawks. Jay grabbed the second mask and flew away, and they all scratched at the first mask eventually breaking it away. But they all fell to the ground paralyzed and left to die... I'm sorry. I struggled to pull out my rifle and I aimed as best as I could. Then fired at the fallen mask making fly off the roof, Jay came back to pick it up and left... The I could tell Jay was not holding up well but he was going to be okay...

 

~-~Claude~-~

I watched as this would be my perfect moment to finish this guy off. I pulled my scarf tight around my nose and mouth. I pulled my goggles down and hooked on to the chimney. I took the momentum and punched the man. I used the claw and held the man by his head... 

Kurumi's eyes shot open from her short moment of unconsciousness. She was in brutal pain, but could see some now and sit up at least. She grabbed her gun, aiming it at Malacoda, and shot. She just kept shooting, and soon she just dropped her gun and grabbed onto her wounds.

"So this is how the Mekakushi treats their leader..." she thought.

 

--Kuro--

Kuro woke up, he had been hearing gunshots for a while. Quickly, he got dressed and ran outside.

"Kurumi..." he muttered.

He heard some more shots, then silence. 

"Kurumi!!" he yelled this time, starting to sprint towards the apartment building. 

As soon as he was there, he covered his mouth and nose with one arm. He knew it wasn't safe here. Quickly, he managed to pick up Kurumi, and run, uncovering his mouth and nose.

 

 

"Kuro....? What are you doing...." Kurumi muttered.

"What do you think I'm doing?!" Kuro snapped.

"My group is in danger and I don't need you getting hurt because of them." she snapped.

"Kurumi!! I'm part of your group too! So let me help you!" Kuro yelled.

It was strange that Luke who went into the apartment room to look for Zed & Claude hadn't come out from the room. Luke was trying to find his friends when he saw a strange figure through the window, Luke thought it was the enemy and so he had burst out of that window landing on his feet, he could feel the gas leaving his system "Wha!..I feel better, guess the gas wasn't strong enough to fully affect me.. ever that or... whatever I haven't the time for this, Wait who's that?" said Luke as he once again saw the strange figure heading into the forest near the apartment "Wait a seconded...is that Kana?" said Luke worried as to why she would be here. Luke quickly begun to run into the forest heading after the girl  "It is Kana!" said Luke as he started to run faster to catch up with her "I can't let her escape knowing she could hurt my friends" thought Luke. Luke finally caught up with Kana "HEY! KANA!! What are you doing here?" said Luke preparing for a fight.

 

(Hope ya don't mind me getting Kana involved into this Neko-chan   )

Kana turned to Luke.

"So I guess the gas effect my eye ability too...." she muttered.

"My question is what are YOU doing here?!" Kana snapped.

"I'm here to help Malacoda of course...to make sure his plan worked. Now I'm leaving because your leader is half dead and shall be dead soon." she said seriously.

"Luke...shouldn't you be with your leader? You do have paralyzation...you are one of the strongest...why aren't you helping your group?" Kana asked.

"Kuro....take my gun and fight." Kurumi said seriously.

"Set me down, take my gun, find something to cover your nose with, run, and fight." she snapped.

Kuro gave a small nod.

"Now!" Kurumi yelled.

"Yes ma'am!!" Kuro snapped, running to the edge of the forest and setting Kurumi down. 

Kurumi hand Kuro her gun, Kuro grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled it up...and he ran.

"Good Luck..." she muttered.

Kurumi let herself lay on the ground, some of her wounds haven't stopped bleeding, others have.

I'm kidding....

Malacoda licked his lips just as he was shot several times by Kurumi. "The taste of my blood remains sweet...but it's cold." Malacoda whispered to himself, just as Claude grabbed him viciously, beginning to both choke and cause him pain. Malacoda kept a calm expression though, still hidden behind a mask. "If my blood is cold...." He whispered, stabbing Claude with his snake sword. He twisted and slashed with the blade after the stab, smiling himself, even in still pain. "...Then I guess my heart is cold too."

(I care about Kana being here)

 

Kuro shot about five times at Malacoda as he stabbed Claude. He made sure he did not shoot the Mekakushi Dan member.

"Why don't you leave our group alone?!" he yelled. 

 

(That was short....but I have to leave because of school....)

"Ah!" I screamed in agony the blade was through my stomach and I fell to the ground. As my nerves froze...

 

--Zed--

"Claude!" I jumped across to the building they were on and I shot through his neck...detaching his head from his body... I froze and looked at Claude taking out the knife as quick as I could and then taking him away. Jay came in and followed me with the decapitated head...

(AND I JUST FEEL LIKE EVERYONE IS DYING.....CAUSE SCHEMER IS IIINNNNSSSSAAANNNNEEEE)

(both of my characters are half dead... then theres my other character that doesn't do anything.)

Luke was face to face with Kana in a forest not to far from Kurumi's apartment building whre the others were fighting Malacoda & Luke had asked what she was doing here only to get the same reply back "My question is what are YOU doing here?!" Kana snapped back at Luke "W..well..hmm....." said Luke a bit unsure on what to say. Kana then spoke again saying that she was here to help Malacoda's plan work well, but then Kana said that she was now leaving because their leader Kurumi will be dead soon. This got Luke very worried about Kurumi & the others too, Luke turned his head for a second looking towards the apartment building to see a lot of rubble & damage to the building, Luke then turned his head back to face Kana.

 

After Kana asked Luke why he wasn't with his leader & why he isn't helping his group, Luke then spoke with a strong confident look in his left & only eye " it's because...unlike you I believe in my friends, & I believe they can win against this Malacoda person....I also believe you once felt feelings towards others too. But you've lost your way along your path, If you'd only listen to me we might be able to help you" Luke then prepared for battle with Kana "I wanna help my friends but...if Kana manages to escape us, we can't get any info about the enemies plan or their other members, if any" thought Luke as he then charged at Kana drawing his sword from his sheath about to strike at Kana.  

"But Luke...there is a small problem with you still being here..." Kana began.

She wield her daggers and quickly threw one at Luke, luckily Kana hit him too, right in the left shoulder.

"I don't have any friends and am fine by myself. If I die in a battle, I die in a battle. Even though I may be apart of the Azami....none of them are my friends." Kana said seriously, getting ready to throw another dagger at her victim.  

Kana had quickly thrown a dagger at Luke which stabbed his left shoulder "ARG!" yelled Luke as his left shoulder started to bleed a bit. Luke stopped charging at Kana for moment, Luke then ripped the dagger out of his left shoulder "You say that your fine by yourself, but my heart tells me otherwise Kana" said Luke as he then threw the dagger high into the air at a strange angel before charging at Kana once again. But this time Luke jumped into the air spinning downwards towards Kana spinning his sword as well. 

Kana grinned, letting Luke's attack strike her.

"Kill me if you insist. Since Kurumi and the others have a major chance of death, then my work is done. " she said seriously.

The attack made her fall to the ground, but a dark look was on her eyes and a smirk on her face.

"Don't think you will kill me easily though....Luke." Kana said, throwing another dagger at him.

This one only grazed the side of his face.

(Wait...Claude was decapitated by accident? Did I read that right...?)
