    My biggest problem with this song is that the person brings up contemporary issues in stories that are either supposed to take place back in time, or, if you like it better, after civilization collapsed and was rebuilt to something like our past.

     

    Belle's while it is a bit goofy, like anyone is going to believe the prince of the castle used to be a beast. And even so wouldn't he have enough influence to stop the villagers?

     

    Though the Pocahontas one is actually accurate.
