As someone who grew with Pokemon since the overpowered Psychic types in Gen 1,I used to dislike fighting type Pokemon and usually avoid getting one for my team......then comes the awesomeness that is Lucario,Gallade,Scrafty and Blaziken to change my mind

 

 

Now I realized how much potential fighting type has especially in the competitive scene where I never expected the likes of Machamp and Conkeldurr to be useful.Heck,I even found a use for Poliwrath ^_^

 

 

most of the fighting types I use have decent move pools and type coverage and they can learn attacks like Shadow Claw,Ice Punch,Thunder Punch,Fire Punch,and in Gallade's case:Leaf Blade

 

I even use my Lucario to beat the shit outta some psychics like Alakazam or to deal decent damage to the likes of Gardevoir

 

Now I always make sure to have a Fighting type Pokemon in my team 

I wish there were more cutesy fighting types... ;

 

Still; They are pretty awesome

Lucario's always been my favorite pokémon.

I love fighting types, and you had me at Lucario!  Lucario is definitely a badass!  And fighting types are definitely useful and very powerful.  I love Machamp, and various other fighting types!  They have awesome abilities and they are awesome to look at!  (Megavolution Lucario looks so firetrucking badass!) :')

Blaziken+speed boost, that is all.

 

(Yes I know it's primary type is fire)

I actually be capturing the female version, even if it's based off... you know.

 

I would say because of Blaziken, but it's probably in more terms of his blazing fists. (Fire/Fighting combo)

I got in love with Fighting type mainly because of Lucario....I love Lucario sooo much.

 

You have no idea how many times Lucario saved me from losing....He and my Jolteon are the reason I managed to beat Iris and he saved me against Red's Charizard in the last match in the PWT champion tournament

 

 

Lucario is also fun to use in Smash Bros Brawl and he actually became one of my mains(alongside Sonic,Kirby,DK,Bowser,Luigi...etc)

 

 

I also love other Fighting type Pokemon like Gallade,Scrafty and Blaziken,but Lucario is my favorite.

 

Actually,Lucario is my favorite non-legendary Pokemon of all time

I can understand Lucario's popularity.....Fighting and Steel really is a good type combo *nod nod*

 

Plus he really looks pretty cool
