I have always been a fan of Dragon Ball. It hasn't received as much praise as DBZ but I love it just as much, if not more.

I have always had this idea, of a game that just played through the adventure of DB, the whole series. Not a game where it just goes to fighting scenes over and over, but where you play the story in full detail. I mean it could be massive! Eventually you would come to a point (ideally after they first use the Dragon Balls and Goku sets off to train with M. Roshi) where the game can become a free roam. Just where you can hop on your Nimbus and fly around the world, but not in a crappy view, a fully detailed view like flying in GTA. It can have all the elements of a RPG, with leveling up and building skill trees, and also have loads of side quests! And it doesn't need to be serious the whole game, it can be really kid friendly, with certain serious battles. They could probably make it for PS4/X1, and I am sure they could make a LOT of money.

 

This has been a dream game of mine for many years, and I am very passionate about the idea. If I could I would organise with the company to make it but I just don't exactly have the rep for that. I hope this idea is something people will appreciate

Yup the fighting games rehashes every year or two aren't that enticing anymore.  I doubt that a game like that will ever happen.  If you ever want to play a game similar to that look up DBZ: Buu's Fury for the gba.

This actually sounds like a great idea. I'm new to DB/DBZ, so I can't really call myself a major fan, but I'd be willing to buy a game like this. I like fighters and all, but that's all that anime games ever are anymore.

I totally agree with u, I mean come on, the DBZ games are starting to even skip the story mode on it's games just to give more fighting features!They totally ruined the fun on that, I really wish for more specifics in story mode, not just fighting and also not just sticking on the Z story.

The original Dragon Ball also need to have it's games too!

Wut? Everyone who is not a kid and not blinded by Nostalgia actually likes Dragon Ball far more

DBZ had a good Frieza Saga the rest sucked ass

 

Also it would suck if it would be Kid Friendly...cuz Dragonball was NOT Kid-Friendly...there was so much Sexual Humour in it...if that was gone that would totally suck
